I can't believe how toxic Real Madrid has become. They sacked a coach that worked for them just after they refused any of their coach request. They were not a serious club. Even when after they sacked Xabi, they replace him with someone that is not even better than him.
I think they're a joke club right now. Any of decision taken was out of my mind. The team treated all of their players like divas, and have superiority over the coach.
Is that normal? I don't think it's normal. A good club has to build from a coach combined with good players. When club and players can't respect their coach, it's all useless.
I don't know why you guys are making a fuss about this. This is how Real Madrid has always been. Deliver or you get sacked. It's that simple. They don't have te time to give a manager time to build a winning team or time to suffer. They allowed Carlo stay for a full season because the previous season he won the UCL and the League, if not he would have stayed till the end of last season. This is Real Madrid and Perez's way of doing things, so I don't understand what the fuss is about. Alonso was not a good coach in Madrid. You guys can talk about how the team doesn't respect him or how he couldn't handle the dressing room, but those are exactly what makes him not a good fit A good fit would have been able to handle his dressing room and command respect. His team never played convincing in any game except the first game they played this year and the game against Bilbao last year. I am not justifying Alonso leaving the club, but he did not show that he wants to be at a club like Madrid. Arbeloa is taking over as just an interim coach till Madrid finds a better coach. It's a tempory position except he performs exceptionally well.

This just shouldn't happen at any team. Especially at a team like Real Madrid! One player can't have this high authority. Mbappe literally called the players to the locker room and they listened to him instead of the manager. Therefore I fully understand Xabi Alonso's deciding to resign. Why would he want to stay in a place where he isn't taken seriously? Unbelievable unprofessionalism by the team. Mbappe is your biggest star okay but you must still put limits to him. I blame Perez the Real Madrid president, his the major cause as to the reason why his players are disrespectful to his coach. Alonso was once a Real Madrid player if not one of the important players as at the time he was with the club. As a coach, the players are ment to be under the coach, that's how every team is set up but I just don't understand why it seems different for Real Madrid. The ego's in the club is way too much and handling big players one needs to cut these egos down, exactly what Alonso wanted to do but he didn't get the backings of the president. It's even more saddening that it happened to a once upon a time Real Madrid manager. I just pity the caretaker manager because these same players might not respect him as well, instead of him giving directions, they will be the ones doing what they want.

This shows that Alonso cannot manage the team because he lacks control over some big players and that's bad. Your team wouldn't go forward because those players can influence the other ones against you. A coach should be able to be in full charge of his team irrespective the quality of players in it. I think it's a personal thing. I hope Alvaro Arbeloa can meet up to Madrid expectations from him. The manager should be blamed if the players refused to listen to him I thought he was against Vinicious Junior in the past how come it was Mbappe now that the players are listening to? A coach that can not control and manage his team should not be a coach in the firet place so his decision to leave the team because players refused to listen to him is his fault. Alvaro Arbeloa should not manage the players with force that is the first thing that will make him to be disrespected by the players rather he should unite them and work with them with love, respect and wisdom that's the only way he can achieve success in the team.

We all know that Madrid is one of those clubs that don't associate business with pleasure or give managers the leverage of using multiple season to settle down while the teams struggle. From the very moment you accept a role as a team manager or so, it's expected of you to be on your toes from that moment and get the team to producing result. The club is already at the level where it sees itself as the best on the globe. If as a manager you're unable to make that happen and for any reason cause the team to go down below the point they want to see themselves, you will get sacked and that will come without mercy. Plus having a lot of big players in same team, it's a huge responsibility managing a team as real Madrid.

Perez least care about altitude of the player than what the team can bring home. He is a business person that's why they pamper players to come to the club and come work for them. Remember that time when they wanted to sign Mbape, he was so desperate that they wanted to have him by using any resources they had but the boy refused to come. By the time the boy was done and still wanted to come, he and the club accepted him with all their hands. So many indiscipline players on that club, they feel they are entitled to everything and think football revolved around them. It's even unfair that every season, the only team that win the Laliga is either Barcelona or Real Madrid. This monopoly of Spain is not good for the growth of other club because what's their to be participating in leagues and win nothing. I am happy that Barcelona has refused to give them chance, we can see how bad they are now.

If you are given some time and the results do not improve, you will be axed. That's how Perez has been running the show. He has sacked many coaches after a short spell. So Alonso's case is not different. It's a pity this happened, but it is what it is. He's still a good coach, and I'm sure it won't take him long to land another job.

