I really didn’t expect this level of performance from Atletico Madrid, especially when they are playing against a team like Real Betis. Is this really how the Real Betis team has fallen? After Atletico Madrid got their first goal, I thought Real Betis would rally for an equalizer but no, Atletico Madrid kept finding the net up to a 5th goal without any response from Real Betis. It was a shameful performance for them indeed and Lookman seems just in the right place with this Atletico Madrid team.

Likewise me I was shocked to see ATM scoring up to 5 goals against Real Betis, it was a total destruction that ATM gave to Real Betis they dominated the game till the full-time and each goal was phenomenal because Betis could do nothing much just to defend which didn't work well for them because ATM was all over them game especially their attack which looked better solid today with Ademola Lookman coming to the team. Real Betis wil have to try and improve because this result wasn't expected from them.

I was saying same thing that he might adapt quickly and in less than how many days of joining Atletico Madrid he had made his presence known to many, this might be the beginning of a new style of play for ATM who knows, with them playing more of defending but mixing both styles together attacking and defending at the same time. So happy that it wasn't just a random club that Atletico Madrid got this big win, it was Betis a big side that's suppose to fight back, no goal coming from the host, does it mean that ATM are now playing a different game with this 5 goals against Betis?

Ademola Lookman got a spotlight in his first game for ATM scoring and assisting his firsts of many, indeed showing he is a star and him helping his team to Europa League few season back wasn't by chance.

ATM trashing Real Betis five goals to one is a bit too much but also not entirely impossible giving much thought of their squad quality and the threats they can offer in a good game. To be honest, ATM are not inconsistent and then we might not consider them much but they still have the quality to do harm against any team.

With the signing of Lookman I hope they can be more consistent, being able to acquire more points as they ought.

First of all, I think I need to give ATM there flowers, they really deserve, with the tensity they played with and the win they got, this is already a new style to Atletico Madrid. Ademola lookman really has already written his name to the club and this is something that is wonderful to watch, he has already made his debut a successful one, with a goal and an assist this is wonderful. A goal on your debut is always a good way to start your playing career in any new club you move to, this is why I am happy for Lookman because he has continued with the playing form from the AFCON and now moved with it to a new club. He is an passionate player and will take that to Athletico Madrid. I think he can go on to keep scoring or contributing an assist in every game he features for his new club, I will not be shocked that at the end of the season, he finishes as one of the players with the most assist or most goals, he has such potentials.

Simeone is always difficult to guess his movements because at some moments sometimes he is very good at mixing the players with suitable formations and schemes but at other moments his coaching schemes are too monotonous which actually makes them troubled by their own performance.
They now fill the last slot in the semi-finals for CdR and in an interesting La Liga week Betis will be Atletico's opponents again on matchday 23.

It is not yet Halftime in the Copa del Rey game between Atletico Madrid and Real Betis but Atletico Madrid are already leading with three goals and Ademola Lookman has also scored a goal in his debut match for them in the 37th minute, Seems like he really is a good signing for Atletico Madrid.

Lookman has never been a failure in all the teams he's played for. I want to watch them play again in  their La Liga meeting this weekend, then I will be able to know if tonight is a mistake or a deliberate defeat.

Lookman is a player that shines anywhere he goes with his style of play he is noticeable. I don't think Atletico Madrid are not changing style of play all because of one man, especially not under Simeone. He has been known to be a defensive minded coach so I don't see no possibilities for changes although the game against Real Betis was a good one, they did well by scoring 5 goals, this is something unusual for them but it's a good thing that they won with a huge goal margin.
Betis losing at home like was surprising , I expected a decent fight, I expected them to challenge better or even draw since they are the home team but it sure wasn't their day.

However, considering the way they are currently playing, they mostly end games with few goals, which means their opponents might equalize and even beat them. Mbappé is indeed a great player and always scores a lot of goals. But it's certainly a shame that even though Real Madrid has many good players, they often fail to capitalize on their chances. They often pass to Mbappé, who ultimately capitalizes on them. Barcelona has players who always appear more confident in front of the opponent's goal, which ultimately results in goals being scored, and not just focused on one player.

But in my opinion, Barcelona and Real Madrid players have their own unique style, and they are certainly the best in La Liga right now. Now we'll see whether Real Madrid or Barcelona will perform better in the upcoming matches.

This means they are now focused solely on the next round where they will face Athletic Bilbao who also secured a victory after defeating the strongest team in La Liga Valencia. This was also unexpected as they were able to win at Valencia's home ground indicating they were better prepared than Valencia. This clearly shows the away team's strengths and they deserve to advance.

In the next round they will face Atletico Madrid which we know will be quite fierce. Atletico Madrid is currently in good form so Bilbao will continue to improve to be better prepared for the next round.

It didn’t take a long for Lookman to scored goal and assisted on his debut for Atletico Madrid, it took him only 37 minutes to score for his new club. You may think that the player will take some times before he can register goal for his new club, but I do not see Lookman as a player who will struggle to adapt to the new environment, he did a good job to registered a goal and assist on his debut, and I hope he can score more goals in his new club.
