Anyone here tried to gamble in some Beauty Contest? Just like Miss Universe.
How was your experience in gambling with this kind of tournament, like the risk or greed?

Also, when you are betting in such beauty contests, how we can select the winner like the basis on it especially when the pageant is not yet started.
And what other possibilities games to bet in one beauty contest? Just like in basketball, there are A.) first half highest point, B.) Over and under overall total scores, C.) Odd/even total scores, etc.

If I were to consider betting in a contestant. The categories that I will definitely consider are looks, personality, and popularity.

• Looks - this would be the first one to be considered, not that you should judge immediately what is "pleasing" to you but we all have a different type of look that we would like to see to someone. Browse all the contestant's photographs and determine.
• Personality - if I had the time to really look into the contestants, I would check videos or background check on how they act normally, not because there is a camera pointed at them but how genuine they could be. Something like that.
• Popularity - this is an important category because I know this would determine the people's votes? Or depends on the contest. I'm not really sure but this is an important factor too.

Me too, I haven't tried yet. Since I am a little bit curious, and I googled it, there are some websites offering it, just like nitrogensports which I also saw here.

Yeah, I already saw that thread of bbc.reporter, but it was only on Miss Universe 2018 and more likely discussion on that event/contest only.
I would love to hear some experience during gambling with these kinds of contests since I am curious how will be the feeling, especially the excitement or hype when you are looking forward to your bets.

i have heard simillar betting on the past and they are rare to find because not all sites are being able to include them it may because of thier difficulty where less people do have the guts to bet on them     .

  there are many contestants and its verry hard to pick if who will be the winner because the judges can also have thier own choices  . you cant just choose if who do you think are beautiful because sometimes the winners are not that really beautiful ( not to be harshed here )

the gambling should include top 5 or top 10 picks and so own , for a better chances of winning and to attract more bettors  .

I have not bet on one, but i have been involved in one as a contestant. From my little experience (as it was a contest within my locality). The most important thing is your carriage and personality.
Then your overall looks; height, face, outfit etcetera.
Then how much you can win the crowd over: your popularity. In a local competition most people might not really know you till that night. But in. A global one with different stages you can easily look up the contestants.

I never really thought of betting on beauty pageants. I think it's a lot of work to get to know most of these contestants every year but if I were to do it one day, my major criteria for choosing would be Popularity and Wittiness.

I think betting on a beauty contest is not a real gambler betting but it can be a good one for relaxing after betting in our favourite events.In these competitions not always the most good looking woman is elected as Miss World for example as this is something relative,what is beauty for me may be not for you and thus it makes winning money on such event even harder.

NEVER had a chance of betting for gambling in beauty pageants since this is not a normal in my area though I would be happy if I find someone who can bet with the criteria or part that can be considered per Bets are

I wasn't aware that there are threads in that category but I'm thinking that I would like to participate. Maybe I'm not that fully interested back in the day, in those kinds of bettings, but right now, I'm interested. I just saw Baofengs post and that's just when I discovered that Nitrogensports offer it and bbc.reporter having a betting competition with it.

I'm not sure who to bet for yet since there are no contestants yet for 2019 that is announced. I just checked the miss universe website but no avail. [1]

Beauty gambling contests weren't that popular around. Most of the participants of these kind of contests were from the beauty industry particularly the models and other artists. They're the one who know better about valuating the scores of the contestants. It was fun watching the contest, everytime there used to be some incident at the time of revealing the final winners.

This kind of gambling contest would be interesting and exciting for men!
However, I don't know if I can personally bet on such a contest. I am sure that I am going to lose all my money. Every woman would look like a winner to my eyes so I couldn't decide which to choose.

I do, in fact I won my bet on the recent Miss Universe because I put my bet on Catoriona Gray to win.
IIRC, the odds that I get was around over 6.00, and I don't put a big amount actually as there's a lot of contestant and that gives me a little chance of winning, but thanks God I was lucky to win.

I don't also bet in other beauty competition, only when we have a representative in our country as that's more exciting, and in fact this kind of betting is just more on entertainment, can't take this seriously with the odds they offer.

Here you go and boom, you won. It's normal that the odds are quite huge since there's a lot of contestants. With that kind of odds, it is really hard to bet a large amount of your money.
On which betting website you bet and how many days before you placed your bet with Catriona Gray? Since as I remember before that there are already some rumors about some strongest contestants and as far as I know on Miss Universe there is some preliminary competition which you can also add that up for you for analyzing your potential winner.

Where do you bet on these? Seems like it would be quite an interesting contest to bet on since it's usually quite obvious who's the most beautiful.

Although I always fail in predicting the winners of such contests, I would like to try my luck this year with betting real money on the one I think is the best. I tried to google it, but it looks like no reputable gambling sites are accepting such bets. I may be wrong, but I think it is perfectly suitable for the freebitco.in's betting section. I'd surely bet on one of the beauties, if this option was added there.

Well you can basically gamble on anything that produces results. And i don't think gambling in beauty contests aren't common at all. From international pageants like miss universe to local competition, people are putting out money in it. And the competitors are also being ranked weeks or months before the actual competition so you shouldn't have any problem narrowing down your selection if you'll place money on your bets. Usually the top contestants end up as the finalists.

I would have liked to see also eloquence to be added to this list. Eloquence is about communication whatever the language the person is known with. Beauty without good communication is not complete as a pageant or beauty queen.
