Bounty hunting is past it's glory days

My experience is the same. Projects are delaying too much for distribution and once done, we realized that we got very less worth of high efforts.
These days are history that we can relay on bounty income. I don't think we should move out. We should keep working holding for long term and being optimistic.

It's not same the old days that the bounties were profitable like the year 2017. Try to find bounties again that launch IEOs I'm sure they are paying, but don't expect you get high rewards. Just move on don't give up.

If you're into bounties, what happens if you hold the coins? Based on forks of bitcoin, once airdropped the base rate of the coins are pretty low but then they normally go up and then back down again (like bch) do bounties do this sort of thing? Maybe it's just people are selling too quickly and killing the price because they're after immediate gains (but I have no idea on how the community works).

Hunters who hold their rewards usually ends up disappointed and left with almost worthless coins since it's being dumped quickly after listing. Liquidity for these bounty coins/tokens are low so they will have to wait for the next "big announcement" from the team before they can sell at a better price, that is if the team is legit and won't abandon the project.

My question is, is it possible to still make a living from bounty or we should just move on from it?

It's not worth making a living our of bounty hunting now, 2019 is, in fact, bad for bounty hunting compared 2017, where just one bounty is enough to make you lots of money, but now you can be in almost 20 bounty hunting but that doesn't guaranty that you can earn much, you cannot even earn half of what you are earning back 2017.

This year's gift is not too bad because some bounty participants still get thousands of dollars this year. I admit it's not easy to find potential bounties now, it's like looking for a needle in straw but don't give up because luck is on those who have tried.

No, unless you will really provide some time and effort to do it.
Most users here now are just joining Facebook campaigns and Twitter. That way they could join all the bounties that are being posted by companies in the bounty section.
Now, that is a lot of work which includes weekly reports and sharing and tweeting. If you have that kind of amount of time to do it then I would better stay with my day job doing what I am best at.
If you enjoy that kind of field then maybe it could work for you.

The bounties have changed right now. Because there are too many scam projects. The next thing is the low allocation. Another thing is a large number of participants. Because the bounties are famous than last year right now. Then so many guys doing bounties.

it's true if you say that the bounty hunter has passed its heyday, but we can't say that it's over. in fact, there are still many bounties that actually pay, and it's worth it. it's just that not all bounties and project success go together, so when a project is successful, the bounty will also be successful.

Well, continuing the bounty, or not, it depends on your choice. until now, I think the bounty is still very reasonable, and quite good. it's only a matter of time until it recovers. I still believe in that.

Bounty hunting has a correlation with the market status, now, the market is not blooming yet, so the moment it will start, bounty hunters will also start promoting successful projects, and just like investors, bounty hunters will also have to deal with if the market is bad.

Every year the bounty glory is different, I have been playing in the bounty since 2017, and at that time many bounty participants became rich suddenly, but in the past year and this year it was no longer so, because of the many bounty projects that were scam, and for the solution is not just to make a living through bounties, but try to make a living through other or real work whose results are very clear, because now the results through bounties are less clear and difficult to guess.

Make a living? You wil rely on bounty about this? I think you should find a rea job and make bounty just a part time cause isnt really a sure income in the first place. People joining bounty should at least know how to differentiate good from scam project so their time wouldnt be wasted. The past bounty hunting still marks the same era for me cause until now I still earn from my campaigns so I think the problem here is the way you choose which campaign to join.

Since 2017 , bounty give me a life. Helping me for all financial aspect in my life. Its come from mega project in that days like Crypterium, INSecosystem, Covesting, Credits. All of that moment are rare and maybe will never happened anymore. And now 2019, so many scam project are awakened. And this will made us more careful and selective for joining bounty or you will got nothing and sometimes ended with red trust due promoting a scam project. So the solution for this matter,  just doing your own business or work on your real life. Bounty just alternative way for now.

Bounty still gives me some additional income even today. In fact, more or less in the same volume it always was since I started. But I never got the huge rewards a lot of people got,,, so I guess it all evens out. People I know got thousands in one shot and then wasted their time for more than a year with nothing but I consistently find something useful and get paid in Bitcoin.

I think it is a win-win situation you have to think of. Get something from project, give something useful back to it.

Bounties ain't what they used to be but hunters have got to keep pushing on. The bear market crippled everything even projects find it difficult to raise anything in their ICOs the reason for IEOs. Everyone gotta stay put for the better days when bounty will be worth something again.

This happened because of market conditions that have not recovered after falling deeply in the past year. But if the project that runs the bounty is a good project, it's better to hold it for the long term and when the altseason starts, I think altcoin with a good product, the price of the token will go up

Bounty hunting that are legit and good was hard to find now dude, it needs smart move in finding a good one.
You must have a guidance or reference in choosing bounty campaign. Never join in the campaign that a BM has negative feedback, then never join a campaign that has no escrows. It will be risky if you apply, though we can still get profit here but need to be careful only.

Bounty hunting is just a method to sway away boredom while learning more about cryptocurrency. Don't take bounty hunting a means to earn and make profit but do bounty hunting in return for learning how cryto works in this forum.

In my opinion its hard to earn regular livelihood from the bounties earning nowadays. In year 2017 bounty hunters made good money from the bounties even I do bounty hunting as a full timer sadly its not profitable to make a living from bounties this year so far. So now I am looking for other things to meet out my daily expenses.
