With comparison to ICO, IMO, IEO is much better than the old ICO projects. Though we can still spot the difference between the two, but IEO is still in it's testing stage in different exchanges. It is too early to judge the new project. But I agree with OP's statements, exchanges wanted an investor to make a project using their platform. It is a win-win situation for both investor and exchange since the investor may actually successfully launch the coin through exchange and exchanges like Binance, etc. may also gained popularity and gain huge benefits if IEO will be successful.

Maybe there is some kind of deal with the emerging exchanges where that split or give commission to the exchanges if the IEO is successful. The projects very well know they have little chance of raising money by IEO

The present of IEO will give another profit for the exchanges and who doesn't want to get more profit from the project? I am sure that every exchange intends to make an additional profit and they will allow all project to join with them. But I think the exchanges will have a requirement or term of conditions that will need to fill by the projects. The exchange will also get the other benefits of the ICO because they can get more traders and investors to join in their site, and that will be another profit too for the exchanges.

It's business matter, exchange will make sure that they will get profits from the project that they will list inside the platform,. Launching project will bring investors and traders interest, it's a win win for the owner and operators of any exchange that will deal with this business, there's no other factors aside from getting more profitable earnings.

Although IEO is the best compared to ICO, IEO brings more investors and users to the exchange, and project could easily gained capital by doing an IEO because of the large number of users in the certain exchanges and but because of the listing fee, that is why exchanges were also interested in having an IEO.

IEO's have really come to solve the issues of ICOS's but has not completly erased the threats. currently most IEO's r trading far below their listing price and its still a major threats to investors at large

I don’t see any threat that IEO has come to erase too really because the threat is still there, there are many exchanges that are everyday creating very bad projects and releasing those bad projects to the public.

Some of us are only using BinanceIEO to conclude that IEO is more secured because IEO has the hype and IEO is still to some level a very reputable project, but I am still watching all the IEO projects that are coming on it too and to see how they are all going to perform in the long run, maybe in another one year, because when ICO too was launched first, they were doing when within the first one year but after one year was when their true color started and majority of them started becoming a threat to so many investors and I pray that IEO would not get to that stage too.

If something is proven to work, almost everyone will want to do it! Aside that, scam exchanges are also looking forward to launch IEO, defraud developers and investors and at the end, you may not see them again. It is then they will tell you they have been hacked, alongside other cock and bull stories.  Not every exchange is safe. Choose good and trusted exchanges before participating in any IEO.

IEOS is a safe haven for projects who really want to reach their target funding for product development because ICOS don't get investors anymore due to fake projects thus resulting in lack of trust. You have stated good facts also, I think one of the reasons why exchanges are interested in launching IEOs is to stay relevant thus making sure they IEOs they chose are the ones with good chance of success, thereby with this success rate will attract more thereby giving them more popularity and money. Most exchanges list any IEO without due diligence so far it will give me money while some take adequate steps to research every IEO so as to make sure they will have good returns while safeguarding their reputation; this is the reason why almost all IEOs on top exchanges are always a success.

It is great for exchanges to hold an IEO, because if a project is great, it will attract a lot of new users to their platform, but the problem is that nowadays nobody cares about an IEO if it is not held by an exchange like Binance, Huobi or Okex.
