I cannot say for sure that bounty hunters can live on bounty campaigns or not. But what I can say that it is better to take bounty campaigns as alternative jobs. It is because bounty campaigns are going down in numbers over time and there is difficulties to find good projects nowadays.

that is most of the projects that are not good. there are still good projects and have a quality developer. and when you get a project like that, you won't get the problem you face.

Its really annoying to promote bounty projects for months and get nothing in return or get almost zero rewards but i believe that a single project is enough to turn my life around for good,not all bounty projects are here to fest on investors hard earned money,the bounty i missed not promoting and regretted is gowithmi which seems to be the only legit project with bounty this year so far,i won't give up and im sure my luck will come

My question is, is it possible to still make a living from bounty or we should just move on from it?

For me, work of gifts so far is no longer the main thing to get money. I mean, I've switched. I will always do the work of this gift even though I am only paid a little.

there are a handfull of bountys that would be really worth your time.
you can find good ones from peoples signature. if you see alot of the same sig then the bounty might be good.
or others from young but promising companys (those with a product on market)
but yes, the market as a whole is currently not very profitable.
but things will change, you just have to be at the right side of the market at the right time.

That is why invest in ICO projects is no longer profitable. Similarly, bounty hunters are hesitant to join again in a bounty campaign because their fate is not promising and I was the one who felt that.

Bounty hunting is a part-time job and you don't get a fixed or regular income from bounties as there are not many good projects available now and market conditions are also not fruitful.

I think it's impossible to make a living now from the joining only bounty campaigns. Because the bounty awards are quite low compared to last years. And it is also unclear how much exactly will earn and exactly when rewards will be sent. Therefore, it is very difficult to earn a living by doing a job like bounties, wich has so many variables.

Bounty is dying with ICO, sadly but it's true. You can see that currently, only IEO can attract investors, and such projects are almost no marketing needed when the the exchanges will do it for them. Current projects focus on funding from institution, venture capitals, they do not conduct ICO so bounty so it is not necessary.
I see just some tasks for hunters like doing community, but it required a lot of effort.

If you see this forum as a way to make a living then you are in the wrong place, you will not find a genuine project here because i have not seen i a very long time and majority of the projects that collected huge amount of money died off eventually, but the developers made a ton of money with it. Big projects with great team do not need advertisement  .

I blame hunters for supporting shit. Everyone wants to blame everything else. There is still money to be made bounty hunting. It is just a lot harder since people are tired of investing in scams or projects that just suck.
I think people were very greedy when ICO first started. They must have thought it was easy money. Now that people have realised it doesn't work that way they spend their investment elsewhere.

There will always be bounty. Now it is just IEO and not as much ICO. I think it is better and at least you know the tokens will be listed. What projects are you talking about that have exchanges do the adverising for them?? How will an exchange advertise here or use twitter and other social media?

Many people do make their living here. Do you think bounty is the only way to make money with crypto? What about if you work in a team or are hired privately because someone found you here. THere is a lot of knowledge here and you can use that to make money. I think they do need to advertise here.... Why would they not need to?

I have examples of people who have been able to make a profit on the bounty company this year. Therefore, I believe that there Is still every chance to get a good reward. The difficulty lies in choosing a good project.
