Kudos to Lookman for scoring a goal in his debut match and I think he’s made a good decision to be here and in a midst of young players who are working hard to make the club proud.

Ademola Lookman has always been a very good player and I am so happy that he finally moved to a club that's fits his status. He has had issues with his manager at Atalanta and I think he was not treated well, despite the fact that he is one of their most important players,  so moving to a bigger club, just tells how good he has been performing.  I am also very happy that he scored on his debut. I am really expecting a lot from him and I am very sure that he will do well and also improve the team.

No doubt, last night Ademola Lookman made impressive debut with Atletico Madrid at Copa del Rey match scoring one goal and make one assist, playing since the early until 74th minutes Lookman has impressive performance on left winger position and has amazing goal scoring after successfully outwitting two Real Betis defenders. I think many fans happy seeing Lookman debut without need more longer time has quite time for adapting well.
Now waiting Lookman contribution at La Liga match where Atletico Madrid face the same opponent team Real Betis, just difference for this time Atletico Madrid will playing home and its great chance for Lookman to show his performance in front of the Atletico fans.

Lookman didn't just score, he also assisted. His touches and link-up play with teammates were good. He also missed a couple of chances, but overall, I think he did well based on the little time he had to train and bond with teammates. Honestly, I didn't expect Lookman to be part of the starting eleven. I thought he would be introduced as a second-half substitute. To start the match sends a clear message that Simeone thinks highly of him.

Tomorrow Barcelona are going to host Mallorca. What an easy game on paper right? Mallorca are like one of the worst teams with only 5 points collected in 11 away games.

It should easily be a 3-game winning streak for the home side as a result. They have won all of their 10 home games so far by the way.  

Meanwhile Real Madrid have an away one against Valencia. I appreciate Valencia's home record. They haven't lost for many weeks there. But I think it will be the end of the road this Sunday.

I also think the outcome of these games is a foregone conclusion. But we have an interesting pairing just one rung below: Atlético Madrid plays Betis, and Villarreal (which are practically vying for third place) plays Espanyol. It's unlikely that Betis and Espanyol can threaten Atletico and Villarreal in the fight for the top four, they are more likely to be busy establishing themselves in the European Cup zone, but these will still be interesting games.

Earlier I saw it on Sofascore like it was going to be Real Sociedad facing Barcelona in the semi finals of Copa del Rey. But it turns out they wrote it wrong interestingly.

Instead it is going to be Barcelona against Atletico Madrid... There are going to be 2 legs in this stage. The first leg is at Atletico Madrid's home. Even though I adored their incredible effort against Real Betis I still favour Barcelona to eliminate them.

Mbappé is indeed a great player and always scores a lot of goals. But it's certainly a shame that even though Real Madrid has many good players, they often fail to capitalize on their chances. They often pass to Mbappé, who ultimately capitalizes on them. Barcelona has players who always appear more confident in front of the opponent's goal, which ultimately results in goals being scored, and not just focused on one player.

But in my opinion, Barcelona and Real Madrid players have their own unique style, and they are certainly the best in La Liga right now. Now we'll see whether Real Madrid or Barcelona will perform better in the upcoming matches.

Mbappe is a phenomenal player and scores a lot of goal, this is a player that just having him in the team gives you an advantage over the others, i am truly convinced that there is no player so technically strong currently who can do what he does at this moment and he is proving it to everyone, this guy is incredible.

He is the only one who is leading Real Madrid forward. You may disagree with my opinion but the fact is that he has contributed immensely to almost every victory this season and is the top scorer in La Liga so far. He has scored 22 goals in 21 matches, including several hat-tricks. Although he has other good players in the team, they are not performing as well as he does.
Many analysts believe that without Kylian Mbappé, Real Madrid will be a much weaker team this season. In fact, we have seen how badly the team has been performing and losing points due to his injury in the past few matches.

In the next round they will face Atletico Madrid which we know will be quite fierce. Atletico Madrid is currently in good form so Bilbao will continue to improve to be better prepared for the next round.

This victory is important above all for their desire to do well, Athletic Bilbao is a team that is strong but not too much and i think there is little that can be done if Athletic is in perfect physical shape i see it very difficult for them, obviously if everything goes as it should, nothing can ever be taken for granted

I am not Spanish but I'd be curious to know from a local Spanish person how much the Copa del Rey is worth to them.
Our Coppa Italia isn't highly regarded in Italy, i was curious to know on a scale of 1 to 10 how much is worth to a Spaniard.

