If Barcelona keep up this scoring level I don't see any of them stealing even a point. They just need to get lucky you know. However here is the thing...

After the Real Sociedad match the Champions League is also back. The fixtures gets much tighter. The breaks will be 2-3 days the most. Let's see.

These fixtures I suppose should not get Barcelona on there back, it is mostly going to be them chasing some really good wins with theses fixtures, even espanyol to me does not look like they will turn out so challenging, very likely they will be tough but Barcelona have a bigger chance to win them of which if Barcelona wins them, I see no other team been capable enough to stand them amongst the others remaining in their next five fixtures.

But make no mistake Barcelona frequently loses points to weaker teams. They can even dominate games but sometimes they have unlucky days such as having numerous chances but being unable to score forcing Barcelona to settle for a draw. This often happens when facing teams with solid defenses.

So in terms of team quality Barcelona is far superior to the five opponents they will face. However in football anything can happen especially in January when Barcelona will face very tight matches in La Liga, the Spanish Super Cup, and the Champions League. Naturally a busy schedule will affect player performance due to overexertion.

Maybe there might be a chance occurring for Atletico Madrid to get a little closer to the front row teams next week. Because among top 3 teams they have the easiest fixture which is against Real Sociedad away.

It is good to see your confidence however we also need to look at the table, two days ago Atletico were fourth behind the top three. Again Barca and Real are much higher with 46/42 point, and Atleticos point are between 25 and 37. That mean they are still in a fight but they have not been able to breathe down their necks

I will not deny that they showed that they are in form by beating Girona 3-0. This win will give them a good boost before they face Sociedad. And Sociedads current situation is kinda ew, with consecutive loss and draw they are already cornered. In my opinion Sociedads season is going disgusting. However nothing can be said in advance in La Liga. On the other hand Barca is also doing well, they are finishing 2025 like kings by defeating Villarreal

So the gap will only be reduced if Atletico can find the right matches. But if you think the game will be completely watery then you would be wrong lol..

This will not only help them on home games where it will help with the advantage, but also a filled out stadium would mean over 10 million euro income. Roughly 20-25 games a season at least, means 200-250 million euro income just from those alone, would be a lot more if they increase the ticket prices from old times too. That's literally a ROI positive deal in less than 4 years.

Madrid only lost in the series where Madrid felt 3 draws while Barcelona 1 time which makes the consistency that Barcelona is too proud of seems ordinary if we are adrift of statistics during the 18 matches they have done.

Villarreal is one team I'm still watching closely because they're really having a nice time. With two outstanding games, the team still sits at the 4th place with 35 points. Athletical Madrid doesn't seem to understand that they're as good as being in the 4th as we speak. So it is comfortable to say that Villarreal is the third title contenders and a serious one at that.

Yes, i also noticed that the team is performing in a truly masterly way, and therefore it has serenely moved up to fourth place with 35 points, not many compared to Atletico Madrid, so it can easily aim to take third place from a team short of ideas.

Villareal definitely doing a good job, didn't expected them to get better, last time I remember they were any decent was when Unai Emery was managing them, since then I did not see them doing fine. One thing I am sure however is that we are seeing some good thing going with this, it's really high quality and should be considered very good for long term. If they can finish top four, that will be great for them and could make them some great money for their future as well as new transfer money.

It has become like a vise versa something. Real Madrid that used to be hot during the first part of the season is no longer hot again, they are now struggling to keep up with the competition and chasing Barcelona at the back like a tail of an animal which will never get to the front of the animal. While I am unsure about the possible outcome of the Barcelona games, Real Madrid is still going to struggle like the for a while more, I think they might still be able to surpass Barcelona but there is no certainty about it for now, we are going to work with what we see at the moment.
