Of course. Every player has to think about the team to perform at their best. Thinking about the team can lead to good performances, because players who think about each other can result in more goals. Morin knows how to play with quality players. Now all he has to do is use his experience to ensure these players work together harmoniously.
Mourinho is known for being a manager with strict rules, but to manage different people with different thoughts and with similar but still different lifestyles you need to have a strong fist. In my opinion it is a good compromise especially for Real Madrid which is a particular team, where it suffered because the players acted autonomously, ruining the team, Mourinho from this point of view could make Real Madrid return to the team it deserves. It is not yet clear who is responsible for the arbitrary behavior that has led to this bad situation at Real Madrid, but it is true that two coaches have had to be changed since Ancelotti left office. Now Mourinho is reshaping the team and his actions seem quite positive and the fans will have to wait longer until the tournament starts. A coach has to live within strict rules if he wants to manage a team. This is not the place to evaluate friendships or personal relationships. From a professional point of view, everyone has to behave responsibly and anyone who does not follow this discipline should be warned. Chaos will arise in an organization when there is no discipline within the team. This is exactly what happened with Real Madrid, someone may be breaking the discipline, as a result of which the expected results are not being achieved. Now Mourinho will restore discipline to the team through his professional duties, which is what the fans expect.

I used to have this same eagerness of seeing how a team will perform probably after signing new players and preparing for the next season. The excitement to watch the likes of Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Luis Figo, Samuel Eto'o, it was always a delight to see this guy's handled football, the magic they always bring to the game, but nowadays hence the yeas are going by, you just see regular players that are not too exciting to watch. If it was some years back with the caliber of players Madrid have gotten, it will have been on a whole different level, the energy these guys would have brought, but now it's just regular kind of play, or I should just accept the fact that the kind of players that we had during the era of Ronaldinho might likely not be seen again.
In modern football, it is no longer about the players as it uses to be again, because football has evolved past the level of individualistic play, now it's more about the manager, because you may have a great squad of players, but if the coach is not that good tactically, the team will be less effective and efficient like a team that has a very good coach in charge of affairs. So I believe that this season, the spotlight will be more on Jose Mourinho and hansi flick than any of the real madrid or Barcelona players. Real madrid have made a couple of acquisition that will greatly strengthen and improve their team, while only the addition of Rodri to this Barcelona team will go a long way to complete the Barcelona midfield, but with the quality of both teams, I am confident that they can both compete for the laliga title this upcoming season.

I will have to disagree with you a little bit, football then was not individualistic, we had footballers that were exceptional without a doubt, the people that watched Maradona will tell you that they have not seen a player that could match the level of brilliance maradona had in football, people are dragged to come to the stadium just to watch a single player perform because he's exceptional, this same Real Madrid Jose Mourinho is currently coaching don't sign average players, they are always in line to sign exceptional players, that is why they are called the galacticos, it is the formation of classic players, but over the years we've seen a drastic drop in the exceptionality of players. The reason why they still call Ronaldinho for commemoration and memorial games is not because of the fact that he was an average player, he was a magician, people are ready to pay extra ticket just to watch this guy play, the club makes extra money from adverts and ticket sales, that's what I'm talking about.

This may be one of the reasons he was chosen to be Real Madrid's coach, because the majority of their players don't act morally, and adhering to Mourinho's rules will only improve the team's performance. We want nothing less than the best from Mourinho because we will hold him accountable if Real Madrid doesn't do well, so he needs to do what is required of him, and it is good if Madrid does well next season.

I no longer expect anything from Jose Mourinho, mif you have followed him recently around the clubs he has been appointed, you will see that, this is exactly how these players and the environment act so seriously like they want to win all of the trophies they're competing for but all of a sudden, all these momentum slide away. I have simply seen him as a manager responsible for bringing this sqaud together and it will be beneficial to the next two managers who are in charge of Real Madrid. They should be the one responsible for winning the Champions League not Jose Mourinho. I no longer fall for all these eye services, he will have to put in work or get sacked.
Mourinho has actually been unable to bring noteworthy results for several years even by changing teams. Consequently, it is difficult to imagine that things could go differently at Real Madrid. However, we are talking about a Real Madrid, a team totally different from the one he coached before. A strengthened team with players of a completely different caliber. So the difference could be notable.

One thing that I believe is worth considering is the fact that, Mourinho’s recent struggles doesn’t necessarily translate to the fact that he’ll fail again at Madrid. Of a truth, his recent experience and results over the past few years hasn’t been what we can say to be good, especially since moving from one club to another hasn’t helped or made any positive and notable changes either in bringing back the success he enjoyed previously in his career. However, I don’t know why, but I do have a feeling that Madrid would somehow present a completely different challenge, because the club itself is filled with high level players and I believe they’ll suit his approach much better than the previous.

