Nothing hilarious but he will bring beauty and balance to any side he eventually signs for completely. I've always thought he'd be the Sergio Busquet replacements they never had.
I believe with this Rodri signature most likely to happen, Barcelona will most definitely win the Champions League competition in the next two seasons. If they fail to won it this season, then they will win it next season. Real Madrid though couldn't do too much after that change of mind from Rodri.

Barcelona over the years once had the best midfield in the world, they were 2 in number and worked together hand in hand and not to forget they also had great forward players. Now you think them adding Rodri will automatically give them the champions league, lol. It just funny to me, you're forgetting that to be champions, Barcelona has to play various teams from other leagues,not just other teams but top teams from various leagues, I don't think they can withstand that very pressure. The league games are way different from champions league games that's why they have found it difficult to win the champions league than the league. I can beat my chest and say that Barcelona is not going to win the champions league this season.

Real madrid have always signed the “quality” players but the only quality shown in the field has been from barca, all the galacticos madrid has ever formed barca had its way to break it apart….. from ronaldinho to Messi to Yamal barca have always had weapons to stop madrid in any way possible. Now is not any different, the players are signed every year but no team has reached the top stage in only one year so all these signings are not going to bring some revolution, they are just gonna be ordinary transfers..

You are right that after the transfer window opened, Real Madrid have added players according to their needs and their preparation is much better than the previous season. This season will not be as easy for Barcelona as the previous season because Real Madrid will play more competitively and Mourinho is very active in solving the problems of the team. I have not been able to find out from any source how interested Real Madrid is in taking Rodri. This issue has been discussed recently. i agree with you; even though real madrid has been superior to barcelona in terms of squad quality for years, barcelona has almost always had a player who could give real madrid trouble. but there’s another side to this: while a good player wins games, a good squad wins trophies.

Seeing comments like this stuns me, coz Madrid actually tired all they could but Rodri just wasn't interested in joining them..Of course Madrid know how well they need a player who can be able to control and also defend the midfield from their opponents... But then again they wouldn't hold, drag or force someone to join them if the individual isn't interested in doing so..Madrid was very serious about getting him, they were even ready to offer €60m to get him, which is way bigger than what Barcelona even is offering him... With the kind of moves Real Madrid is making this season, they really mean business. The funny thing about Real Madrid is that they won't rush, and aside from that, they might even end up winning the LA Liga because that is what they are known to do because it hasn't happened once. In certain instances, they even have better players than Barcelona, but you will still see Barcelona win, so let's hope that this season is different.

As a defensive midfielder you are probably talking about Rodri. He is an important player in the Spanish team and very reliable. If Real Madrid tried to get him it would be possible for them but I think Real Madrid don't need a defensive player with the players they have already signed. They have got players suitable to play in the right back position, left back position and center back position so I think Real Madrid probably won't try too hard to get him.
