This is usually the term they use when a manager has been fired. From how Madrid has been playing from the beginning of the season, I never expected them to win any trophy. Even if Alonso has stayed, they wouldn't have won any trophy. The best they would ave done is the Copa del rey and that is if Barceloan messes up, but as for the league and Champions League, I never expected Madrid to wi it.
We don't know how the new coach will perform. He may lack experience but he may be better than Alonso, you never know. After all, he knows the club well.

It's even more saddening that it happened to a once upon a time Real Madrid manager. I just pity the caretaker manager because these same players might not respect him as well, instead of him giving directions, they will be the ones doing what they want.

I honestly don't blame Xabi Alonso for walking out, the ego is too much, extract or example is that Supercopa event where Xabi told the players to give a guard of honour to Barcelona (which was the right thing to do) and Mbappe had the power to override the decision of the coach and it seems like the whole management are in support of the players and its something that is quite reoccurring in the Real Madrid team.

There is this theory that I have that for a manager to excel in Real Madrid now with Mbappe, he has to bow down to him and the other egoistic players or have that commanding presence because of the achievement they (the manager) has accumulated, not just as a manager but also as a player like Zinedane Zidane.

At first I thought the problems weren't that serious. You know Vinicius Junior actually had a problem with his salary which was between him and the board.

Real Madrid players don’t have respect for their coach and this is the reason why they are performing poorly. It is very difficult for a coach to manage a squad if the players do not respect him. The relationship between alonso and madrid's players was clearly visible in this match against barcelona. He led  a mediocre leverkusen team to the bundesliga title. leverkusen was undefeated the  whole season. There is no way to call such a coach a bad coach.

Unfortunately, Kylian Mbappé could not adapt to the manager  the club he was at. Maybe the manager left later. Maybe the same thing happened with xabi. With xabi's strategy , Mbappé did not want to change the playstyle according to the needs of the team. though he is currently one of the best players right now. What if Xabi is leading the Laliga like the way Barcelona is leading the table, and are doing better probably won the Spanish cup they lost to Barcelona, I don't think he will say he want to leave. He will submit a complaints of the team to the board and management. I'm very certain that even the board will consider his request to discipline the players since they are doing well but in this case, they are not.

I think he has tried his best, this job was harder than he expected and there is nothing wrong in been incompetent, it's good that he gave up the position fast because it's obvious the club was eaten him down gradually which is why even the players were no longer respecting him any more. But honestly I don't see Xabi Alonso tenure at Real Madrid as Incompetent, if the players are not following your command, how can you achieve the highest level of success, minus that, in his 34 matches in Real, he won 24 matches, drew 4 and lost 6, that's a good stat, his only fault is that he couldn't bow down to the wishes of the stars.

If xavi lacks the authority over Real Madrid players wil Abeloa have any authority over those players. During xavi Alonso and Abeloa’s playing time, Alonso was a better player and more of a leader in any team he went to even at Real Madrid, if Mbappe who have not won any major trophy at Real Madrid can disrespect Xavi I think Abeloa will not be able to impose his authority on the players.
