ICOs 2019: A Year Of Success or Failure?

You have said it all, but however Ferrum Network conducted a kind of ICO this year and it was successful as it finished within hours. Also, within days they got their token listed on a good exchange too. The last time I checked, it was trading above ICO price don't know about now.
That's the only successful ICO I have seen this year others switched to IEO.  In addition, from all ramifications this year is the year of IEOs but depends on the exchange promoting it though.

It does seem that some scam exchanges are promoting scam IEOs (p2pb2b/coinsbit scammers are hell bent on promoting a particular coin which is probably their own creation and fronted by a fake outfit just in order to make money)

l wouldn't say that ICO has failed completely, yes indeed ICO is unreliable for the investor, but it can not keep going. There are still many ICO projects, which are very successful. That is right people instead of relying on them trust IEO, but this event will not live a long time, it will change in my view.

ICO may not totally profitable unlike from those previous years but we cannot deny that there are still good ICOs nowadays but only few to name them. Investors maybe are becoming wiser today so they do not easily invest in ICOs especially that the market is not really in a good condition at the moment.

From mid-2018 many of the ICO projects I follow, but many failures. I also experienced boredom because I could no longer make any money. If I summarize the crypto-to-date, many fake projects from the original project.

Perhaps with IEO is now a good solution for bounty hunters. The new IEO project in 2019 looks more attractive and has potential. Hope my IEO can bring bounty hunters can make money.

For this year, I have hardly follow up any ICO so far. I don't know what they are doing now but I think their relevance have been taken over by IEOs which have been doing better for no.

I have not been up to date with the latest ICOs and I have not any exchange recently so have no idea about the state of the market regarding IEOs.

What I can say is that it will take a few moments to search online but it does seem ICOs are no longer the chosen platform for raising funds and IEOs are in taking over.

I think ICO in 2019 will bring nothing and it makes no sense to spend money and time on it, it is better to find another occupation in cryptocurrency, more profitable

If you are participating ICO to earn, just forget about that, ICO struggles to sell, so there's no opportunity to earn.
Bounty hunters can't rely in ICO anymore like they usually do in the past, even with IEO, there's only few projects that are successful in the market.

Maybe we will see some improvement in our earning once the market will be fully stable again and people are again interested to invest.
For now, let's accept the reality that the success rate has dropped and we are significantly affected.

I disagree with you that there is absolute opportunity to earn, yes ICO market is bad, but it is not bad to the extent that 100 percent of projects are scam, we still have very highly reputable team that would carry out their ICO campaign with respect and those are just the kind of companies that we need to watch out for.

Look at harmony, harmony is a great project with reputable team, they started with ICO and because of this mentality is why some of them didn't promote them, and why investors didn’t invest, imagine that there was no platform of IEO, that is how this project would have gone without being able to meet up, and this Is the challenge with many great projects too that are not able to meet up with IEO financial requirement, so we have good project in the market.

I heard that the ICO MiricaleTELE was very successful and the project works well. but recently I found out that the project’s CEO has left the telegram chats and token holders cannot withsraw dividends.

By the way, I've received the letter from the new CEO of the project, It inspires some hope, will believe the project won't be a soft scam

what I feel is that in 2019 the ICO project fraud was more dominant, that for most of 2018-2019 many projects emerged but did not produce sweet results. most ICO projects end in fraud. now investors have lost confidence because of that, our only way is to wait for the market to stabilize significantly, so that investors return to the crypto space and invest in real projects again.

2019 is the game for the ICOs which was backed by big Venture Capitals, and seem like no chance for the non-prefund start ups. In 2017 the ICOs could raise fund through crowdsale easily, but we can see that in this year all of them are died. They have to redirect to institutional investors, and find ways to conduct IEO on major exchanges.

Only IEOs on two main exchanges ended successfully, because all other token sales that took place, science the beginning of this year, were likely to fail because of the lack of interest. Another wave of hype would help to increase the stats of ICOs.

I think it’s too early to take stock of the year 2019 and determine whether this year is successful or not for the ICO - the year has not ended yet. Indeed, this year, over the past time, it was difficult to find worthy projects, but they were, although there were very few of them. Not all projects have yet paid their rewards to bounty hunters. So far, for me, I would like to sum up for ICOs in 2019 as failure. If we see average projects(few exceptions), either projects failed to raise enough funds or later turned out as  scams. Also this has lowered the confidence of investors for new investments.

When it comes to bounties then it do really prefer on ICO yet we havent seen these IEO to have one yet these are already being listed directly on exchangers and
the same time they do offer out the sale on the platform thats why advertisment or bounty jobs arent really that relevant but somehow even IEO is on the hype or the main
focus atm theres still some projects who do decide to go with ICO but they are getting lesser and lesser as the day goes by including the scam and fraud ones.

True. Having an IEO instead of an ICO does not make it a genuine project.

If I'm not mistaken, they had a long ICO so they were able to raise a decent amount, to be listed in an exchange is easy if they have funds to pay for the listing, and yes, that's the first step of success. However, looking at https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/mb8-coin/#markets, the volume is not that big enough, so hopefully it will grow and they will also add another exchanges to maintain the liquidity in case a possible delisting would happen.

This year is bad for cryptocurrency ICO because there are many projects failed to collect the capital funds from their investors.
Although many icos failed, cryptocurrency will not die. I believe there will be 1 or 2 great ICO / IEO in the future that we can join on.

Unlike the year and the market trend there is growth with ico's. Till date I've come across very few projects that are into continuous development even when the market isn't that good. Such projects will surely succeed someday. 2017 it was big year for Cryptocurrency as more and more people invested big without much of analysis. Now scenario is different, the market is full of scams and to get rid and succeed is truly a hard thing. This year it was completely for the IEO. Even in that there are few exchanges that support scam attempts of IEO.
