Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin?

I think bitcoin has been one of the biggest innovations of the human in the past years. Many altcoins have been created after bitcoin. But none of  them have been successful as bitcoin is. Why is that?
Why no altcoin can replace bticoin?
Every new thing and every technology is usually replaced by a newer one as the world is always developing.

In this case, no one wants to replace bitcoin but only to supplement it, that is, bitcoin along with altcoins will exist for a long time.And the that will in the future I not know.But clearly 1 bitcoin will not remain.

Altcoin not available replace bitcoin price because have much supply than bitcoin, many altcoin have supply with billion coin and not available although you hold with long term with your altcoin but price never can replace with bitcoin, altcoin only have position under bitcoin and next time never have new coin can replace with bitcoin.

What happens is simple, Bitcoin is the leading currency, the only way an altcoin can try to compete with Bitcoin is:

1.- If the altcoin have a backrest based on gold, oil, precious stones among others.

2.-  Compare the altcoin when you are 10 years old.

After that time has passed and after having passed through some stages of the market such as accumulation and distribution, it is possible to begin studying its future and as a possible competition vs Bitcoin, apart from seeing what community it has and what technology it offers.

Another way to see and compare is if the new currency could reach a life of its own, that is, it does not depend on the price of Bitcoin, as is the case with all altcoins,

It is something very difficult to expect, because you need a coin with those characteristics and with history, in addition to having a life of its own, that is why the possibilities are minimal. Bitcoin will remain the King of Crypto.

That's because Bitcoin is the most decentralized and secure cryptocurrency till date despite having scalability issues. BTC dominance today is 66% and as far as I see Bitcoin will continue to rule in years to come.

Most of the altcoins we know and love today have a lesser degree of decentralization than Bitcoin. The reasons for this are many including but not limited to the type of consensus algorithm used, and supply distribution. Considering that most altcoins are simply pump & dump without any real use cases for the mainstream world, they won't be able to overcome the pioneer cryptocurrency anytime soon. With Bitcoin's market cap (and dominance) on the rise, the chances for an altcoin replacing Bitcoin becomes bleak over time.

Of course, there's still the possibility of another cryptocurrency taking Bitcoin's place in the future. If the alternative cryptocurrency manages to gain massive traction within the mainstream world while obtaining unparalleled security and reliability, it could become a fierce contender against the world's largest cryptocurrency by market cap. The chances of replacing Bitcoin becomes even higher, if an altcoin adopts a unique and revolutionary technology that's better than Blockchain itself. Nowadays, every cryptocurrency is based on the Blockchain one way or another. In their current state, they cannot defeat Bitcoin since they're using the same technology of the original project. A new technology which proves to be much more efficient and secure than Blockchain technology could completely change the whole scenario. But it could take years to see this happen (if it ever does).

Nonetheless, it's best for Bitcoin to remain as the "King of Crypto" while other altcoins follow its footsteps. After all, the crypto market depends on Bitcoin as its reserve currency. Everything moves with Bitcoin, and without it as the dominant cryptocurrency, things would change drastically within crypto land. In the future, there will be a reduction in the number of altcoins being used worldwide while a select few (like Ethereum and Monero) will survive a lifetime. All in all, it seems that an altcoin replacing Bitcoin is more of a dream than anything else. Just my thoughts

Many altcoin have lower price and keep higher for long term way its make never have altcoin can't replace bitcoin position. When bitcoin going down maybe altcoin keep lower price and never take back to be higher price than bitcoin. Until today no have altcoin can change position place bitcoin in number one on exchange market and have higher price.

All of us know about the developments made in mobile phones.

Every thing is being developed. Every device is finally replaced by a newer one. Why no altcoin has replaced bitcoin till now? Do you think it will happen in future?
I personally think people will trust what Satoshi has created more than altcoins till many years later.
Altcoins are created to make the developers rich. But bitcoin is different. Bitcoin was created in favor of us. So, no altcoin can be trusted as bitcoin.

Bitcoin was the pioneer of them all. It was the one that started the game and was able to keep up over the past decade of having new altcoins. It went from zero to hero specially on 2018 where its value reached $20k for a while but now that it is facing crisis, many are already starting to doubt it. Little do they know that bitcoin has been like this for so long, going down but then surprising eveyone after a while. I think that's the reason why no altcoin can replace bitcoin, because not every coin can survive after hitting rock bottom, bitcoin always does.

And what do Bitcoin have these characteristics?I think in general it is not necessary to compare cryptocurrency with Fiat money.They have diametrically different values.In this context, I also do not see any reason to compare bitcoin and altcoin. They also have different values that complement each other.And price and value are completely different concepts.

Most of altcoins just not survived even in one year after the launch. so its not even surprised me if altcoins unable to challenge bitcoin at the top of cryptos. But anything can be happen in the future. im still waiting for that moment to see bitcoin drop to the 2nd place on the market. Will be ethereum is the one?

I think because of the popularity why up to now altcoin cannot replace bitcoin. and also bitcoin is a pioneer in cryptocurrency people will never forget bitcoin because the first bitcoin if there is no bitcoin then cryptocurrency also does not exist. although in technology some altcoins have better technology than bitcoin. but altcoin cannot defeat bitcoin because they lose in trading volume, market capitalization, price and the number of communities. the decrease and increase of bitcoin is also a reference for most altcoins. so I think for the next few years there will be no altcoin that can replace bitcoin.

No. Even though Ethereum is the best Altcoin at the moment, Ethereum still won't be able to replace Bitcoin in the top coin rankings. For me, it was very impossible.

No. Even though Ethereum is the best Altcoin at the moment, Ethereum still won't be able to replace Bitcoin in the top coin rankings. For me, it was very impossible.

well eth is one of the popular coins  in CMC but with many issue .like token creation that can use to make an ICO and raised funds from investors. Before thats not a problem but now more people has been victim of a scam project created by eth platform. Thats why its hard for them to replaced btc because eth has thier own issue.

If bitcoin will be replace, that's will not serve their interest as they would lose also, therefore I don't think its possible to see it replace as long as the market is controlled by whales that they can manipulate it every time they like.