Real Madrid often fires coaches when they fail to win a trophy at the end of the season, but I think this case is very different and perhaps unprecedented for a coach to be given such a short window of opportunity. So, I believe the situation in the Real Madrid dressing room is truly out of control, and Alonso doesn't have the full support of the president or management. As is well known, Los Blancos are a team that consistently attracts world-class players. It's certainly not easy to reconcile their egos, but this time I think the players' actions have gone too far, leading Alonso to choose to resign by mutual consent. I greatly applaud Alonso's stance. Regardless of the situation, the coach is still someone whose decisions on the pitch must be respected. Furthermore, Madrid's current situation isn't that bad, and they still have a very good chance of competing with Barcelona in La Liga.

I think Alonso has agreed from the beginning to coach Real Madrid, even his confidence with his previous success in Germany makes him sure that he will bring success to Real Madrid, even though it is the opposite, this failure can be a benchmark and can improve the scheme that will be implemented later, even though the demands that Alonso received to restore Real Madrid's glory do not mean that the failure in the Super Cup will end just like that, the La Liga competition is still too long, anything can happen. Real Madrid can certainly do everything they want, the team is well present and has excellent players but together they seem not to find the strength to move forward, they blamed the coach and in fact Xabi Alonso was sent away, i don't know if the new coach will succeed in the enterprise This will create a challenging situation for Real Madrid as they look for a new coach again and see if he can improve the players. I think the main problem for Real Madrid is the players. Because of the large number of star players in the team, they are not able to perform well and maintain harmony among themselves. Xabi did not perform so badly to improve the team but he was fired. Of course this is the right decision for the Real Madrid management because a coach has to be successful in every aspect and inspire the players to perform well.

Xabi Alonso wasn't fired but he resigned as Real Madrid coach after yesterday's final defeat. He resigned because he was incapable and tired of dealing with the players' egos which were impacting the dressing room. Furthermore he hadn't received full support from the club in recent months. So, perhaps these factors ultimately led to his resignation. I vividly remember when Pep first arrived at Barcelona he got rid of star players. Pep Guardiola's reason for getting rid of Barcelona's stars was because too many star players wouldn't be good and he couldn't change the egos of star players. This is what Xabi Alonso ultimately felt and in my opinion Xabi Alonso's choice to resign from Real Madrid was the right one for him and Real Madrid.

I believe Xabi Alonso did the right thing for himself by giving up. Because just think about it. You just can't make your players listen to your calls. Then what's the meaning of being the manager there?
Mbappe is acting like he is the owner of the team. This is ridiculous. No player should be given the freedom to act in this way. Even your best player.
I wonder who the next candidate to deal with Mbappe's ego will be as Arbeloa is temporary there.

Almost everyone was surprised by the action taken by Real Madrid for sacking Alonso. Seriously, it was not something almost everyone was expecting; it was coming in Alonso’s way. I know that Real Madrid is not a consistent team now, and with it showing that it is very possible that Alonso may not win any trophy this season, I expected his luck. But still, Alonso performance is not that bad that it deserves to be sacked so quickly. It has not even been up to one season and he has been sacked. I was expecting that Real Madrid would not take any action of sacking Alonso now, until the end of the season. Still, I later saw the news that Alonso was sacked. I also know this is what it will later lead to.it may not collect Real Madrid offers for a manager. It should have been in Leverkusen, and that should be great, as it may be possible to grow the team. You said that there is not much goal difference. Goal difference is not what matters; what matters most is the trophy.

Was he actually scared or he resigned? Although whichever way it is he is out and if he resigned that's to say that he actually knows what was coming for him, their loss to Barcelona might have contributed to him leaving this club we can't say we aren't seeing whats happening in the club, the club seems unstable, their performance isn't something we can convincingly applaud very well, the club spent money to get good results, so if such result isn't coming then who's to be blamed, the manager wasn't actually managing the team well, I don't know if I will say, the club is bigger than him, it seems the players aren't respecting him or something else is the matter, the club has spent money, they are not impatient rather they need results for their money just as I said.

Alvaro Arbeloa has been given the responsibility of the new manager. But he is inexperienced. Before that, he was the manager of the real madrid B team. With the help of Alvaro arbeloa, the real madrid B team has played 19 matches. They have won only 10 matches. They have lost 8 matches. I do not know why the real madrid management has taken such a decision. Madrid has a lot of star players in the squad. To manage such a squad, an experienced coach is needed. It is unlikely that Madrid's performance will improve with the help of Alvaro arbeloa.
I don’t know much about Álvaro Arbeloa’s past experience. I’ve only read that he previously worked in the youth academy and honestly I’m not sure whether he has the experience to manage a big team. We’ll watch and see. I also read that the Real Madrid board actually wanted Jürgen Klopp, but since he is currently retired and doesn’t plan to return, they decided to continue with a different coach. If Jürgen Klopp were to come back, I would definitely want to see him in charge of the team.

