I can't to compile the wallet for linux. I perform make. Then qmake and I have follow errors:

what am I doing wrong? My wallet still won't sync? "No block source available..."   All other wallets I use work properly.

Same problem. Config file in folder %appdata%\roaming\genesiscoin. Tried restarted wallet, pc.
Can't ping these node 123.18.212.164; 49.107.103.108; 113.168.151.242.
These node  42.118.144.33 - 252ms; 46.0.33.176 - 14ms.

I don't usually have problem with wallet syncing and manually adding some IP/DNS to the *.conf (almost) always solves the problem (unless there are some rouge forks floating around, but even then it syncs up until the point where things got messy on the network level).
But my Genesis wallet just won't sync.
Was it compiled with UPnP support?
The Coins4Everyone pool warned me that I should withdraw my coins at once and I obeyed (I didn't wish to try if their stratum server disconnects my worker if I refuse to withdraw long after the warning appeared). Now I won't know if the coins will ever arrive into this (seemingly broken) wallet...


By the way, do you by any chance want a Hungarian version of the OP?

I followed your advices, downloaded genesiscoin.conf and get to the right folder and nothing has improved. My wallet is online for almost 5 hours and is still out of sync. Lots of coins were gathered by my rigs and I can not save them on genesis wallet.

I love this coin(so far) only issue is the wallet not syncing.

Make sure you save it as a "all files" in the dropdown box then enter the name genesiscoin.conf,save it in in your c:/users/yourusernamehere/appdata/roaming/genesiscoin folder and restart the client.

Windows file names are not case sensitive.

It must be something else. The wallet should have found some peers even without supernodes by now, but I tried both with and without nodes in the conf file.
I also tried adding a single node only: the IP of the pool I am currently mining with and I know that it responds to http and ping requests from my IP.

This method should also work in case of multiple rogue forks around the network (the wallet will follow the blockchain of this explicitly chosen node, no matter what other nodes might have, correct or not).
Still no luck with the wallet though.

Download file genesiscoin.conf at 1st post (below wallet's picture) and paste to folder following this link: c:/users/yourusernamehere/appdata/roaming/genesiscoin

Ex mine: c:/users/F87/appdata/roaming/genesiscoin

AppData maybe hidden and you must "show hidden files" at your "Folder Options" tool.

Mining since 2010 and know how to sinc wallet but now I cant do it.
