I just read the news that some matches have been postponed. One of them is the opening match between Celta Vigo and Osasuna. Apparently, this situation is influenced by a fungal outbreak affecting the field at Estadio de Balaídos. The match has been rescheduled to August 27. Although Osasuna accepted the postponement, they still criticized the decision as being too sudden. It even seems that the decision was made without considering input from both teams. Osasuna and Celta Vigo proposed a postponement to September 24 or 25, but the federation still decided on August 27.

Going through the thread, everyone is talking about Mourinho and the discipline he would bring to the Real Madrid dressing room, but why is no one talking about the tactics? Why is nobody talking about the way they would actually play football? Discipline and a strong hand alone are not enough. He needs to have a playing style that will bring out the best in every player. There will be no point if the squad is united and disciplined but doesn't play well.
I don't doubt Mourinho's way of handling a dressing room; I doubt his coaching ability. In all the other clubs he has been in since he left Madrid, what his teams lacked was not discipline, but a superior style of play. They have not played particularly well, and no matter how he handles the dressing room, if they don't play well and dominate, there will always be trouble in the dressing room. He won't be given a lot of time. The pressure to win will start from the first La Liga game. If he doesn't impress from the beginning, the confidence of the team and the players starts to drop, and that can be a problem for him.

When it comes to Mourinho's coaching ability, I must say, I'm not confident about it. I've seen him in various clubs, and I have not been convinced by what I've seen. I can't think of a club where Mourinho had two good consecutive seasons since he left Madrid. Even in Roma, where he won the Conference League, the next season he was fired. The only thing that gives me a little confidence is that he has a lot of quality players in his squad, and with his experience, he can put them to good use.
Mourinho is the right coach for the job and Perez knew that which was why he has confidence in him and hired him for the second time to bring back those glorious days to Real Madrid in the Champions League.

You are sitting in your own country analysing Mourinho as if you know his weakness and isn't fit for the job. Real Madrid needs an old time experience coach to handle this young generation and Mourinho gat the game tactics too. He loves counter attacks.

Did Kompany have good seasons before he took over at Bayern?  Grin How good was Ancelotti at Everton before coming to Real Madrid and winning 2 Champions Leagues? I think you are too biased towards Mourinho, in football, not everything depends on one person, plus Mourinho never suffered from cherry-picking and did not look for the easiest job for himself.
As for how Real will play, we will talk about it at the end of the transfer window, but it is obvious that it will be a faster, vertical football than football based on possession. This is one of the reasons why Rodri chooses (try) Barcelona over Real.

Failing to get Rodri is the reason why I had a sudden change of mind about Real Madrid winning the La Liga title next season. I even fear they will finish below Atletico Madrid and Barcelona. I don't know who comes in now as replacement for not getting Rodri. I have read news linking Adam Wharton to Real Madrid, yes he has good technical capabilities and good with line breaking passes, but can he do a better job for Real Madrid than what Rodri would have done? That I can't say.

I think he is a staunch Barcelona fan and will never saying anything good about Jose Mourinho. But I fear Jose Mourinho is way past his best. I do not want to be critical of how he plays, I know these special players will most definitely show up and win games.

Mourinho is known for being a manager with strict rules, but to manage different people with different thoughts and with similar but still different lifestyles you need to have a strong fist.
In my opinion it is a good compromise especially for Real Madrid which is a particular team, where it suffered because the players acted autonomously, ruining the team, Mourinho from this point of view could make Real Madrid return to the team it deserves.

We all know that discipline is Mourinho's hallmark, and there is no way that you will work under him and not act morally because I am aware that he has rules that you must abide by. This may be one of the reasons he was chosen to be Real Madrid's coach, because the majority of their players don't act morally, and adhering to Mourinho's rules will only improve the team's performance. We want nothing less than the best from Mourinho because we will hold him accountable if Real Madrid doesn't do well, so he needs to do what is required of him, and it is good if Madrid does well next season.
The manager in charge is responsible for the success or failure of a team. There is a kind of chaotic situation among the players at Real Madrid. If this chaos continues for a long time, the team will have a worse situation ahead. In such a situation, Mourinho was needed and the Real team management made the right decision by signing him. He was reappointed after careful analysis and here, of course, his previous tough attitude was taken as an example that it is safe to give him responsibility and he is needed for the team to improve.

Real Madrid have Bellingham, Valverde, Guler, Silva, but from what you say, it seems that if Rodri is gone, that's it, the party is over. For example, Kroos admits that Rodri is a world-class footballer, but he believes that the Valverde-Silva duo will replace the Modric-Kroos duo.
In general, it seems to me that this was all a subtle game by Real Madrid - first they dragged Barcelona into the story with Alvarez, then into the story with Rodri. Any of these transfers could be fatal for Barcelona, while Real Madrid is already doing well.

