Real is not playing good, they don't deserve to be champion. This might be the end of road for them. If they can't find second goal in last 10 minutes this season is over, not mathematically but logically. Girona defended well whole game, they just need a couple more minutes to get a point from this though away game.
Mbappe was the only player carrying the team. This will be his 4th game in a row without scoring. That sums up Real's season.

really, what is going on with real madrid?

they’re playing girona at home, and they look more like an average la liga team than real madrid. they’ve already lost their last two matches -one against mallorca and the other against bayern munich-. if they drop points in this match as well, it will be the second time this season they’ve failed to win three games in a row. i didn’t expect such a poor performance from real madrid in these matches.

i think they’ll keep playing like this, and barcelona will widen the gap in the league a little more each week.

it's almost the 80th minute in the match and it seems like madrid is not going to score. girona even had some chances in the last few minutes.

It's a shameful draw for real madrid. I don’t even know the exact direction the team is going this season, since sacking Alonso, they never get everything clear because the team is losing it’s value, they are not competitive enough this season. They can’t defeat Girona after the Champions League defeat against Bayern Munich in the same Santiago that is a home for Real Madrid and their fans.

After this draw against Girona, Barcelona is already six points ahead of Real Madrid with one match to be played, and if Barcelona wins their match against Espanyol, they will be nine points ahead of Real Madrid which will makes  it difficult for Real Madrid to cover up with this inconsistent performance.

If you are surprised that Real Madrid played 1--1 with Girona at Santiago Bernabeu, I am not because since Real Madrid lost to Mallorca and also lost the La Liga title race to Barcelona, I knew that they won't be serious with their remaining matches this season, and since they are traveling to Allianz Arena next week Tuesday, they won't play at their full strength against Girona, so the draw was expected by many who knows the situation of Real Madrid.

Damn over for Real Madrid. I couldn't imagine that Real Madrid would draw at home against Girona, when they have loss in their previous match against Mallorca, allowing Barcelona to top them with 7 points.

Barcelona will never let that happen, instead of Barcelona see Madrid snatch the title from them is better they lose their Champions League games, they will try their best to keep controlling la Liga as the number 1 team on the log. Now if Barcelona lose 1 or 2 games or even lose 1 and draw for Madrid to switch positions with them, do you think Madrid can even win their games to head back to the number 1 spot? Brother the Madrid I'm seeing now only have time to mess up, even if you give them 5 chances of staying at the top they'll still look for a way to drop point, imagine how Girona held them to a draw at half time and the second half they was leading but the poor defense made it easy for Girona to have one back and the game ended in a draw. Another season for Real Madrid to end with no trophy. This is not the Real Madrid we all know. Hardly a season ends when Real Madrid dont get to win 1 trophy. If it is not the League Cup, it is either the Champions League or the other Spanish cup, but unfortunately, Real Madrid has lost its glory. Sometimes it not about having top players in the team but rather about the mentality of the team, just like Liverpool, Chelsea, and some underperforming teams in European football, the Real madrid players happens to be mentally exhausted and this is obviously affecting the results they are getting.

They have to be motivated going into the second meeting away from home at Germany. It not even about them traveling to Allianz Arena next week, it not about the champions league game but the team lack quality. You can’t be in a title race especially at this time of the season and be dropping points to teams like this at home especially after that champions league performance. Winning a game gives you the right mentality to go into the next game, this is a team who wants to do a comeback against Bayern Munich.

For me, since the beginning of the season I have not seen Real Madrid as the favorites to win the league, I’m not a fan of the squad they have now, I don’t see quality in it. A lot need to change in the team if they want to be considered a serious team and if they want to challenge for major trophies next season.

Real Madrid performance is not good, after this match I strongly believe that Real Madrid won’t be able to win this la Liga this season. Here we go again, I was Waiting since the Bayern Munich game to actually see who will bring this stats out and here it is Mbappe getting blamed again for this downfall, yes I can’t disagree that since the return of Mbappe from injury that Real Madrid have been struggling but putting stats like this up is just simply to ridicule Mbappe in opinion because why wouldnt you even start from the period when he got injured but why not go back a little while before his injury, why was that stats exempted because it shows how Mbappe help his team and club.

Correct, I have actually been thinking about it this way,  Real Madrid didn't even played the mat h like they really wants to achieve victory in this match, seriously the Girona should have been an easy win club for Real Madrid, I was expecting them to return back with thoer fully with energy and consistency after thier very poorly performances in champions league, but the aim was actually not there, all the chances they had were wasted easily and freely.
