Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin?

For now, nothing ca replace bit coin. But we don't know the future. But as I see it. Bit coin is a currency. And currency is very hard to change example is the dollar. Does the dollar change since it has been made? Maybe the bill had change but not the currency. It is the same thing as the bitcoin. It is a currency, and the good thing is it is not only in a single country it's in the whole world that is why bitcoin is the most expensive currency in the world. It is used by many people. The only disadvantage here is at some places that ther is no enough technology to utilize the use of bitcoin we can't use bitcoin like if there is no internet or computer or cellphone on a certain place we could not use bitcoin there. But in some urban area bitcoin can be utilize and use as a medium of exchange. That is  why bitcoin grow big and it will be hard to replace by someother alt coin because it is the currency not only by one country but by the whole world. We can't see a country change it's currency. A country only change it's currency when it is colonize by the other country. I think for now no other alt coin can colonize the whole world.

I personally think people will trust what Satoshi has created more than altcoins till many years later.
Altcoins are created to make the developers rich. But bitcoin is different. Bitcoin was created in favor of us. So, no altcoin can be trusted as bitcoin.

The easiest answer is because Bitcoin is not yet fully adopted, if we are going to replace it now, those who are late coming in will be surprised that Bitcoin is not the number one coin anymore, and they will have a weak belief that Cryptocurrency can last long, when it should not be the case, and besides the top coins behind Bitcoin are not really decentralized compared to Bitcoin.

yes of course no one will ever be able to beat the price of bitcoin because altcoin is different from bitcoin, altcoin has a lot of supply and few users, whereas bitcoin has a limited supply and has many requests that will make the price very expensive and unbeatable.

bitcoin and other digital currencies should not be confused with an item. bitcoin is a currency, while television or a car or something else is an item or device, an item will be left behind if it cannot issue new innovations that are developing. but the currency will continue to be a currency. bitcoin is the first digital currency that in my opinion never will be unchallenged. like the example of the USD, the USD will not be matched with other currencies because the USD is a benchmark for other currencies, as well as bitcoin.

No one knows on what bitcoin isn't still being replaced yet in spite on being outclassed by most updated or good featured altcoins in the market currently.

But we can already presume that Bitcoin is king of crypto that's why its being mainly supported by the masses in spite of its scability issues.

We can't prediction about which one altcoin replace for bitcoin at the future, maybe have one altcoin next year get many investor have higher price could be replace of bitcoin, today still not have altcoin can replace bitcoin position, Bitcoin only one coin have higher price so far, many altcoin have lower price its why they can't replace of bitcoin.

by the way, the only reason why even until now , no one can replaced btc is because, people just believe what came first.
as we know , btc is like an outdated technology , compared to eth wich have smart contract system or another altcoins wich have sharding system, of course btc its like old guy.
but somehow, its seems doesn't matter to investor,they still like btc as before,they still trust the first crypto coin.

That's certainly true, mate. The main reason why altcoins haven't replaced Bitcoin yet, is because they aren't as decentralized as the pioneer cryptocurrency. Their lack of support within the mainstream world, has left them with a lesser degree of security and censorship-resistance than Bitcoin. Small cryptocurrency networks that are based on PoW, are easily attacked by outsiders. On the other hand, Bitcoin hasn't experienced a disruption on its Blockchain network (as far as I know) making it the number one choice among people in the mainstream world.

Of course, we cannot deny that altcoins have far superior features than Bitcoin itself. Nowadays, you can obfuscate transactions, store data on the Blockchain, and even send encrypted messages on different cryptocurrencies available on the market today. Despite this, Bitcoin is and will always be the leader of crypto because of its censorship-resistance and store of value properties. Altcoins would need to gain massive adoption within the mainstream world (aside from being truly censorship-resistant) in order to compete with Bitcoin. But it seems very unlikely that altcoins will become superior than Bitcoin, because of the aforementioned reasons.