Mourinho has had success with Real Madrid and he is a top coach who has also had success with several other teams. Mourinho's performances have been good in some teams, but that still can't guarantee Real Madrid will succeed in stopping Barcelona's dominance this season domestically. Sometimes I like the style of play that Mourinho builds for his team, but in some games I also get bored with it. Being in the squad that Real Madrid have this season can obviously help him to build a good performance, but I'm still very curious if everything will go according to plan.

This season La Liga is certainly more interesting to look forward to, especially for El Clasico matches. Real Madrid is likely to be the main favorite as the title winner, but Barcelona also has a mission that is no less important is to win the title 3 times in a row with his coach.

Mourinho is literally the best manager for Real Madrid, but if he fails, he will have to follow the way of Xabi Alonso and Perez will probably not be kind to anyone. Even experienced players can fail because a team's performance does not depend only on good players. Your ability to understand your opponent and their tactics and what tactics you adopt in response can be the main consideration.

Real Madrid is considered one of the strongest clubs in the world and historically this club is very popular with its fans. If the team fails to win a trophy this season, I am almost sure that Mourinho will be fired.

It seems like FC Barcelona have a thing for players named Luis Suarez. The first was a midfielder from Spain who won the Ballon D’or in 1960.
If they eventually get to sign this Colombian Luis Suarez, he’ll be the third for the Catalan giants.
This Suarez used to play for Granada in the Laliga, that’s where I first got to know him then he bounced around played Almeria too till he got to Sporting Lisbon and displayed his best. I think his performance at Sporting is why Barcelona want him, he’s aging but it seems he’s sharpened his skills. I don’t really think he’s better than Ferran Torres though.

Ferran was a higher quality player accordingly. Selling him and signing Luis Suarez might cause them problems in achieving similar quality. I think they need to get a better striker because Barcelona has been targeting big strikers. Of course, if Flick trusts him, Luis Suarez can also be signed. However, if they don't get good results, it will be seen as a wasted transfer. The competition in the Portuguese league is not the same as in Spain. Similarly, it's not the same in the Premier League, as we saw last year with Gyökeres' transfer to Arsenal.

Trust me if there's any manager worthy of this Real Madrid job right now, that manager should be Jose Mourinho yes he's the right person for this job at this very point in time, there was many young and experienced managers out there, but why do you think Perez chose Jose Mourinho? He chose him because he knew he is the right person for the job, with his experience and he knows how the team works, he's been there before, so he understood how the system works over there, trust me he's definitely winning them a major trophy this season, either the UEFA Champions League or the Spanish La Liga title.

Source: https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/celta-vigo-postpones-laliga-opener-030302043.html
I hadn’t read this information before. Previously, I didn’t understand why there were only six matches in the league’s opening round this season. But it turns out that the schedules for the other four matches were indeed rescheduled.

The four matches whose schedules were rescheduled include
- Valencia vs. Betis
- Madrid vs. Real Sociedad
- Celta vs. osasuna
- Barcelona vs. bilbao

And well, it’s not surprising that this was the reason. But honestly, the schedule has become too packed for the teams whose matches were postponed. Take Barcelona for example, they play on the 28th and then play again on the 1st.

Lot of comments I have seen lately has been all about blowing Mourinho trumpet.. For sure, I am not disputing his good managerial skill coz he indeed is very good at what he does, but let us at least wait and then make our comments after we start seeing results with Real Madrid..Madrid has already been very good at winning the Champions League, having more Champions League trophies wouldn't be bad either  Smiley.. There is also the Laliga title which Barcelona has dominated for two straight seasons...Let see Real Madrid performance this season and only then can I be really sure that Mourinho is the right manager for Real Madrid... Till then I will keep my fingers crossed...

When Jose Mourinho took over, he didn't have much opportunity to get to know the team because many players were at the World Cup. He's currently in the process of getting to know the players, and I think he's disciplined. Discipline is essential for some players, especially Mbappé. He's a star player and a very good player, but his undisciplined behavior is evident. He's very egotistical and self-centered. He needs to adapt to team play, and that's why the Portuguese coach was brought in. The president trusts his discipline.

From the reports, they'll likely sign the Columbian striker if they fail to get the signature of Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez before next midweek.

I don't think they want the Sporting player because he bears Luis Suarez but because he's very prolific and will most likely give them the perfect option they're seeking for in the top 9 role.

I haven't watched much of his Suarez's games but his statistics is convincing enough for a player of his age. We'll see how things pan out in the coming days.

I know José Mourinho as a responsible coach, so I believe he can definitely do it, I believe he can control the big stars and restore order in the dressing room and take Madrid to a level that Madrid has lost at the moment, and that is what José Mourinho has to find. And for this he has tried to make as significant changes as possible to the team, bringing in new talented players, which will help the team return to the old Madrid, now let's see how their journey goes.

