I don't think that Simeone is afted winning any title, he is only after maintaining the strength of the club till any season that they're strong enough to fight for the title. Lookmon did excellently well and I hope he can add a big impact on the team attacking line. We all know the favorite spot for Atletico on the table.

Everything is about mentality and if they, Atletico Madrid, can have the right mentality there's nothing they can't achieve. For sometime now they have been their games in the Laliga so if they remove their minds from just surviving to be able to play in the UCL, I don't see why they can't compete for the title. Yes, it is true that we can never blame a player. If every player in the team is able to play at the same pace, then the result of the match will never depend on one player. However, we have seen some decisions and some counter-measures by Kylian Mbappe, which put a lot of pressure on the team.

The relationship between each player in the Real Madrid team is not good with each other. If every player in the team did not play for himself, but went out to play for the team, then maybe Real Madrid would not be in such a position today. Agree. In the past we have always seen madrid as a strong team. They are not dependent on any specific player. But this season the scenario is different. Madrid has become badly dependent on mbappe. I am sure that if Mbappe is absent in a match, it will be  very difficult for madrid to win. This dependence is very risky. Madrid  will start losing points as soon as Mbappe gets injured. A club as experienced and strong as madrid should never base  their strategy around just one  player.

I have doubts about Kylian Mbappe, and I have doubts about his long-term position at Real Madrid. We can see how Real Madrid has fallen apart since he arrived and how the team has been divided. In such a situation, no manager can bring Real Madrid back to form or its old form. We have seen three managers since Mbappe arrived, but the results are the same. Ancelotti and Xabi Alonso were certainly talented, but they also failed with this team. Now Arbeloa is struggling with this team, it remains to be seen whether he will succeed or not.

Barcelona is a team that is certainly managing to do very well with the great players that are in the team, as for what needs to be done, we don't know, they need to see carefully what to do with some players who aren't performing very well but i think that's a temporary thing, and i don't think this is something that will remain like this, but they will manage to stay there in my opinion or they will do everything to do so.

It actually looks like we are going to watch a Barcelona - Atletico Madrid matchup in the Copa del Rey. Probably Simeone won't lose at home in the first leg but I don't feel good things for them in the second leg.

About the other semi final matchup between Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao I'm not sure. They are really close teams in the La Liga now. I wouldn't be surprised with any outcome. I don't even expect the winner to reach the trophy anyway.

Exactly, if Real Madrid utilize their players aside from Mbappe, they will have more goals and move faster in performance. However, considering the way they are currently playing, they mostly end games with few goals, which means their opponents might equalize and even beat them. Real Madrid have to change their strategy and be more serious about putting more pressure and scoring more goals in the league. That might help them gain something at the end of the season, but if nothing changes in their performances, I think they will finish this season with zero trophies.

Barcelona will clearly win against Mallorca due to their strong form. Furthermore, this match will be held at Barcelona's home ground. And we know Barcelona is undefeated at home this season. Barcelona will give everything they have to win this match for the enlarge of the points gap with Real Madrid. I predict Barcelona will score at least three goals against Mallorca.

My biggest problem concerning Real Madrid is the coach. I know that some young coaches are doing well in some clubs. An example is the inexperienced Vincent Kompany, who has been maintaining the standard of Bayern Munich. But I doubt if Alvaro Arbeloa has such tactical skills.

Kylian Mbappe has been doing his best, but he also has limitations. Let these key players drop their individual sources and focus on how to bring back the glory of the former Spanish champions. They will keep struggling unless they get a good coach or restructure the team to be more effective. Some players need to leave, while others on loan should be recalled.

So, I conclude from your statement that Real Madrid's current poor performance is due to Mbeppe? Were the two previous coaches fired because of Mbeppe? I'm confused by your statement that a team is bad just because of one player. This is very unfair. In fact, I see Mbeppe not failing at Real Madrid. Madrid bought him to score goals and he continues to score.

I think it's the coach's job to manage player egos. When talking about player egos, we can't just look at Mbeppe but also the egos of other players. The coach's purpose is to embrace all players so they can play as a team. If they fail, then the coach has failed not the players. So now let's look at Real Madrid under Albeloa's ability to control all players so they can follow his instructions. The key to team strength is playing as a team not as individuals.

From the perspective of the situation that Real Madrid is in at the moment, they must have a good management to overcome such a situation. Real Madrid is constantly moving in a negative direction, of course, if they want to come back, they must think about the positive aspects and improve their position. I was saying same thing that he might adapt quickly and in less than how many days of joining Atletico Madrid he had made his presence known to many, this might be the beginning of a new style of play for ATM who knows, with them playing more of defending but mixing both styles together attacking and defending at the same time. Lookman is a player that shines anywhere he goes with his style of play he is noticeable. I don't think Atletico Madrid are not changing style of play all because of one man, especially not under Simeone. He has been known to be a defensive minded coach so I don't see no possibilities for changes although the game against Real Betis was a good one, they did well by scoring 5 goals, this is something unusual for them but it's a good thing that they won with a huge goal margin.
Betis losing at home like was surprising , I expected a decent fight, I expected them to challenge better or even draw since they are the home team but it sure wasn't their day.

