I am not a big fan of Justin Sun and his Tron but i do admire this young, successful and smiling guy as he already achieved a lot in such a short time that others can take a lifetime. His comment on Libra showed a guy who is not threatened with possible competition in the same manner that Vitalik Buterin did not consider Tron to be a big threat to Ethereum. One day, we can find these personalities and the different platforms they are representing in one stage and they will all be smiling for all of us to witness. Indeed, the more the better.

Justin is always on the news which is very good for the Tron project and, and it's investors after the lunch news here he is now doing collaboration and giving a great statement for the coming of Libra Coin.

No wonder Tron is the hottest coin right now, also surprised that he has a partnership with Pornhub which is a bold move, it's a win win situation between these two projects.

An ambiguous interview came out. It seems like he is not against cryptocurrency from Facebook and it seems he says that they will not succeed in the legal field. As for the strategic partners in adult cinema, then it seems to me that this is a losing position, which does not lead to anything useful. The best thing is to focus on charity projects, thanks to which it will be possible to make investments in tron projects.

And this is a "bold" statement? Actually seems to be another Libra fanboy comment (there were several identical ones on this very forum). But no, i don't think Libra is that relevant, but the discussion it brought to some spaces is good.

I don't know if Zuckerberg has the money and intention to lobby his coin in congress. The (true) American way, is, fill with money the pockets of enough politicians (aka. Lobby) and hope the opposing lobby(ies) don't have more money than him so it doesn't get opposed on the floor. That's the only way his coin could survive (in America).

Well "blockchain's" future is already bright without Libra or Tron for that matter, even the banks are happily using it for various things. A distributed, secure ledger, as they say, just has too many applications. I guess Tron wants their blockchain to be used more, so that would explain that comment.

I think Libra will somehow popularize blockchain name and label. It will bring more people to Bitcoin also. And that's all good it can do for the ecosystem.

Libra is centralized, it will rush regulations (as a big company is calling attention). It doesn't share bitcoin's fundamentals (open, decentralized, etc)

Libra adds nothing to the cryptoverse. It is centralized and not censorship resistant.  It will enable FB etc to control access to one's money based on bans, shadow bans or social credit score.  Anyone who uses it will be eventually parted from their money if they ever express anything that offends the powers that be.

Technically, this project has many benefits for him: good type theory, security and direct evidence, Libra is written in Rust, and is more efficient and measurable than work systems like Ethereum and Bitcoin. This Libra currency will also have a digital wallet. So later on individuals or traders will be able to use Calibra to save, send and receive Libra.

I see you are not the number 1 fan of justin, maybe only the number 3...   people say many things to defend their projects. I don't think Vitalik should be so convinced since nothing significant has been shown to scale ethereum yet. other projects also show important innovations, such as built-in decentralized exchanges, that leave ether behind.

I slightly disagree. As much as I don't want Libra, people need and use stablecoins whether you like it or not. If anything, depending on how far they're going to go in terms of surveillance, I'd say Libra is actually better than Tether. At least I'd trust it more in a way that it's more likely to be backed by something, rather than just hoping like with Tether.

Have they finally washed the kidney stone off his kidney? Because the last time I heard of him, he canceled his meeting for a kidney stone problem, and that particular gave me a little doubt about Justin but I still like and admire him anyway.

He is a very hard working man and he is like binance CEO also, they are always doing everything possible to make user that Tron is well established and I like the fact that he is ready to partner with other projects also to make it a success and also wishes the well. I have no any bias towards tron but freewallet and it's so called community would be easily categorized as a scam. Don't know if Mr. Justin Sun is unaware of his interviewer or he's not getting enough coverage so he has to take help from an already tarnished name. Mr. one man army of torn too had many controversies and accusations last month. He's day dreaming of having dinner with Warren Buffet turned out to be a joke. And he had some police investigation going against him in his home country.

I'm betting that he doesn't care regardless of who the interviewer is, as long as he's getting the publicity that he wants. He's definitely very excellent and effective at marketing his project, I'd give him that; even though his marketing is mostly inaccurate and misleading. Though his project barely does anything right now besides those unnecessary tron-specific betting sites.
