All of these may actually be true because we don't know what's happening right now in football games, it's something that's everywhere, when you come to the premier league for some seasons now, the rate of bad officiating is high and when many fans want to complain, it always ends in online banter of "they are just looking for excuses". But in real sense, several teams have been robbed because of bad officiating and for the issue of not going to the VAR, that's the most annoying part, because that technology is there to make the game officials make the right decision but many times, the referee always refuses to go check the VAR, we know they can't see everything or make wrong judgements but not going to the VAR to be sure of your judgement is bad and it's feeling as if some referees already have their favourite before some games and will want to officiate in favour of such team. So I am not saying Real Madrid are not also guilty, but it's a universal thing now, poor and bad officiating everywhere.