Nonetheless, I believe that altcoins will always live alongside Bitcoin for many years to come. After all, most of them are simply "copies" of the original Blockchain (Bitcoin) which started this whole craze. It's impossible to take down the "Father" of Blockchain technology after a long time since inception. Just my opinion

I think, if in the end there is an altcoin that can explore all the desires of the market centrally with the adoption of a system that is always updated by reducing the level of complexity of usage, then a large economic traffic will come to them. Bitcoin will always remain the king because of its dominance in the market cap. Bitcoin was also most of us first word when we started learning crypto and also what most of us always buy first before we exchange it to altcoin.

I am happy that in your young rank you know Bitcoin is. That means bitcoin still on demand even if the value of it drops down for now. Also, Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency the reason why many people are still trusting on bitcoin because it is still here and they believe that bitcoin will still rise up again and they can still be able to earn a big profit on it. Exactly. Given that all cryptocurrencies use Blockchain technology, altcoins cannot replace the original cryptocurrency which started it all (Bitcoin). The original project will always be one step ahead of its copies no matter what. Altcoins may provide better features and greater transaction capacity than Bitcoin, but they're missing the branding recognition the pioneer cryptocurrency has obtained over the years. Bitcoin has real use cases within the mainstream world, unlike most altcoins being traded on the market today. Despite its high fees and slow transaction confirmation times, Bitcoin is still the most secure and censorship-resistant cryptocurrency today.

Which is why, I believe that no other altcoin will be able to replace Bitcoin in the future. Unless a new cryptocurrency comes up with a superior technology than "Blockchain", Bitcoin will remain as the "King of crypto" for many generations. Just my thoughts

The reason is simple, because it was the first cryptocurrency. It has the advantage of a pioneer that no other coin has, Bitcoin has ingrained in the minds of investors and even newcomers. bitcoin is way too much popular, every newbie steps into crypto world with only bitcoin knowledge. if any alt coin wants to surpass bitcoin, it needs to have some record breaking moves which can make it to the news and spread the word.

One possibilities I can see on how bitcoin can be surpassed by an altcoin is still the major advantage of bitcoin which is the huge demand and huge market adoption. How could it possible? With the big gap of bitcoin to altcoins, one good altcoin should be backed by a large community, a government, and social media. Through this, the legalization and implementation of a universal digital currency that will unite the whole world might surpass bitcoin as it will attack bitcoin on its weakness. It is the bitcoin's volatility.

In order to make this happen, that crypto should be a stable coin.

We know that there are some alternative tokens that have potential and already have a good price in the market but still, they cannot replaced bitcoin in the game. But there is also many problems associated with bitcoin, the first one and most important is higher transaction fees and high transaction confirmation times. Where as if we look at ethereum it is having minimal fees with lightning fast transactions and also it supports token that too in the same wallet, so to own many different crypto you just have to get only a single ethereum wallet.

Not really.. a pioneer doesn't mean can't be replaced. Just look at the internet search engine history where webcrawler , altavista and the latest well known one yahoo search engine was a pioneer .. but then completely replaced by the giant google until now.

It could happened in bitcoin too , where an altcoin with better use case and innovation than the current bitcoin has ... that time is just not yet coming , the community still find bitcoin as something that not yet irreplaceable with any other alt, this situation is temporary I'm sure about it. Soon the big things more than bitcoin would be invented . Time will tell us .

It will take great work from the core team for a particular altcoin to surpass or supersede Bitcoin on the market. Bitcoin dominance is about 70% of the entire market hence this tells how an altcoin would work hard in order to outweigh this dominance. We all know that bitcoin is the most used cryptocurrency of all, I can say that because for example you are going to invest in some projects and they are only accepting bitcoin as you share or if you want to buy their tokens. There are also different sectors here that you need bitcoin as a medium another example is that when you want to gamble they need bitcoins as your bet for you to be able to play a particular game in that gambling site. Altcoin are just a copy of bitcoin in which they have different platforms and features just like ethereum, it is known for their smart contract in which you dont need any lawyer if you are going to have transaction with other people. Bicoin is the most of all in terms of price and volume it is dominant than any other altcoins. Bitcoin mining also famous in here.
