That's correct, I know some people who stop their job because they like to focus in bounty hunting in the past years, especially in 2017 where bounty hunting brings a lot of money to hunters, the more bounty your participate the more money you will get since that time the popularity of ICO exploded and even scam projects were able to raise a good amount before they slowly go dark and leave the investors a bag holder.

Bounty hunters has the advantage over the investors since they can sell at any price since they just earn it, they don't risk money on it.
Unfortunately, bounty hunters now are already losing their interest to work as majority of the ICO are scams.

You can still make good money on bounty campaigns, but every day it becomes more and more difficult and this is due primarily to the reduction in the number of good projects and the emergence of a large number of fraudulent projects.
If you manage to find a good project, then you can make money on it, but your earnings will not be the same as they were before and it is unlikely that you can live on it.

It's not worth to make a living anymore, because new coins are having a hard time getting supporters and getting funded, it's because of Bitcoin dominance, it really hurts the majority of the coin in the crowdfunding, investors are now investing more in the top coin than a new coin.

In my opinion, it's not possible to make a living out of bounty hunting. This is because of the nature of the job whose income is not fixed and the possibility of getting paid after the task is not certain. I would advise that you get a more consistent offline job and use bounty hunting as a part time hussle.

I calculated my average profit in signature campaign and it is around 100USD per month with my Member account.
Now when we realize that the whole crypto market is 10 times smaller than in 2017, so easy math, I am receiving potential profit 1000USD per months! And that doesn´t look bad, or?

What you say is true, Bounty hunters now don't get rewarded in accordance with their work, not like they used to.  But I am sure there is still a good Bounty campaign that will provide appropriate rewards to its participants, Bounty hunters must do previous research.

Correct! Some projects who have bounty campaigns didn't reward their participants fairly and its very disappointing to most bounty participants but I suggest that we should not let these incidents discourage us from participating other relevant bounties. I agree further research into projects is necessary in order not to get ourselves in a disadvantageous position again.

I also feel the same with you.  first I entered this forum in 2017 it was the best time for bounty hunters in my opinion, at that time there were a lot of new projects, there were a lot of scam projects but in the past I didn't worry so much because just following the social media campaign I got $ 100 from the Pundi X project, the biggest benefit  from the docademic project at that time got $ 900 just following the facebook campaign.  imagine the difference in income now is very far even now following the campaign signature does not guarantee a big profit

I am still doing bounty. Projects are not as many as they were two years ago, but fraudulent projects were reduced significantly. If you have a lot of free time, the bounty is always relevant.

yeah, you said the right thing.
at present crypto cannot be relied on to make a living for the reasons you have said, it is better we look for other jobs that are more tangible with a steady income but we also don't need to stop being a bounty hunter. so, we can meet our daily needs and if we are lucky we also get additional income from crypto.

It's not possible anymore this 2019, I have a lot of friends and also my experience where I have over 50 bounty campaigns, and out of it only 5 are profitable and that's almost a year of doing bounty campaign.

Way back 2017 bounty hunters can make a living out of bounty hunting and these have grown the number of bounty hunters in the industry, but unfortunately, ICO has also become the breeding ground of scammers, they can do these and they can escape from prosecution because it's unregulated, and these people are good at creating a good to be true project that ends up nothing for investors and bounty hunters.

I have been participating in bounty campaigns for several months now, and the maximum I received was several thousand tokens, which are still not traded on any of the exchanges. The result is that I worked for free. Now I am participating in the bounty campaign and have hopes of earning money on it, maybe this time I will be lucky.

It would be quite difficult to earn a living from bounties, unless one is very lucky to get good projects. Bounty hunting was much more lucrative before now, but due to the increase in bounty hunters without a corresponding increase in allocations, the reward has diminished substantially.

You are wrong, many Bitcointalk members left the forum due to low earnings, but when the number of participants is reduced, the reward for one will logically increase and many people don't realize it.

It is possible to still make a decent living through bounty hunting, but nobody should depend on it, sooner or later bounty will cease to exist or will be at its barest minimum of being available. The best thing to do is to start looking for real ways to earn a living, and leave bounty as an alternative earning means.

Yes mate.  Some of us were not lucky to join the bounty hunting train on time which put us on the wrong side. The reason bounty hunting is not worth it this time around is that there are too many fake projects out there and even the few legit ones have slot of greedy people who want to cheat to get the whole bounty pool leaving someone who is just into bounty hunting with nothing because they might not know what's going on. That's what is actually letting some of us lose hope in promoting projects.

I agree, it's been a long time since I've received good bounty payments.Here everyone has their own strategy.I try to hold, those coins that are paid until better times, some coins I sell and buy other coins, it all depends on different factors.But while there is bounty and free time, I try to participate in them.

I think now the bounty is only for extra income. look for real jobs
during the day I work as a temporary employee and at night I work on bounties.
