I reckon Barcelona is getting one step closer to win the La Liga. As long as Madrid is gonna miss another full points, then i think they is winning it. There are still 12 fixtures remaining, and they have 4 points gap to Madrid. Who knows Madrid may lose points to the Celta Vigo in the upcoming game.

Most clubs this season have being performing unpredictabily this season, including even the bigger clubs, you can imagine what Manchester City played today in the premier league even with a leading goal at early stage, their still could not be able to win the match against Nottingham Forest with a 2:2 scores and now Manchester United is being defeated by Newcastle United, both in premier League, so expect anything to happen in the match La Liga have not really been different from premier League in team performance.

Barcelona’s loss is a perfect example of what happens when you gamble too much.. They actually stood the chance to hit the 4-goal comeback but as usual, Barca has a major problem with wasting opportunities, even though that was just partly. Yes you are right, Barcelona mistake was to allowing Atletico Madrid to score four goals in the first leg because they were too relaxed. Barcelo is wonderful team which likes to control game with much of correctness in passing and much of scoring chances, but they mostly lose important matches due to their failure to strike back at other team when it is fast.
Although they are very confident in playing and appear to be in order on field, and modern football requires more physical power and running which they do not always give mostly when they are playing against rough teams such as Bayern Munich or Liverpool. Their past failures have also made some brain block where players become likely to panic in case things go wrong. To make it to final of champions league Barcelona can not simply rely on their beautiful style of play but they have to be strong minded and learn how to play tough and hard games when their pretty game is not working.

I think with the current situation,, Barcelona has a clear chance of winning La Liga. The current significant points gap, coupled with Real Madrid's declining performance due to Mbappé's injury,, will certainly limit Real Madrid's chances of winning. Therefore, Barcelona is indeed the most likely to win again this season. Real Madrid will likely struggle to recover from their slump.

Atletico Madrid defeat in the second leg was expected and its qualification to the final match was obvious in my opinion. Barcelona is better than them. Atletico Madrid were just lucky that Barcelona was weak in the first leg.

Atletico Madrid in this season managed to beat Real Madrid and Barcelona in direct matches even with big wins but they don't have enough good consistency in this season, that affects their rank in La Liga so far. At least Atletico Madrid already went to final match in Copa del Rey and will play against Real Sociedad while in La Liga, they are at a third position with same points as Villareal at the fourth point. Their position in top four is quite safe and secure as Real Betis at the fifth position has 8 points less so it's low chance for losing a position in top four to Real Betis.

Barcelona are strong, have very high quality player resource together with an experienced head coach but in this season, they have performed very inconsistently which is a terrible factor for their chance of going far in UEFA Champions League. In that high competitive league, only one bad match can destroy a season like in the last season, Barcelona made great impression but they lost in semi finals to Inter Milan. It can be repeated in this season if Flick and his players won't perform carefully and well enough.

I agree with you that is too early to concluding anything, because in a game of football anything can happen. We have seen in so many instance where something can go wrong very fast and the team favored the most to comes out on top sometimes didn't perform as expected, but regardless of that, Barcelona presently are the most favorite to win the Spanish La Liga because four-point lead it's not a small gap to close down, unless Barcelona on the other hand threw it away themselves.

With what I have seen so far, I believe that Barcelona will claim more points from the twelve games remaining than real madrid, so I believe that on current form of both teams, the laliga title race is Barcelona's to lose.

I also think the same as you, Barcelona is the strongest candidate to win the trophy because, considering Real Madrid's current condition, it certainly seems difficult to beat Barcelona. I am still thinking in clarity what should have pressured the Real Madrid club to take the quick decision of laying Alonso off his duty so suddenly. I know the El Classico match between them and Barcelona During the Supercopa Cup was a trigger but I still did not expect it was going to bring the sudden decision of pulling the guy out of the team like the way we witnessed it. Twelve rounds is a lot, we have already seen once how Real managed to overtake Barcelona even with only a few rounds left. La Liga is a very competitive league, so a lot can change in 12 rounds. Considering the low odds of 1.28, I personally wouldn’t place a bet on Barcelona to win the title right now, even though they are currently four points ahead of Real. Since i started supporting Real Madrid this is the first time i am seeing the team is not serious and I think it is time for all the board members should leave their positions for people who can do the right thing, firing Alonso is not a bad idea but they should find a good replacement for him immediately, Albacete makes history against Real Madrid by when Arbeloa was appointed as a coach, Real Madrid lost to Getafe at Santiago and also lost to Osasuna, Arbeloa did not deserve to be Real Madrid coach.
