Yea, Mallorca was able to utilize their chances to get those two important goals. They played defensively all through in order to prevent Real Madrid from easy penetrating their defense easily. Mallorca did well in this match and it was very commendable to see how they stopped the giant Real Madrid from prevailing against them. They have been playing quite well and I really commend them so far but how they were not able to defeat Mallorca was something one would imagine over and over again without getting the right answers to it. I keep saying it, teams that are fighting to remain In the main league should never be underestimated because the momentum at which they play is always at a top level especially when the season is coming to a close.

And not forget that it's one thing for the team, and a different thing for the players, if they go to the second division, it means most of the times carreer over if you're on a 5-year contract and 23 or higher and you get sent to play in secunda, there is no chance for you to make it big anymore, you're bsically destined to mediocracy forever.

Most teams only care about qualifying for the Champions League but it doesn't end in qualifying but strengthening the team to be able to withstand the pressure of the tournament, Villarreal wasn't strong enough that's why they were among the worst performaning team in the competition.

Coming to that game last night I felt Barcelona should have lost that game because the way Atletico Madrid came all out in that game was impressive that Barcelona wasn't stable to take charge of the game. Barcelona was luckily and my friend would say that they favored Barcelona in that game that was why it went Barcelona's way. I can't wait to see both teams play again in the champions league, yesterday was a warm up game but the champions league game would be more interesting than the la Liga game of yesterday.

The game was very tough yesterday and I never expected it to be that tough because there last meeting Barcelona played them like shit but yesterday was different maybe it was because it is their home ground they wanted to impress their fans but it was quite unfortunate for them yesterday though even with the red card they still tried to hold the game and Lamine Yamal had a lots of shots but almost all of them were been blocked and goalkeeper also tried for Atletico Madrid. No one was favored in that game, the referree was very fair.

For me the red card killed the nature of the game and the red card that was shown to the Barcelona player was suppose to stand because that challenge was reckless for me, too hard on the Atletico Madrid player but the referee changed the decision of giving the red card. Atletico Madrid did everything right and without the red card it would have been hard for Barcelona to control the game to the extent they did, honestly speaking Atletico Madrid us a brand new team as we see them because they didn't mind if they are one man down, the kept putting more force to get a goal. For Yamal he's not as good as we thought he I, there are games he'd be over good on the field and there are some you'd see him doing nothing to help the team, for me nothing special about him and the hype he gets isn't necessary at all and if you hold him down that's the end of his football for that day but he had to enjoy the game because ATM was with a man down.

I think Real Madrid chances of winning the La Liga trophy are over after their loss to Mallorca. After losing to Mallorca the points gap with Barcelona widened, especially with Madrid facing Barcelona in their remaining match. So, Madrid focus is now solely on the UCL.
