Honestly you stated a good reasons for predicting Atletico Madrid to be the winner, because with their strong performance against Barcelona in Copa del ray semi final, you'd have full hope for them to defeat Rayo Vallecano easily. But the reverse is the case because Rayo Vallecano defeated Atletico Madrid, and not only that, they kept a clean sheet 3-0.

One thing I noticed between Rayo Vallecano and Atletico Madrid this season is that, they're both in the same roof. Because this season whenever Rayo Vallecano is playing against strong team they always pulled out an impressive performance but struggled against weaker team and this implies to Atletico Madrid.

Atletico Madrid suffered a huge defeat, in my opinion. Hardly anyone would have bet on them losing. Despite their opponents going through a tough period, Atletico not only failed to beat them, but they were thrashed 3-0. For me, they were the biggest disappointment of the day.

I think it may just be okay and the time for the owners of Atletico Madrid to let Simeone go, the club is in a desperate need for new and fresh ideas, he cannot be coach for this long, and also with the quality of players in the team and still struggle to maintain a consistent performance in the league. Just two days ago, Atletico madrid won 4-0 against barcelona. Everyone had high expectations from atletico madrid today because they  were able to win by dominating  against a strong team like Barcelona. But we saw a terrible performance today.

Rayo vallecano managed to score two goals in the first half. In the second half , we were waiting for madrid's comeback. But Atletico Madrid could not score any goals in the second half either. That's not a reason(Atletico Madrid didn't start with the main players) for the loss. The 3 points of the match has being recorded for Rayo Vallecano. Let the coach give this flimsy excuse to the management of Atletico Madrid, let him see what they will tell him, whether he did the right thing or not.

Is it not stupidness that you won a tough match with good scoreline, only to later lose in the same way with the many goals. That's madness. The level of inconsistency is to high for this team as they can not even keep a winning streak. This was the team that defeated Real Betis in the Copa de Rey a game that ended with a 5 goals to nothing and came back at their own home to lose to Betis again with a 1 goal defeat. Again after winning against Barcelona in the Copa de Rey first leg, with a 4 goals to nothing, now they came back to lose against Rayo Vallecano, with the margin of 3 goals to nothing. This is quite embarrassing to the fans and all their support. Hope they can win the Copa de Rey, because it is their last hope for this season.

I don't know what will be the reason for this lose like why they lose because recently they defeated Barcelona with an extraordinary performance, but now they failed to get the victory against those teams who are at the bottom of league standings. I didn't understand the logic behind it.... Anyway, if we talked about the match them probably the match was quite competitive because both team delivered a tussling football. Ray Vallacno were bit heavier in terms of attempts in shots despite Atlatico Madrid were possession dominator but still unable to get the victory....

I don't think if Someone is more concerned of any other league or competition, except for the chase of the Copa de Rey. For now he doesn't have any hope for any other competitions because chasing them will automatically be a waste of time and even tend to make the team lose focus, so the only way to solve this problem is to focus more on winning the Copa de Rey, and I think this is what he is trying to achieve for this season. The result tonight is one of the problems I have with Atletico, they win matches they were not expected to win and lose or draw those they aresupposed to win thereby making it difficult for people to chose them in betting. How can a team that just won Barcelona four goals to zero come this weekend and lose three goals to zero to Rayo Vallecano.  This defies all logic and it increase my fear for the club.
