The Negreira case, btw, another clown show by the league. Not a single piece of evidence has been brought forward in about 4 years of the case, yet the reputation of a club has been ruined. It's even insulting to the league to suggest that all it takes to bribe referees in the league is just about 400k for the whole year. This is also considering the fact that the person who receives the money is not a referee, meaning he has to share that money with whatever referer that officiates a Barcelona game.
The case is laughable.

Its no secret that Real Madrid is the favourite team in Spain, and Barcelona is seen as the rebellion, it's obviously in their history for anyone who cares to know. So there is also a bias against Barcelona. People will argue about this however they want, but it's there.

We saw how clubs in the league were protesting against Barcelona for registering Olmo and Pau Victor. This is a clubs that generate more money than every club in Europe aside from Real Madrid. Inter of the teams in the league to fightagainst the management of the league that is running the league, they fought against Barcelona for finding ways to register players. Now you have clubs like Sevilla, Sociedad, Betis, who can't even keep their good players. The good players are being shipped off to the EPL. A joke of a league.
Even in the UCL, we can see the effect of the foolish league president on the teams. They cant compete with the English teams.

Adenoma Lookman may be what is missing in Atletico Madrid that is responsible for their many seasons of turmoil.  I'm saying this because it was like a different Atletico Madrid that played Real Betis tonight. Not only that they are beating them by 0-5, the are ahead in all the match statistics even when Betis played at home. I want to watch them play again in  their La Liga meeting this weekend, then I will be able to know if tonight is a mistake or a deliberate defeat.

I think even Real Madrid themselves are aware of it, yet they remain clinging to that single point, enough to make Barcelona feel the heat, and Barcelona can't afford to make mistakes.

There is still some time left in the game, there is a possibility that the result will change and the gap may increase. Right now I agree that Barcelona looks better, however the gap is tiny and anything could happen. I saw Barcelona as better for a long time in the league.

The point difference is only 1, so the competition will continue at full speed. Atletico have fallen behind, but they can close the gap if Barca and Real both slip up. We've seen this many times in the past.
I think Barca's biggest advantage right now is that they can score much more easily. Their average of 2.73 goals per match already shows this. While Real barely win many matches by a one goal margin, Barca play more comfortable games. In the second half of the season, Real will go to Camp Nou, which is an advantage for Barca. Real will also have to play 2 extra Champions League matches in a busy February schedule. I wouldn't be surprised if the gap widens a bit during this period.

Yea the goal difference still keeps the competition much alive between Real Madrid and Barcelona. And whether the two teams flip and Atletico Madrid move to the top I still won't take them in good fate to win the trophy because just like every other seasons they always flop for Real Madrid or for Barcelona before end of the season.

The goals scoring in numbers by Barcelona is a strong advantage the team has over Real Madrid as they contend for the title this season because the tendency for Barcelona to draw or lose  a game is really low compared to Real Madrid which struggles to score and also not with such a strong defence that can stop an opponent from scoring  them to cancel a possible 1 goal margin lead.

I am not surprised by Ademola lookman performance, he is a good player and he has show it many times and anywhere he plays, going to Atletico Madrid is a good decision for him because there are many good players in the team who can help him with an assist to score goal, Atletico Madrid is not a small club, Atletico Madrid is a big club in Spain that compete with Real Madrid and Barcelona, going to Atletico Madrid means that he will be playing in Champions League every season.

Atletico Madrid defeated Real Betis with 5 goals, Real Betis is not having a good season, Isco os their best player and any season he did not play every game for them they can not perform well, many people see Antony as their best player but I see Isco as their key player in the team, he always make things look easy for his teammates when it comes to scoring goals, Real Betis will not forget this defeat because they can not score a single goal in the game.

Agree with you, Atletico Madrid rarely score many goals especially when playing away but today they scored 5 goals, looks more aggressive. Ademola Lookman has always being a good player, both on the national level and club level, and it would be a loss to Atlanta for letting such talent go. I never doubted his form in Atalanta or had any thought that he would underperform at Atletico Madrid.

I honestly turned into that match to see Lookman in action because i don't usually watch ATM's because they are usually boring and he didn't disappoint me because he turned up with a goal and assist, and I was surprised to see that ATM could score a whole 4 goals which is not very common for them and towards the 60th of the match, we saw that ATM started falling back to there usually defensive and boring way, and this tactics is what I have been afraid of for Lookman because that playstyle always diminishes stats.

I was watching the match with particular interest on Ademola LookMan, I wanted him to make an impact on his debut for his new club to live up to the hype, because I was among those that opposed his move to Fenerbache to favour Atletico Madrid move and he finally made the move. Seeing him score today will boast his confidence and aid his settling into the league. Atletico Madrid couldn't score in their previous match before this game, but today they have gotten extra striking power, I hope it continues like this for the Naija boy Mola.

People saying Real Madrid made a mistake by loaning Endrick to Lyon, but I honestly think it was the right move. A young player needs regular playing time, not to sit on the bench every week. At least at lyon, he can play freely, gain confidence and prove himself. That hunger to prove a point can only make him better. In the end, the loan helps everyone, the player gets experience and madrid get a more developed player back. If he eventually returns, he will try to dominate that attack together with the likes of Vini and Mbappe.

Real Madrid's performance was below expectations, especially since they lost a UCL match against Benfica, which is supposed to be the match that took more energy from them. They got booed and still walked around the pitch without intensity, and without any fighting spirit to restore their current level of performance. Overall, it didn't feel like a great game in my opinion. They shouldn't have struggled that much against a team on the 18th position.

Kylian Mbappe has delivered the best part of his career on the left wing. That is where he gets more space to sprint with the ball and cut inside to take shots. It looks like only a proper setup would fix the problem. Additionally, there are better players on the bench for the midfield.

First of all, I think I need to give ATM there flowers, they really deserve, with the tensity they played with and the win they got, this is already a new style to Atletico Madrid. Ademola lookman really has already written his name to the club and this is something that is wonderful to watch, he has already made his debut a successful one, with a goal and an assist this is wonderful. The Copa de Rey is going to be wonderful if they continue with this play they showcase against Real Betis.