Yes I would agree with you, the coaches have the bigger responsibility to play for the success of their team. Before I used to think that sometimes when teams don’t perform well it’s not just the fault of the coach but of the players but after the World Cup and seeing how Spain played, it has gone to prove that a good system is far better than a collection of Superstars Studded in a team. Coaches have to discover the playing style and tactics that works best for them and the players they have or buy players to fit that role like Pep Guardiola normally does; he doesn’t buy players anyhow just the ones he needs. Barça are reinforcing their team while Madrid are rebuilding, let’s see how the new season unfolds.

There's a here we go for Ferran Torres not quite long and he was also given the green light about travelling to pass his medical with PSG. With this move finalised, they're without a central forward or anyone who can do that right now. If no single player is brought in then, we're seeing Hansi Flick promoting one of the finest strikers from their academy.
With Ferran Torres having been transferred to PSG and no other striker signed yet, and with the transfer window set to close in just two weeks, I still don’t understand what Barcelona’s actual plan is as the league is about to begin. Promoting players from the academy to replace Lewandowski doesn’t convince many people that it’s a viable solution. I really hope Barcelona signs a quality striker before the transfer window closes so their front line can be formidable. Otherwise, I doubt Barcelona will be able to win the title because their goal-scoring output will drop without a top-tier striker. After all, relying solely on academy players isn’t enough, they lack significant playing experience and will certainly struggle in big matches.

There is no team that's going to entertain disrespect, I haven't seen it anywhere. The only person I have seen in Real Madrid that has tolerated that level of indiscipline is Xabi. Perhaps he doesn't like their behavior and there was no way he could make the players comply due to the president involvement with the team, he can't act on his own and it is going to be even more disrespectful if he set a standard and the club owners want it to be run like he wants. Did you not see the Buz created around Vinicious? Is there any player that had that attention in football transfer this season like him? Imagine how it's going to sound of Xabi told him to do something and he refused and he tries to take a disciplinary action against him, you think he is going to comply? What of Mbape that is the Supreme leader, you think he is going to agree to discipline, they feel bigs. But I think they will gladly work with Mourinho without any problem.

Mourinho is always like this right form his early days of managing career. Strict rules, tight control and no room for slacking some players adapt into it and some others hate it. The only danger is when results don't start showing fast. then the strict rules start to feel like punishment and the dressing room can turn against him. He had the issue of slow progress in Man U. But again he has done it before and it worked, but that was with a different generation of players. Today's squad might not respond the same way. But if Madrid eventually start winning, everyone will praise his methods. If they struggle, the players will start showing serious attitude. That's just how it goes with him.
Many people have lower their expectations for Mourinho this season. Many people do not see him as best manager in the world due to the results of his previous teams. In the last two clubs he managed, Mourinho didn’t win a single trophy. When he was sacked from Fenerbahçe, the club failed to qualify for the Champions League, and the same thing happened before he left Benfica after last season. People will start to praise him based on the results we see next season. However, I have seen some comments from Real Madrid fans after their last two preseason games. Many of them are saying Vinicius performance was very bad, I didn’t watch the two preseason matches, but from his ratings after the game, Vinicius was not at his best. I don’t think we should use that to judge him for the new season. I believe that he will play at his best for Real Madrid, especially after reaching an agreement for a new contract. Regardless of Mourinho's past records, he is still one of the best managers that will perfectly fit into the situation of the team presently, and probably he doesn't have the right talents to help him implement his ideas in those teams but when coming to Real Madrid, he needs to know that, there are expectations and also there are pressures from everywhere so if in any way, his ideas or philosophy needs improvements to fit in to the modern football, then he should do that but if that's not the case, he is the best man for the job and he will definitely need time to implement his ideas in the team. For this coming season, I won't expect any fan to put more expectations on them, even though they can still perform well, but the least they can do as a team is to show signs of improvement in this season and I believe players like Vinicius will perfectly fit into the structure that Mourinho is going to be building in the team.

Barcelona at that time were one of the best teams in the world and there was no way to break their dominance with simple or soft tactics. Mourinho's mentality brought an extreme hunger to win and an aggressive spirit within the Real Madrid players. As a result of this tough compromise, Real Madrid regained the La Liga title, which is one of the greatest achievements in the club's history. At that particular time, the presence of a strict disciplinarian manager like Mourinho was truly essential to save Real Madrid from destruction and return them to the winning track.

That is, both are starting their new journey, now the question is how much success can Madrid achieve this season among all the other strong teams, or will they fail like the last 2 seasons. But I also think they will show a very good comeback now, since the team has improved a little more than before, so now the only thing to see is what kind of improvement in their performance on the field we will see, their journey will start on the 23rd against Espanyol.

