Real Madrid finished the 23th week of the season strong by defeating Valencia 0-2. In my opinion, Valencia is strong. This is evident in the first half, as Real Madrid failed to score against Valencia. In the second half, Real Madrid managed to score against Valencia through Carreras and Mbappé. In my opinion, Real Madrid should have scored more goals against Valencia. Considering the league standings, Real Madrid and Valencia are significantly different, as Valencia is close to the relegation zone.

I watched this game at least completed the first half and part of the second half when Carreras scored his goal. Honestly it was a bad playing style from Real Madrid and wasn't like any that could be said they were playing against a relegation zone side. Real Madrid didn't dominate the game going by the unmatched level of their opponent which made the first half to end in goalless. What made them to win that game was just that they were against a poor side who are one of the teams with the poorest performing record in the La'liga this season.

Real Madrid played dangerously until the final minutes, constantly risking conceding a goal. However, Mbappé's second goal in extra time eased their worries. Losing points this week, especially with Barcelona securing three points, would have been the worst thing for Real Madrid. After the emphatic win Atletico Madrid got during their mid week game against Real Betis at away, I was hoping that they will continue with the slaughter this weekend especially as they were playing from home. I never imagined that Real Betis were coming to get their revenge. It's really unbelievable that a team that scored 5 goals against same opponent in the Copa del ray couldn't score one goal today. It was really shocking to me. Atletico Madrid has failed to score in two consecutive league games and that's disturbing.  

A huge win with the score of 0–5 misguided many punters about this game while bookies also put Atlético Madrid as hot favourite with the odds of @1.5 these were understandable after having big win at Sevilla.

In this crucial game at Madrid, Betis were on good run while Antony only goal in 26th minute made big difference. Atlético Madrid's attack was completely clueless throughout game despite having enough chances, now it's time for them to change their strategy from defensive mood to attacking because this can give them better results.

Betis is doing good but sadly still their chances are not good for having spot into top 4, their difference of points still enough but with consistency and better performance, they can perform well in upcoming rounds.

Currently, Real Madrid's performance even though they achieved maximum results at Valencia's home ground their weaknesses still come because perhaps the playing pattern implemented by their current coach cannot be fully implemented by Real Madrid players so in my opinion even though they achieved good results of course for Arbeloa it still needs time to be able to do it because it hasn't even been a season since Arbeloa became a coach because every coach needs one or two seasons to provide the best performance for the team he coaches especially Arbeloa currently will not fully become a permanent coach of Real Madrid because the management is still looking for a coach who can lead the team as happened in the hands of two cool-handed coaches, namely Carlo Ancelotti and Zidane.

Yes, the performances are very inconsistent but he continues to win. Just imagine if Real Madrid started to have stable and serious performances: Barcelona would practically eat him for breakfast.

On the other hand Real Madrid won against Valencia 2-0. However I wasn't convinced enough with their game. The first goal barely came after 60'. The last one was scored by Mbappe in the stoppage time.

Their game just isn't attracting as Hansi Flick's at Barcelona.

You watched it? And you say Real Madrid didn't dominate the match? Look at statistic I, and it should clearly show that Real Madrid dominated the ball and controlled the pitch. Meanwhile, Valencia played more defensively, had little forward movement, and lacked any cutting edge in attack.

So, on what basis do you say Real Madrid didn't dominate?