I don't think that Simeone is afted winning any title, he is only after maintaining the strength of the club till any season that they're strong enough to fight for the title. Lookmon did excellently well and I hope he can add a big impact on the team attacking line. We all know the favorite spot for Atletico on the table.

Everything is about mentality and if they, Atletico Madrid, can have the right mentality there's nothing they can't achieve. For sometime now they have been their games in the Laliga so if they remove their minds from just surviving to be able to play in the UCL, I don't see why they can't compete for the title. Yes, it is true that we can never blame a player. If every player in the team is able to play at the same pace, then the result of the match will never depend on one player. However, we have seen some decisions and some counter-measures by Kylian Mbappe, which put a lot of pressure on the team.

The relationship between each player in the Real Madrid team is not good with each other. If every player in the team did not play for himself, but went out to play for the team, then maybe Real Madrid would not be in such a position today. If Real Madrid is able to fix these aspects through proper management, then maybe we will see Madrid's old form again.

Agree. In the past we have always seen madrid as a strong team. They are not dependent on any specific player. But this season the scenario is different. Madrid has become badly dependent on mbappe. I am sure that if Mbappe is absent in a match, it will be  very difficult for madrid to win. This dependence is very risky. Madrid  will start losing points as soon as Mbappe gets injured. A club as experienced and strong as madrid should never base  their strategy around just one  player.

I have doubts about Kylian Mbappe, and I have doubts about his long-term position at Real Madrid. We can see how Real Madrid has fallen apart since he arrived and how the team has been divided. In such a situation, no manager can bring Real Madrid back to form or its old form. We have seen three managers since Mbappe arrived, but the results are the same. Ancelotti and Xabi Alonso were certainly talented, but they also failed with this team. Now Arbeloa is struggling with this team, it remains to be seen whether he will succeed or not.

Barcelona is a team that is certainly managing to do very well with the great players that are in the team, as for what needs to be done, we don't know, they need to see carefully what to do with some players who aren't performing very well but i think that's a temporary thing, and i don't think this is something that will remain like this, but they will manage to stay there in my opinion or they will do everything to do so.

It actually looks like we are going to watch a Barcelona - Atletico Madrid matchup in the Copa del Rey. Probably Simeone won't lose at home in the first leg but I don't feel good things for them in the second leg.

About the other semi final matchup between Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao I'm not sure. They are really close teams in the La Liga now. I wouldn't be surprised with any outcome. I don't even expect the winner to reach the trophy anyway.

Exactly, if Real Madrid utilize their players aside from Mbappe, they will have more goals and move faster in performance. However, considering the way they are currently playing, they mostly end games with few goals, which means their opponents might equalize and even beat them. Real Madrid have to change their strategy and be more serious about putting more pressure and scoring more goals in the league. That might help them gain something at the end of the season, but if nothing changes in their performances, I think they will finish this season with zero trophies.

Barcelona will clearly win against Mallorca due to their strong form. Furthermore, this match will be held at Barcelona's home ground. And we know Barcelona is undefeated at home this season. Barcelona will give everything they have to win this match for the enlarge of the points gap with Real Madrid. I predict Barcelona will score at least three goals against Mallorca.

My biggest problem concerning Real Madrid is the coach. I know that some young coaches are doing well in some clubs. An example is the inexperienced Vincent Kompany, who has been maintaining the standard of Bayern Munich. But I doubt if Alvaro Arbeloa has such tactical skills.

Kylian Mbappe has been doing his best, but he also has limitations. Let these key players drop their individual sources and focus on how to bring back the glory of the former Spanish champions. They will keep struggling unless they get a good coach or restructure the team to be more effective. Some players need to leave, while others on loan should be recalled.

So, I conclude from your statement that Real Madrid's current poor performance is due to Mbeppe? Were the two previous coaches fired because of Mbeppe? I'm confused by your statement that a team is bad just because of one player. This is very unfair. In fact, I see Mbeppe not failing at Real Madrid. Madrid bought him to score goals and he continues to score.

I think it's the coach's job to manage player egos. When talking about player egos, we can't just look at Mbeppe but also the egos of other players. The coach's purpose is to embrace all players so they can play as a team. If they fail, then the coach has failed not the players. So now let's look at Real Madrid under Albeloa's ability to control all players so they can follow his instructions. The key to team strength is playing as a team not as individuals.
