That is exactly my point, the guy is just trying to work ahead of selling his token down, he might be a guru and might have known the concept of how satoshi created his coin, but he would be a fool to come publicly and then portray himself as satoshi when he is not, and this is obviously glaring that he is just trying to make some fraudulent project because someone who has not been sincere about his project from onset, what do you expect of him then, I think that people should juts ignore him for now and be very careful about whatever is released and then associated to him.

There is a coin that he mentioned in his article and that coin will never see the light of the day, because the name of the coin alone sounds scary and the fact he is from Pakistan, maybe all these terrorist groups tech man.

Recently, I came across with the latest crypto reddit trend from a self proclaimed satoshi. I have read the details and I did try to compare it to satoshi's writing style in here and it seems that their level of intellect is quite far. The guy behind this news is somehow using the numerology tho to explain how was the pseudonym "Satoshi Nakamoto" was created.

The funny thing as well is that this certain guy is trying to do it on a three part reveal. Most of the reddit users including me are expecting something to sell his new token release. Tho, I must say that still there can be good points here that a newbie can learn like Hal Finney's contribution to bitcoin creation.

I still can't understand to why fraudsters are expecting people from this community to believe in this. If they were really satoshi sending some signed message from satoshi's wallet can still be the solid evidence we should see.

I am interested with your thoughts tho.

I agree that moving the money or signing a message could mean something, whereas articles don't matter. This company that was a nobody in the world of blockchain just came up with a genius idea of minimum investments for a great popularity boost. I don't think the authors even expected people to believe, really, but they expected they'd become noticeable, and they got it. Look at all of us, having threads of discussions about some no-name. Even major news websites caught up on this one! But for me even signing the message would not be a final proof. It could mean that someone hacked the wallet somehow or accessed it because of knowing the real Satoshi. Honestly, I think for now it's pretty impossible for anyone to prove they are Satoshi even if it's true.

The funny thing about all these Faketoshi's are that they are trying so hard to prove that they are Satoshi and that the real Satoshi never tried to reveal his/her or their real identity. Do you think after what happened with Dorian Nakamoto and CW, it would be a good experience for anyone to go through to try and reveal your true identity?

The first people to knock on your door will be the tax authorities and the Federal reserve and then all the criminals in this world will start hunting you, because all of them wants to get their hands on those coins.  Roll Eyes

I agree with you Bitcoin has billions of dollar marketcap and Bitcoin is so huge that if I am the real Satoshi Nakamoto I will be afraid to reveal myself because of the dangers that are attached to being Nakamoto, you mentioned one example Dorian Nakamoto, this guy is very comfortable  telling all this story without thinking of the consequences.
This story will end with the guy promoting another version of Bitcoin just like what Craig did.

I think this is a good question to ask.

I seem to be a rare individual in giving people the benefit of the doubt, especially when they have put forward an argument and I have not been able to refute it. I have been looking around to see if anyone at all who has an opinion on the matter has a refutation of that numerology-based proof. The idea is certainly is akin to the way Bitcoin works and it seems difficult to arrive at the equivalences he has shown. (Yes, choosing the right lowercase letters helps, but still.)

Perhaps I am not very intelligent but I find it strange that all I can find is educated guesses, at best. I feel this relates to how people dismiss the personal aspects of these accounts (including Wright's). Say these people are right and they're Satoshi; you have just insulted someone who has opened up in public from your position of safety or anonymity (congratulations).

At the moment, the only reasonable hypothesis I have of the claim that this is a fraud is to imagine that someone with great literary skills has come up with this personal story, with numerology to boot, and then picked the random guy who registered thebcci.net back in 2008 as the main character. Any better ideas?
