Still my wallet is out of sync. I waited for 2 hours, restarted my own computer, reinstalled genesiscoin qt and nothing has helped. Any ideas what I can do more ?

I had the same issue. You may need the conf file in the correct format. Make sure that the file type is CONF. If the dev could link to a copy it that would be great.

Ok, we will create conf file then update in the first post.

We've updated config file in the first post.

genesiscoin.conf file: genesiscoin.conf

Just download and put to wallet folder, restart your wallet then enjoy.

It's my understanding that this algo is based more on the card's memory usage so your hashrate will be around 50% of the hashrate you would get mining regular scrypt.

You should try 7950 config. But it's difficult to get the high hash rate.