All of you blaming the coach Xabi Alonso you’re all wrong, you can’t be blaming a coach for a player’s bad behaviour and disrespect. Mbappe had the same effect at PSG and that’s why they couldn’t win anything in Europe as he left, they got their first UCL trophy. Now Madrid who used to be a serial winner is loosing titles back to back to back but he’s banging goals. When Barça President said “Mbappe would ruin Madrid’s locker room” people thought he was saying it out of rivalry or jealousy but it’s the truth and it’s evident now. If truly this incident is the reason Alonso resigns then Madrid’s management has failed.

Looking at it from Xabi’s side, he totally lost the dressing room. He couldn't get through to at least five players from day one. He’s a straight shooter with that German discipline so he doesn't know anything about schemes or drama. He’s going to be successful elsewhere, but Real Madrid was just a bad start for him.
I'm more convinced of that because when Xabi Alonso arrived as coach Real Madrid didn't seem to like him very much. There were disputes between players that made the Real Madrid squad uncoordinated. This never happened under previous coaches either Zinédine Zidane or Carlo Ancelotti where every player always had a good mix of players both on the pitch and in the dressing room during halftime. My confidence in Xabi Alonso to coach Real Madrid is quite good with the reputation he has when coaching Bayer Leverkusen who can win the Bundesliga but the first mistake that I think is releasing Modric to AC Milan is certainly an obstacle and this has often been said in this forum in fact there are those who argue with the reason that currently Real Madrid already has a successor so Luka Modric was released without any offer to stay for the next few seasons so at that time they were more confident in velverde and Billingham who were ready to replace Modric's role in Real Madrid's midfield and finally the mistake was all in favor of Xabi Alonso. The atmosphere in Real Madrid is pretty bad right now. No top manager would want to come and deal with these players egos. it is also obvious that the main problem is not the coach, it is the board. They didn't give the authority to the manager. Now, the players are doing whatever they want and they don't care about anything. And at this poiny they won't respect a small unknown coach. And famous coaches probably don't want to join this mess. Real Madrid is in a very difficult position. In my opinion, they need someone with an even bigger ego than the players to fix this...

We will follow the news developments first. After all, Xabi is not a coach without tactics; he works well. It's just that he cannot solve problems that had already occurred in Madrid before he arrived. Madrid must consider the right coach who can handle the egos of each star player with high salaries. They are great players, but it is not easy to turn them into a team with good gameplay.

Do I really have to believe Real Madrid sack Xabi Alonso? I think it's just a mutual understanding that made Xabi Alonso leave the club, but who cares this single action from the Real Madrid management is actually going to cost the a lot like which time does this new coach have to blend in the Spanish LA Liga and with the players, I really think this is not nice I can still see them going trophyless this season again, like what ever the case maybe they should have at least ask Xabi Alonso to finish this season first, as it stands now Barcelona have no competitor anymore.

You are right, Real Madrid management is the problem of Real Madrid and they still don’t know this before they would realize this it would be too late they are not giving their coach freeway and authority to organize the players the way they want in Real Madrid. Their best player can make the management sack their coach if I’m a coach, I cannot come to Real Madrid because at the end of the day they will never value your impact to the team so it is best to look for a club that they respect managers very well. Real Madrid really don’t care about any manager and that is why you see them sack any coach not doing well for a short period, if Pep Guardiola was in Real Madrid, they would have sacked him, not minding the trophies he has brought to the team. Real Madrid cannot fix their problem this season because they are not ready to give a manager full authority and control over the team players.

While its not rare for Real Madrid to have such abrupt decisions but I was still surprised that Xabi Alonso has to leave in the middle of the season. From all that we know, there could have been preconditions set that off Xabi fails to deliver in the Super cup finals he has to leave. The idea of potential of saking Xabi could have been floating for a while and that came to decisive stage after the loss. Xabi might have been a good person and a coach but he surely had failed to manage Real Madrid team, I know it's not all the fault of the coach but he deals with some of the greatest players in world while a more average looking team like Barcelona are beating the stars packed team.
