I just read the news that some matches have been postponed. One of them is the opening match between Celta Vigo and Osasuna. Apparently, this situation is influenced by a fungal outbreak affecting the field at Estadio de Balaídos. The match has been rescheduled to August 27. Although Osasuna accepted the postponement, they still criticized the decision as being too sudden. It even seems that the decision was made without considering input from both teams. Osasuna and Celta Vigo proposed a postponement to September 24 or 25, but the federation still decided on August 27.

Going through the thread, everyone is talking about Mourinho and the discipline he would bring to the Real Madrid dressing room, but why is no one talking about the tactics? Why is nobody talking about the way they would actually play football? Discipline and a strong hand alone are not enough. He needs to have a playing style that will bring out the best in every player. There will be no point if the squad is united and disciplined but doesn't play well.
I don't doubt Mourinho's way of handling a dressing room; I doubt his coaching ability. In all the other clubs he has been in since he left Madrid, what his teams lacked was not discipline, but a superior style of play. They have not played particularly well, and no matter how he handles the dressing room, if they don't play well and dominate, there will always be trouble in the dressing room. He won't be given a lot of time. The pressure to win will start from the first La Liga game. If he doesn't impress from the beginning, the confidence of the team and the players starts to drop, and that can be a problem for him.

When it comes to Mourinho's coaching ability, I must say, I'm not confident about it. I've seen him in various clubs, and I have not been convinced by what I've seen. I can't think of a club where Mourinho had two good consecutive seasons since he left Madrid. Even in Roma, where he won the Conference League, the next season he was fired. The only thing that gives me a little confidence is that he has a lot of quality players in his squad, and with his experience, he can put them to good use.
Mourinho is the right coach for the job and Perez knew that which was why he has confidence in him and hired him for the second time to bring back those glorious days to Real Madrid in the Champions League.

You are sitting in your own country analysing Mourinho as if you know his weakness and isn't fit for the job. Real Madrid needs an old time experience coach to handle this young generation and Mourinho gat the game tactics too. He loves counter attacks.

Did Kompany have good seasons before he took over at Bayern?  Grin How good was Ancelotti at Everton before coming to Real Madrid and winning 2 Champions Leagues? I think you are too biased towards Mourinho, in football, not everything depends on one person, plus Mourinho never suffered from cherry-picking and did not look for the easiest job for himself.
As for how Real will play, we will talk about it at the end of the transfer window, but it is obvious that it will be a faster, vertical football than football based on possession. This is one of the reasons why Rodri chooses (try) Barcelona over Real.

Failing to get Rodri is the reason why I had a sudden change of mind about Real Madrid winning the La Liga title next season. I even fear they will finish below Atletico Madrid and Barcelona. I don't know who comes in now as replacement for not getting Rodri. I have read news linking Adam Wharton to Real Madrid, yes he has good technical capabilities and good with line breaking passes, but can he do a better job for Real Madrid than what Rodri would have done? That I can't say.

I think he is a staunch Barcelona fan and will never saying anything good about Jose Mourinho. But I fear Jose Mourinho is way past his best. I do not want to be critical of how he plays, I know these special players will most definitely show up and win games.

Mourinho is known for being a manager with strict rules, but to manage different people with different thoughts and with similar but still different lifestyles you need to have a strong fist.
In my opinion it is a good compromise especially for Real Madrid which is a particular team, where it suffered because the players acted autonomously, ruining the team, Mourinho from this point of view could make Real Madrid return to the team it deserves.

We all know that discipline is Mourinho's hallmark, and there is no way that you will work under him and not act morally because I am aware that he has rules that you must abide by. This may be one of the reasons he was chosen to be Real Madrid's coach, because the majority of their players don't act morally, and adhering to Mourinho's rules will only improve the team's performance. We want nothing less than the best from Mourinho because we will hold him accountable if Real Madrid doesn't do well, so he needs to do what is required of him, and it is good if Madrid does well next season.
The manager in charge is responsible for the success or failure of a team. There is a kind of chaotic situation among the players at Real Madrid. If this chaos continues for a long time, the team will have a worse situation ahead. In such a situation, Mourinho was needed and the Real team management made the right decision by signing him. He was reappointed after careful analysis and here, of course, his previous tough attitude was taken as an example that it is safe to give him responsibility and he is needed for the team to improve.

Real Madrid have Bellingham, Valverde, Guler, Silva, but from what you say, it seems that if Rodri is gone, that's it, the party is over. For example, Kroos admits that Rodri is a world-class footballer, but he believes that the Valverde-Silva duo will replace the Modric-Kroos duo.
In general, it seems to me that this was all a subtle game by Real Madrid - first they dragged Barcelona into the story with Alvarez, then into the story with Rodri. Any of these transfers could be fatal for Barcelona, while Real Madrid is already doing well.

Mourinho has had success with Real Madrid and he is a top coach who has also had success with several other teams. Mourinho's performances have been good in some teams, but that still can't guarantee Real Madrid will succeed in stopping Barcelona's dominance this season domestically. Sometimes I like the style of play that Mourinho builds for his team, but in some games I also get bored with it. Being in the squad that Real Madrid have this season can obviously help him to build a good performance, but I'm still very curious if everything will go according to plan.

This season La Liga is certainly more interesting to look forward to, especially for El Clasico matches. Real Madrid is likely to be the main favorite as the title winner, but Barcelona also has a mission that is no less important is to win the title 3 times in a row with his coach.

Mourinho is literally the best manager for Real Madrid, but if he fails, he will have to follow the way of Xabi Alonso and Perez will probably not be kind to anyone. Even experienced players can fail because a team's performance does not depend only on good players. Your ability to understand your opponent and their tactics and what tactics you adopt in response can be the main consideration.

Real Madrid is considered one of the strongest clubs in the world and historically this club is very popular with its fans. If the team fails to win a trophy this season, I am almost sure that Mourinho will be fired.