The 5 goal scored by Atletico Madrid yesterday at the Copa del Rey Quarterfinals was a statement well written by the atletico side to show their commitment and determination to winning the trophy. If they are able to do this, they will be so happy as all their efforts and investments on the new players like Lookman will not be seen as an effort in futility. A 5 goal victory is one which will continue to give the club the pride and confidence to strike more in their next two games. Now Barcelona, Athletic Club, Real Sociedad and Atletico Madrid are the clubs playing the semifinals. It will really be interesting to see who plays against the Barcelona guys but if it is not going to be atletico Madrid then I’m very confident they will go to the finals because they can easily beat the rest of the clubs remaining. Kudos to Lookman for scoring a goal in his debut match and I think he’s made a good decision to be here and in a midst of young players who are working hard to make the club proud.

Definitely, you are right that Spanish giants Atletico Madrid came home with a 5-0 win over Real Betis in the quarter-final match of the Copa del Rey yesterday. In fact, after qualifying for this round, I noticed that Atletico Madrid have a huge challenge ahead of them as they face a club like Barcelona in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final. Even if it were the case that Barcelona and Atletico Madrid were able to participate in this Copa del Rey final, i think that game would have been the most interesting. However, at this stage, it seems  to me that Atletico Madrid are somewhat relaxed because their new player i.e. former Italian league player Edemola Lookman, is playing very aggressively, so maybe he will be more confident in the upcoming semi-final match against Barcelona.

Atletico madrid's squad is not weak either. But even then, they lag behind in the title race every season. The team is not able to perform well consistently. La liga is quite competitive. If  they want to compete  for the title with two giants like barcelona and Madrid, it is very  important to continue the good performance. If the performance is  irregular, it is not possible to survive in the title fight. Anyway , Atletico madrid needs a manager who can  boost the confidence of the players. Otherwise , it will not be possible for this team to become champions.

I don't think it's a problem when Madrid give Mbappe what he's doing now because his job is to score goals. This is not much different from what was done in the past when Zidane gave a special role to Criatiano to score goals and in the Ancelotti era the burden was given to Benzema.

Letting Mbappe look superior in scoring goals is not a bad thing because that is his job.
What's a little off is how erratic their form has become due to a number of things including internal issues and the adaptation of new players and coaches. But it's only a matter of time because Madrid must have considered it from the start and now they're just giving Arbeloa a chance before they get a new coach who's ready for the job and ready to manage the players better.

Ademola Lookman has always been a very good player and I am so happy that he finally moved to a club that's fits his status. He has had issues with his manager at Atalanta and I think he was not treated well, despite the fact that he is one of their most important players,  so moving to a bigger club, just tells how good he has been performing.  I am also very happy that he scored on his debut. I am really expecting a lot from him and I am very sure that he will do well and also improve the team.

While that is true, he had issues with managers and even as a whole club with Atalanta, and it is also true that he had a great first game, we have to also remember that he had 1.5 seasons as a great player and that's it, nothing more. It's really hard to judge a player out of just 1.5 seasons in his career and he has aged since that moment as well, it's been over a year since that time.

So I would say it's going to be tough to judge how good Lookman is, maybe he is great and maybe he is not. They are using him so far and first game was great, if he has 10 games like this, doesn't need to score or assist but just overall play decently for 10 games, we can say that only problem he had was with Atalanta, if he starts to be bad, then maybe the problem was bigger.

Mbappe is actually good, but some people always put the blame on him when the team is not in a good condition. They forget that, even if Mbappe is the biggest and strongest player in the club, regardless of how good Mbappe will be only him won’t score or win a match. It must happen through the help of other players, but people don’t really care to know about that, everything is not albiut 1 players, it’s a team work and they must do it if they want the team to be good.

Madrid need to put in more effort if the fans want to see them at the top, and win the la Liga title this season, but their current performance can’t give them that.

Jokes apart, Real Madrid is not doing too bad this season and I'm wondering why everyone have written them off already. Could it be that you guys expected so much from them and as they are not flying high yet, a feeling of disappointment have taken over? The fact is that Real Madrid can still win the La Liga as well as the UEFA Champions League this season. They are just one point behind Barcelona which clearly shows that the league is not over. Secondly, they can qualify in the Champions League playoffs and go ahead to win the trophy.
