These are finally some true words about Real Madrid. Except for a few scenes throughout the game, which Real Madrid will always have of course because of their individual strength of some players, their overall game is not fun to watch. I miss those days when they showed some serious dominance and controlled the midfield and the passing game with Kroos and Modric. You could literally feel how they had it all in their hands and played top level football. Now it is like waiting for that one long ball all game long that either Vinicius Junior or Mbappe can hopefully score or they need a penalty to decide a game. Sometimes, teams within and close to the relegated zones are always the most difficult to win. They might have shown poor form from the start of the season but, knowing that every one of their fixture comes with points that might determine if they stay in the league next season, they do their most to stay compact at the back while attacking with pace at the front.

It's things like this that sometimes make the situation a little more complicated. Atletico played with almost the same line-up as their previous game against Betis but they didn't perform like they did last week.

In terms of the build-up and how they utilized the space I thought they were very good but there were a lot of moments when their focus was split and that's what made the situation not quite what they expected.

Real madrid have been dominating the game since from the first half and they deserve the wining game, madrid just need to improve there performance to start o finish the match since from the first half the way Barcelona are doing real madrid always struggle to win matches but what is important pass is the three point and they achieved it and they continue chasing the league table with Barcelona. With how real madrid are performing currently that show that the players don't like xabi Alonso in the team that is why the players don't contribute very well in the pitch this season.