Failing to get Rodri is the reason why I had a sudden change of mind about Real Madrid winning the La Liga title next season. I even fear they will finish below Atletico Madrid and Barcelona. I don't know who comes in now as replacement for not getting Rodri.

Real Madrid will still perform well this season even without Rodri in their midfield, and with the much improvement in this Madrid squad and additional signings they did this transfer window, you even consider thinking they could finish below Atletico Madrid? That’s something that seems unlikely.

Even if Madrid didn’t sign anymore Midfielder this summer, Mourinho can still manage the squad like this and perform well this season, the squad is very much better than last season and even last season they managed to finish second. Missing out on signings Rodri should not be a problem for Madrid.

This is going to be a huge disappointment for me as a Madrid fan.
Not only about hijacking at crucial times but with the presence of Rodri we will see Barcelona's midfield become more solid where Rodri, Dani Olmo and De Jong will be a trio that is quite difficult to conquer.

Rodri's composure in setting up the ball, De Jong in charge to open up space and help set the tempo with Rodri and Dani Olmo assigned more help in attack and move freely in the middle of the field it will be quite troublesome.

Rodri's presence does not guarantee Barcelona to secure La Liga but this is a very good addition for them to get a pretty good performance next season and I as a rival fan would certainly be very disturbed if this really happened.
The Madrid fans are going a little crazy over it. Yes Rodri is class. The world seems to be talking about him as if he is still 2023-24. He was then scoring goals and crashing into the box and doing everything. That guy had his ACL torn. Then spent a whole season barely playing. Then played a World Cup running on fumes and immediately needed back surgery. He is 30.

Barcelona will not receive a super hero. They are getting a really really smart midfielder who probably cannot play more than 25 games. And when he is not available, Barca goes back to a 19-year-old and a 22-year-old in the pivot. Think about that for a second.

Rodri is making Barcelona attack better. But he might be able to prevent the idiotic goals that Barcelona always seemed to let in. Their defense overperformed massively last season, like way beyond what they should have gotten away with. Rodri patches that.

Vini and Mbappe on the counter with a guy that reads and positions more than rushes with speed? I do not know. There is something there that could still be exploited. The Olmo thing is legitimate. That collaboration with Spain is quite scary and it translates literally. No warm up required.

This is going to be a problem though maybe in terms of competition at the moment Barcelona's midfield is quite competitive but with the arrival of Rodri (if so) this will see Flick get some options in their midfield due to some of the great names that are in their squad.

But looking at the conditions now I still breathe a little more relieved because in the last few News Manchester City still rejected the offer from Barcelona and this is still an advantage for me as a Madrid fan even though we know Barcelona's midfield is still quite solid but at least they don't add new ammunition to their future plans later especially now Barcelona still have no targetman and this can benefit the competition if you see Flick who always appears dominant with their targetman utilization scheme.

Madrid have a pretty good quality of quick counter-attacks but for now the quality of the attack still does not seem to look good because in some moments the pressure carried out in the counter-attack still looks too hasty but this season we have Bernardo who is expected to be able to regulate the flow of the ball in midfield although there are still no players who can be made a strong candidate as a successor Kross in recent seasons including now.

Deco is confused and think they can sign a Uruguay suarez but actually he is from Colombia and play in Portuguese league which is not big surprising and personally i don't like Luis Suarez to be in the Barcelona squad they have more options as well and actually the options is better than Suarez. Lautaro Martinez is the options osihimen is the best option but I don't know here is that's options goes if Deco think about Luis Suarez to sign him where is the other option goes. Personally I like Alvarez but of that's didn't happen sign something same as Alvaraz we don't need Luis Suarez cheap copy.

Barcelona can go to for Lautaro he is better than Luis Suarez and he is very well fit in the Barcelona system.  If Deco think to sign Luis Suarez I think it's better to give contract to Feran Tores he is the better option than Suarez. Trust me this guy Luis Suarez can't succeed in Barcelona color tactically he is not fit in Barcelona system.

I agree with you, I think Perez finally discovered that the Madrid team needed a well experienced manager. Since Ancelotti departed, Madrid decided to go for younger managers just like Barcelona, but it didn't work for them, since then they have not been at their best.

I don't know why fans are doubting such an experienced coach like Mourinho, liked you said, he has been there before, so it won't be hard for him to link up. Since Madrid has finally gone back to their old ways, I will be expecting them to win even more than one trophy, I want to see the old times Madrid dominance.

He actually got the transfers he wanted. Mourinho has fewer and fewer excuses. Now he will try to get the best out of his players. By creating variety in combinations and using different lineups and tactics during the match, he will be misleading and confusing for the opponent. In my opinion, Mourinho will achieve very good results with Real. I hope I'm not wrong and we see another good period.