Yeah, I do think so too. I think both Madrid and Mourinho do have a lot to prove, so they’ll have to use this season to prove whether they can actually help each other to turn their recent struggles around for the better. Madrid has a very quality squad and that’s enough for them to feel optimistic, and as good as that is, what will really determine if that’s good enough and if it’ll be a successful one would be their performance on the pitch, so I guess we just have to sit and watch how this unfolds.

Luis Suarez who plays for Sporting Lisbon linked as posted by Fabrizio Romano. Although I can not vouch for him to be successful because I have only seen in play once and that was against Bodo Glimt in the Champions League competition last season. But if they have identified him as the perfect replacement, he will want to join them. As long as he can do the basics and play to flicks instructions he will most definitely succeed. The arrival of Rodri is what I look towards the most. He will be responsible for every trophy and game they win. I don't know where I read that news but the three promoted clubs into La Liga including Malaga, Deportivo La Coruna and Real Santander will not be relegated, will you also agree to this prediction?

Mourinho has actually been unable to bring noteworthy results for several years even by changing teams. Consequently, it is difficult to imagine that things could go differently at Real Madrid. However, we are talking about a Real Madrid, a team totally different from the one he coached before. A strengthened team with players of a completely different caliber. So the difference could be notable.
Mourinho is indeed a coach whose quality is beyond doubt. However, if Real Madrid’s goal is to win titles in the domestic league and the UCL, we shouldn’t get our hopes up too high right away. Because even though Jose Mourinho has many achievements, he has only managed to lead the teams he coached to UCL titles in the 2003–04 season and the 2009–10 season and those two teams were Porto and Inter Milan. Meanwhile, during his previous stint coaching Real Madrid, he only managed to lead the club to domestic league titles, specifically La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Supercopa de España. So I don’t think we should get our hopes up too high, because even back then, Real Madrid was just like it is now filled with exceptional players.

I believe Mourinho's way of coaching is the right one. Then in practice and in matches it may not always give the best result, but when you play at certain levels you must also be able to train at a decidedly more intense pace than that of a lower category team, especially to keep the players prepared for the various competitions.

Going through the thread, everyone is talking about Mourinho and the discipline he would bring to the Real Madrid dressing room, but why is no one talking about the tactics? Why is nobody talking about the way they would actually play football? Discipline and a strong hand alone are not enough. He needs to have a playing style that will bring out the best in every player. There will be no point if the squad is united and disciplined but doesn't play well. I don't doubt Mourinho's way of handling a dressing room; I doubt his coaching ability. In all the other clubs he has been in since he left Madrid, what his teams lacked was not discipline, but a superior style of play. They have not played particularly well, and no matter how he handles the dressing room, if they don't play well and dominate, there will always be trouble in the dressing room. He won't be given a lot of time. The pressure to win will start from the first La Liga game. If he doesn't impress from the beginning, the confidence of the team and the players starts to drop, and that can be a problem for him.
When it comes to Mourinho's coaching ability, I must say, I'm not confident about it. I've seen him in various clubs, and I have not been convinced by what I've seen. I can't think of a club where Mourinho had two good consecutive seasons since he left Madrid. Even in Roma, where he won the Conference League, the next season he was fired. The only thing that gives me a little confidence is that he has a lot of quality players in his squad, and with his experience, he can put them to good use.

Sometimes such a method is good but sometimes it is also possible for the opposite and the proof is that Mourinho is no longer in a top team or a top European league in the last few seasons before becoming Real Madrid coach so I am not too optimistic about Mourinho with Real Madrid even though with Mourinho's experience he should not be underestimated but it cannot be overestimated either.

Did Kompany have good seasons before he took over at Bayern? How good was Ancelotti at Everton before coming to Real Madrid and winning 2 Champions Leagues? I think you are too biased towards Mourinho, in football, not everything depends on one person, plus Mourinho never suffered from cherry-picking and did not look for the easiest job for himself. As for how Real will play, we will talk about it at the end of the transfer window, but it is obvious that it will be a faster, vertical football than football based on possession. This is one of the reasons why Rodri chooses (try) Barcelona over Real.

But just as this is a new beginning for José Mourinho, so is this a new beginning for Madrid. We have seen José Mourinho's failures in recent times, we have also seen Madrid's failures in the last 2 seasons. So now coach José Mourinho has to prove himself and Madrid has to start a new one.
They have the team, the have a good manager, it actually look like the want to rebuild a team or is that what it is? In my opinion that's what it is, Mourinho is very much aware of this, despite how unsuccessful Mourinho has been in some of the club he coached in the recent times, he knows that the role handed over to him in Madrid is different, he has been provided with good players, more talents has been purchased too recently, I believe he has started doing his job the evidence will be seen when the league starts fully, one thing that I know is that Realmadrid will not be at the same condition as they were last season because we can see an improvement in the team already, though there's is still to conclude.
