This Julian Alvarez case isn’t a first time situation, he’s not to blame for anything. The Atletico Madrid board and all others involved in dispersing information are all to be blamed including Diego Simeone, everybody is just after their own interests.

I believe there could’ve been proper negotiations or a way to make Alvarez stay without blowing it out of proportion. When Barça first got interested in Alvarez, what did they do? In my opinion, Elche never had possession of the ball at any point in the match. Barcelona dominated the game from start to finish. The reigning champions played like champions and secured a comfortable five-goal victory, claiming the league leadership. Their leadership from the first week once again demonstrated their strength. Among the surprise results of the first week, we can mention Atletico Madrid's draw. We should also add that Real Madrid didn't play as strongly as expected. The first goal scored by Raphinha was the deciding goal of that match because you could see that Barcelona became more offensive with their possession after the goal, hence the cause for more goals. Elche at some point got so loose and gave up on the game, they could not fight back for a comeback as more goals began flooding in.

Barca looks more composed than Real Madrid with the couple of games they've played but I still can't decide who the Champions would be with a couple of matches, also Atletico Madrid has shown quite some impulse with their performance and I think this season would be a lot more competitive than the previous season.
