Bounty hunting is past it's glory days

My experience so far with bounty this year have been bad and it is not as profitable as it used to be. Mainly bounty hunters don't really get good projects that will pay and those that pay just pay a penny which is not worth the time and energy put into the work.
My question is, is it possible to still make a living from bounty or we should just move on from it?

I think we should choose the bounty carefully, there are many bounty in the markets and should be find a good bounty can make profit, this sure depend on the project itself.

You are right i think these days if someone tells you that he is making a living out of bounties is plain lying as it is not the case to be, from last 15 to 18 months bounty market is almost dead there have been so many cases of projects scamming, not paying or lowering reward and in some cases introduce dramatic new changes or rules that are not in favor of hunters.
But i think we should still stay positive like everything moves in cycle the bounty market will also soon take a turn from bad to good hopefully.

feel a little because at this time, many bounties are always offering rewards by locking hunter prizes in order to keep prices stable and not experiencing a dump. I followed 3 bounties and ended up like that even if the locking was severe there were 6 months, to keep looking for income from bounty in my opinion, it can still be just have to wait patiently and bounty campaign currently better used as extra income.

On the first place, bounty hunting is never been considered as a living due to unstable possibility on making money and all of people do knows that stuff.
The only difference into those previous years is that making huge money out of bounty hunting is still possible and people who earn big chunks to those years had thought
that they can possibly live by means of bounty hunting which isn't right.This is only good for side job and having a day stable job is still the best option around.
Sooner or later they would really realize that relying on it is completely useless.Have they already experience profit success or project succeed on this year alone?
For sure lots of them haven't paid by scam one and as said even being paid up with pennies which isn't even worth for the time,effort & resources spent.
IEO is the new hype but sadly these doesn't have any bounty programs where people can join on.

Bounty hunting isn't paying as it used to be before because they're lots of bounty hunters now which makes the rewards less and there are also lots of scam bounties which wastes your time. If you can thoroughly search and screen your bounties then it would pay a little more.

Forget about making a living with bounty, look for elsewhere that you can dedicate your time that much.

I think its a bad idea to consider bounty hunting as a main source of income only to be disappointed at the end. The ICO days   that fueled it are over and we can see only a handful of project's now that we might think as legit and has a  potential but there is also a possibility it might fail too.

A side job that you won't be thinking of something in return so that emotionally, you're not expecting that you will receive a reward. I'm not a psychologist but you should have that mindset because most of the bounties that I've seen today and the hunters that are joining it does have that kind of acceptance as a counter for whatever is going to be the result of their participation.

I'm not entirely sure how bounties go but I've seen a lot of icos that don't actually launch so I guess a lot of bounties must do the same and earn you nothing...

If you're into bounties, what happens if you hold the coins? Based on forks of bitcoin, once airdropped the base rate of the coins are pretty low but then they normally go up and then back down again (like bch) do bounties do this sort of thing? Maybe it's just people are selling too quickly and killing the price because they're after immediate gains (but I have no idea on how the community works).

Not just you that feel it, we are that the bounty hunt also experience such thing. Our work hard almost got nothing, our condition is getting worse day by day.

Please, you should not bounty as your main job and then it looks like you are not even watching correctly and there was still a lot of legit bounty that paid the hunters. I hope that you will see what already happened with the market.
It seems like you are not watching it correctly and do your best to get the legit bounty.
It's much better to consider bounty as your side job dude. It's still possible but this time needs a lot of effort to choose which is the legit bounty to be joined.

The simply truth is that if you are/were depending on bounty for means of livelihood, you need to find an alternative, else you might blame yourself for such decision.
If you must depend on crypto, there are other means of earning other than bounty. Why not try them. Then gradually invest in offline businesses another source of income.

for me, after many projects that are not good and don't pay, I think it's time we look for alternatives for our income.

if we still believe in the bounty for the future, then keep looking. however, we must have another job to cover our income if the bounty still fails.

We don't need to move but never focus only on bounty programs to earn money. Personally, I still do the bounty works but for a side job only. We can do trading or investing for another work on crypto space. They actually can be more effective to earn money than working on bounties. However, as it is quite easy working the bounty tasks, so no need to move.

I think you are right in this regard. I also believe that the Bounty hunting is over and is now no where close to what it used to be. There was a time when offered good money but now it don't offer anything rather just is a wastage of your time and effort.

Switching from Bounty, I think this is not a good decision. Although the condition is now very different from the year 2017 because at that time Bounty gives a great advantage. I'll stay in the fight and do a Bounty campaign because it's a good time to collect new coins.

I think at 2020 the market price will also return successfully. So when Crypto succeeds, I'll also sell all the coins. Take advantage of opportunities that exist for the future.

What you say is true, Bounty hunters now don't get rewarded in accordance with their work, not like they used to.  But I am sure there is still a good Bounty campaign that will provide appropriate rewards to its participants, Bounty hunters must do previous research.

Yeah absolutely right. Bounty hunting has past its glory days because unlike bounty hunting in the past, it was so profittable maybe because of small participants so the bounty allocation is devided into few, while bounty hunting for now seems just to earn few pennies because more and more participants yet the token to be listed is so very low in price.

Since 2017 , bounty give me a life. Helping me for all financial aspect in my life. Its come from mega project in that days like Crypterium, INSecosystem, Covesting, Credits. All of that moment are rare and maybe will never happened anymore. And now 2019, so many scam project are awakened. And this will made us more careful and selective for joining bounty or you will got nothing and sometimes ended with red trust due promoting a scam project. So the solution for this matter,  just doing your own business or work on your real life. Bounty just alternative way for now.
