I would not have made such categorical conclusions. The popularity of ICOs may still resume after moderate regulation of this type of activity by states. Here, first of all, it is necessary to drastically reduce the number of fraudulent projects and states may well solve this problem, which is overripe for ICO. Now is not the time for bounty hunters, since earned tokens are now hundreds, and sometimes thousands of times cheaper than before. If we assume that at least some of them will still increase in price, then even now it may still be profitable to participate in ICO bounty campaigns.
If it is not for scammers that has now taken over the ICO market, I am sure that people would not have been so worried about the coin or hunting, but these coins that we participate in now are hard to tell if it is for a scammer or a real developer no matter the method you use to verify them, they will always come out genuine until after the money has been raised and probably they launch on exchange before you see them professionally exiting the market. Like you mentioned earlier, there is really need for government regulations like in the days of IPO, but we still have our own little problem also, we are not helping this issue of regulation with the way that we keep on resting the KYC that is needed for us to really get the system regulated, I understand it is meant to be a decentralized system, but we cannot have our cake and eat it all.

For the past year there's not that much profit from my own bounty experience mainly due to bear market and scam or fake projects which just wasted my effort and time. It's a fact that the glorious days are over for bounty but I'm still hoping that bounties will be as profitable like in 2017, maybe if a regulation is implemented on projects this will produced quality ones and the chance of a successful ICO or IEO is high thus bounty hunters will get paid.

My experience so far with bounty this year have been bad and it is not as profitable as it used to be. Mainly bounty hunters don't really get good projects that will pay and those that pay just pay a penny which is not worth the time and energy put into the work. My question is, is it possible to still make a living from bounty or we should just move on from it?
It's possible to make a living from bounty, but it will be not life but survival... Sometimes you can receive big profit from bounty, but it's a very rare case now... like winning in lottery...

maybe, but if you can follow a good gift and if you are lucky to get a valuable token when it is sold, but unfortunately that is no longer found today. a lot of projects ended with fraud and only a few results that I got from the campaign and I realized because of limited ranks that prevented me from getting a prize in large numbers.

You're right. 2019 has not been profitable for bounty hunters. But you must be aware that this was a difficult year for all participants in the crypto market. I have never used participation in a bounty campaign as my main income. But I can confidently say that the profit that I get from the bounty campaigns this year is several times lower than the one that I received last year.

I would advise you to run a couple of bounty projects. Maybe you will be lucky and you will be able to guess a profitable project. But now really this industry is very vulnerable. After the project goes on the stock exchange investors sell a huge number of coins and sharply lower the price.
that's right, that suggestion is very good indeed. i also did not stop to follow some bounties, maybe in the future i will be lucky and be in a good bounty project. indeed at this time it is very difficult to benefit from the bounty especially when the coin has entered the exchange, the price is very bad and does not match the actual price. but we can still benefit, if we can get the right time to sell or buy the coins.

I think we just need to participate in really strong projects and not waste time in vain. By conducting a deeper analysis, we can all also profit from this market. Everyone is happy hunting gentlemen.

Project selection has always been the most important thing for bounty hunter. Even at the best of times, there were chances to run into a scam and get nothing. Even now bounty hunters can earn some money

As a bounty hunter, of course we often get a bounty that does not pay its participants for no apparent reason, but that is the risk we have to face patiently and keep trying to follow a bounty that is wonderful at the moment, we must optimistic and not only because the one or two bounty scams that we follow are scams, and then we have to despair.

Do not give up because the opportunity will not come twice. Each project must be followed, but before you join the project it is better to do the research. So we can avoid fraudulent projects. I will still continue to make a living from Bounty. When I had experienced that in 2017-2018 it was many good occasions I passed. Because it does not work on Bounty, so that when 2017 years many successful projects.

Its wise not to give up entirely on bounties for now since no one knows tomorrow,as impossible as it looks for now altcoin season might return and everyone will still be able to make profits out of shitcoins and useless tokens as well but its better to promote promising projects only, they might turn scam but its better than promoting shitcoins

I do agree with you OP. Those days when doing bounty works were just spectacular are too good to be true nowadays. It's already history if i may say. Those were the days. Nowadays doing bounties were a bit risky. We just cannot say if the existing ICO's were truly legit or plain scam. Or will it become successful in the end if handled by a well-known team. Who knows? We're not really in the position to tell. I always remind myself that doing bounties are for additional benefits only. And the equivalent rewards after can either give me huge profits or nothing at all. This is the risk that we all have to face now. But one thing is for sure, i'm not ready to hang up my hat now.

The best time of bounty hunters in the past. I think companies which want to make startups didn't receive an initial capital through advertising from bounty hunters. This problem did not resolve and this gives bad days for hunters.

Now it’s very difficult to call this rewards a "profit" what we get in bounty campaigns. 200-300 dollars for a signature campaign it is terrible rewards The bounty payments are not good for the measuring the how successful the project or team is. The conditions in the crypto market are subject to change constantly and the changing variables make it hard to catch the connection between bounty campaigns vs investor confidence. The investments are usually used for the to protect the development of the previous businesses and the profit from this business will be used for the creating new idea which can be in the crypto ecosystem or in the real business world.

The days of bounty hunting is gradually coming to a close unless the crypto markets turn around for good. These days projects are skeptical of bounty payments out of fear of their tokens getting devalued if hunters start selling them. This fear actually emanates from the market in general because it has been bearish for a while now and coins that dip hard usually find it difficult to rise back in price

The problem is really with the bounties but rather with the quality of projects and investors' response of low patronage, If investors are not buying or making profits from ICOs , then those who promote the projects will not make money either

if you imagine a big prize better now to move on, bounty in my opinion is still worth it's just that I know it's not the same but for this reward is greater than looking for micro earnings on the internet so because of this I still survive.

Opportunities to get profit from bounties are still open, but not as big as in previous years. Moreover, many bounties are scams, their allocations are small, and markets that are less conducive make smaller profits, so the hard work of bounty hunters is not worth their rewards. My advice, choose bounties with rewards in the form of tokens or strong coins such as BTC and ETH, choose bounties whose projects are working products and are already registered in the market.

It is time for the bounty hunter to think and plan a more real career. Don't get caught up in the situation and forget about other strategies to still benefit from crypto. Being an IEO investor or trading I think a good option to stay afloat.

I think we should choose the bounty carefully, there are many bounty in the markets and should be find a good bounty can make profit, this sure depend on the project itself.
Your probably correct mate and ypu had a point, it's totally not all bounty project are scamm and they pay rewards for the bounty hunters. But we know difficult to choose or pick bounty project at this time but we need to analyst first and study well before joining or investing in the bounty to avod loses of time and investment. Good luck to all hunters😀😀😀
