Question: What do you think about reducing the issue of coins to 3000 per block in order to accelerate its price increases?
it is a good idea
this must be done
this is a bad idea, but probably it needs to be done
this cannot be done in any case

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

18,446,744,073,709 coins

are you serious ? that's super huge amount for a cryptocoin
5 956 800 000 per year ... not so much. Especially if the coin becomes very, very popular.

Hi dev,

the total supply is 18,446,744,073,709, and 5 956 800 000 per year, so that it need  3000+ years to mine it ?

It feels like a joke...
No github.
No working download links.
Meanwhile the "devs" are mining like madmen.

FAIL !

 Grin Grin Grin

It's a little awkward...

Anyway, OP, I was thinking about some stuff to do, and I had a simple list:
- Discord Server
- Revamp Webpage
- FAQ on Website
- Fix issue where wallet does not report the current hashrate of mining
- Press materials (logos, white paper, banners)
It will all be. Just give us some time to fix the most obvious bugs and apply for some exchanges. After the coin is placed at least on several exchanges, we will begin to improve the appearance of everything connected with the coin.

F1C same ticker like Future1coin...
Hmm ... that's a little problem. We will have to change the ticker.

Agreed. One of us could set up an unofficial one right now. It'd be way easier and free. Discord works on Linux, Mac and Windows, mobile, etc.

Edit: Man I'm dumb. Just noticed earlier OP said they won't do a Discord right now because of time/effort. So unless they give us the good graces to start a sort of "fan" Discord, it's a no go until they're ready.
I think creating a "fan" Discord is a good idea. We can even specify it here in the description of the currency. But you will have to make sure that there is no negativity between users in this Discord. Also, make sure that any scammers cannot use it, etc.

where is exchange
Coming soon. Very soon...

I'm thinking put for free on my exchange on test.
I'm not sure that it makes sense for you to add a coin to your exchanger until Fortune1Coin receives any value on exchanges. Because while there is no cost, how to change?
But as soon as we make a Linux release, you can begin technical testing. It is a fact.

Question: will the new miner be including in an updated wallet release? Will the new wallet be compatible with my current wallet?

Of course. No hard forks are planned yet.

I'm waiting more for exchange

I have 2 computers mining. One server and one I3, doing great job. So congrats for the team, for such great business. Keep growing.

E5 2683 V3 even if it has 14 cores has not good performance +- 600 F1C per block (mined a little, It's my personal computer, so I just made a test)
I3 2100  +- 300 F1C per block (Normal desktop computer, probably I will upgrade with Xeon proc probably E3 1245)
E3 1240 +- 1000 F1C per block (Dell Poweredge R210II) If anyone need I could find 3 used for a good price.

For more configuration I could test, but i would be happy with any kind of donation.

It's because it only uses one thread/CPU core at the moment. I bet once the multicore miner comes out, you'll see a huge bump. I have a 2700x and an i3 laptop - 2700x gets about 1k F1C every five to ten minutes, laptop gets about half that in the same time.

Waiting for multithread miner...  Roll Eyes

It was supposed to be out a couple days ago, not sure what happened.  Undecided

I'm waiting more for exchange

My guess is sometime in the next month or two. I could be wrong.  Grin

Thanks for the reply. So you probably have a newest I3 CPU.

No problem waiting for new update, next week buying a Xeon CPU and change the I3 machine Smiley

How do you like your Xeons? I was going to get one but then the Threadripper chips and Ryzen happened. Those are more expensive but still.

Edit: OP, is your wallet displaying the hashrate? Mine still isn't. Just network hash.

I didn't have any opportunity for Theardripper chips or Ryzen -> I don't work and I don't have $..... I'm many years in Xeons (workstations, servers) and I'm more than happy.

Yeah same for me for the wallet.

Can I send you some F1C to test out the wallet transactions? They transfer fine locally but I'm curious to see how it handles totally different networks and regions. It shouldn't matter, but I'm curious.

We can do some tests, why not.

Okay. Was going to message you my F1C address, but it won't let me. I'm going to start the test with 100 F1C. I think one or two times back and forth should be more than enough. I've got a console open and I'm monitoring what's going on.

Try to write some more, you are a still a newbie user.

@Fortune1Coin
Please keep this single thread miner !

It's fun that you can mine with some home PC and everyone can mine some coins.
The moment you change the miner, multithreading and GPU you will kill this coin.
Since only a few big boys can mine.

After a security breach many accounts got hacked, after that new rewards system for new users.
Now you have to post 2 or 3X (?) as much for an upgrade of your rank.

- p2p protocol tuning

Currently, we decided to abandon the release of a multi-threaded miner. The implementation of multithreading in the existing miner architecture led to its unstable operation. As a result of research, we came to the conclusion that for multithreading, the miner needs to be completely rewritten from scratch. Plus, we had the same thoughts as you. We do not want this coin to be mined only by "big boys".

Currently, all our efforts will focus only on placing F1C on exchanges. Technical releases are possible only for bug fixes.
