Dont be fooled by the market

A friend of mine who is a holder of ethereum and xrp once told me he has lost confidence in the altcoins because it has nothing to offer and the altcoins always follow the suit of btc. The rate at which it is going down has brought fear to him. And I believe he is not tge only one thinking tge same way. If we are to open a floor for people to share their experiences and thought about altcoins, you will be amazed. But one thing I always tell him and I believe it goes for all those who share the same thought with my friend is that never lose confidence. This is not the first time altcoin market has done this. There is good days ahead and the market shows. I believe this is the time to buy and hodl more of altcoins like eth and xrp. Enjoy it while it last because it may be too late some days ahead.

Your friend has a valid reason to fear what's going on with the altcoin market. After all the price of Bitcoin has somewhat recovered from the debacle of 2018. And yet why are the altcoin market is still bleeding and not follow the trend of Bitcoin? The only thing that I can think of is that there are many people who have lost confidence of most of the altcoins, even XRP and ETH because it seems it can't even get to where investors are expecting it to be at this point.

In a nutshell, never be fooled by the market today. Look at the bigger picture and hodl for the future. Altcoins all tge way. I am for altcoins.

Of course, we need to think positive here and be patience on the altcoin market. I'm sure majority ouf us here has not seen how bleak altcoin would still be in 2019. So be optimistic and look for the long term benefit we can get from it in the next two or maybe three years down the road.

The life of altcoins are also up to the community who believes to it. If you are fooled twice, and you still hang on then shame on you.
ETH and XRP are top coins why would that disappoint your friend the market has been this way since 2018, he can obviously see the two are still on the top rank. The possible answer I guess is his patience to this altcoin bear market.

Confidence is a good thing, confidence should be backed by good. realistic arguments.
Stupid confidence on other hand could end you and make all of your  money disappear pretty quickly. I am not beting on ETH, there are some alt-coins or few niches of alt-coins in which I believe in but not ETH.

There are predictions that the altcoin market could be like this until bitcoin surpass previous ATH again but during this time, most of the coin will die, some might likely combine to generate trade volume if they can be sustainable. IMO it is important that some altcoins die to sanitize the space and bring confidence to new investors, we might also need regulation for crypto startup that demand project prosecution of its roadmap.

Your friend should understand that he hasn't lost unless he sells lower than he bought. Also, he should understand those two token aren't like others  because there is a reason why they have been at that position or rather unbeatable for a long time despite the market conditions.
Furthermore, should he try to invest in altcoins again do well to make him understand the volatility of this space as well as making adequate research so as to invest wisely. There are really good altcoins out there if one research cautiously and wisely.
