Thanks for bringing this to everyone's notice. Owing to the fraudulent activities which always takes place on Telegram, I find it hard replying or giving attention to unnecessary chats, as I always "report spam" on those Accounts. Although this wasn't the exchange and format they used on me months ago, but it all points to them looking for ways to scam innocent and carefree people. Let's always learn to be contented, as someone rightly stated, it is greed that leads most people into getting scammed. Have taken note of the exchange for reference purposes.

That is very right. I won't trust a person from telegram or any other chat messaging app even if he is promising things that are too good to be true. I usually delete the channel or the chat from unknown users that suddenly pop up and saying good opportunities to earn money. And if you haven't deleted them and just ignore, you will see later on that they will delete  their account because they will realize that you are not interested with their bs.

But good to note this exchange - jetxcoins.com. Never heard this exchange til now.

Thank for the information that you shared, It's clear according to your expectations is pure scam and the btc sending for you is only a black propaganda to encourage you to deposit 0.02 bitcoin possible if you deposit that amount your bitcoin become lost. The lesson here is do not trust quick to the unknown people.

I'm New here but I've been into crypto since 2016. I faced this today but I was not scammed. But I think I should share it here because I know many might also get to face this later because of what it relates to.
There is a Fake Exchange now which is http://jetxcoins.com. This exchange is being used by scammers to make you deposits 0.02 btc and after then you won't be able to withdraw any.
I notice that this exchange is new and scam after someone contacted me on Telegram and asking me for help. To help him withdraw, showing me several screenshot as proof of him not being able to withdraw from the exchange. I was willing to help at the beginning but I later use my senses and put my heart at one side. Then, i realised its scam.  Wink

How will you be tricked to deposit 0.02 btc?
This is how it will happen
Someone will contact you saying he is having problem withdrawing from the exchange because his country was restricted.
So he will ask for your help to make new account with the exchange so that he can send the btc to you.
And Yes. You will receive some btc after signing up and giving him your email
He will ask you to withdraw to your btc wallet but you won't be able to withdraw because you need to deposit 0.02 btc to be able to trade or withdraw.
If you deposit a dime, Count them as gone or say bye bye to them.
This site is http://jetxcoins.com

I wonder why you go to  this exchange, it's not listing in coinmarketcap, or coingecko, it is very risky to deal with exchange, you need to check if the exchange is listing in  coinmarketcap, or coingecko.

this is a fraud of the old way, I've experienced it several times,
someone came to me and asked for help to withdraw 1 BTC, the problem is we have to deposit a number of BTC in order to be able to withdraw, this is an important point,
whatever happens, don't ever make a deposit anywhere, he even offers 10 BTC,

Thanks for this warning, there are several of such running around, i think one must be careful about how he or she uses new exchanges and also there is no way a legit exchange will demand deposits before withrawal

This way is common thing to happen on cryptocurrency and I think there is some people who meet this experience although the place that scammer use is different. Be carefull on this industry, someone can hide their identity and even they use fake identity to deceive you.

I agree use your sense before to help someone else, they will offer interesting profit but you must help them to send your money to their wallet. And most of them who felt to their trap are newbies who didn't know this industry as a whole. They only have intention to get profit as much as they can and they are able to spend a lot of money provided they will get a lot money as well.

Thanks to OP for sharing such an informative piece. Now, the fraudsters are using every mechanism to dupe people and this approach normally begins on telegram. Investors must be vigilant on the type of new chats received from unknown sources. These scammers start by offering enticing amount and will require deposit to activate something for you. Never heed to any of these lies.

Sorry but something does not add up here.

Are you implying that the person who will contact you via telegram is part of the scam? If so, I don't see the point why he/she needs to send you btc to be withdrawn because no one would be stupid enough to deposit their own fund just to help someone else.

And Yes. You will receive some btc after signing up and giving him your email
How much did you get after signing up?

I'm saying that this person will send you some btc. So it means he probably have access to the to do some things without the owner of the account being aware.
I hope you know that being one of the admin of any website may give you access to somethings. So he will just need to send or generate some amount of virtual btc to my account via the email I used to signup. This will make me deposit btc to the wallet attached to my account (His Wallet attached to my account) Because I want to withdraw them. And I will be happy to deposit lower amount of btc to get higher amount. 0.02 for 0.38. Means I giving out original amount of btc for just numbers.

And for signing up, I got nothing

Oh I see, it makes sense now. My initial assumption from your original post was that he/she will deposit account to your personal bitcoin wallet and not on the exchange.

I almost got the same experience as you. But fortunately, I don't send anything to their website because I am suspicious, why I need to deposit first before I can withdraw the money? Besides that, after I read the email, I ask my friend about that. He is also suspicious, and we agree that we don't have to think about that.

Maybe it's not a new scam because I think many people already get the same thing as you. The scammers will find out a way to get our money, so we need to be careful, and we need to avoid the message. But thank you for sharing that to us so many people are know that the scammers using the website to trick people so we can prevent that thing.

I've gotten a few private chats from scammers looking for gullible people to trick on telegram, I think jetxcoins is one of the scam sites. At first I was wondering why someone would want to give me login details to help withdraw his funds, saying his country is restricted blablabla.  On a second thought, I sense scam and blocked. Now it's clear, they ask for deposit to withdraw, a trick to catch greedy people. Let's be wise and very careful.

the deposit thingy strategy is verry popular these days  . i seen couple attempts of sites that makes you win but you cant withdrew your winnings until you deposit a specific amount  . thats an obvious scam and i think no one on his normal mind would fall for that trap  .  anyway the exchange jetxcoins is new to my eyes and not even promoted here but even if its promoted here by scammers ,  people here will still investigate and report it  .

if we want to trade ,lets trade safely using well known exchanges that are clean from negative feedbaks

I often experience this kind of thing, it's just the difference is that the scammer has many sites and this site looks different, but the fraud mode is almost the same, my suggestion if there are suspicious sites like this site better immediately, report for example to Google so that search engines stop displaying this scam site and prevent others from becoming victims.

Before using an exchange check their reputation and tenure if the exchange is quite new, doubt it.

Thank you for sharing your experience here. Don't talk to strangers and don't be greedy if they will deal with you which they'll tell you that the amount that you will receive upon helping them is too good to be true.

Yes you are saying facts. Greediness will make some fall into different types of trap.
he is a total stranger. Although he tried his best but I'm not dumb. I even tried to return his funds but not successful.
Thanks anyways. I'm glad  Smiley
See. Don't have deal with someone that is a total stranger because they can do things that you won't expect and if there's money involved on it, they wouldn't care what you feel after they scam you. Good on your part that you are aware of their scheme like this.
This should be an eye opener to the newbies there that still keep on talking to someone and asks ways of making money in illegal way.

Im also confused, I think the person who contacted you is a different person in the one who own the platform. Hmmm who are you accusing as a scammer? the person on telegram that contacted you or the website?

If the website I think no one here is fool enough to fall for this aside from newbies.

From the way the request for help to withdraw just actually already looks like this is a scam, I often receive messages like this in the Telegram application but I delete them. So it's not just the http://jetxcoins.com Exchange that is a scam but is part of a tool to cheat. The point is we really have to be more careful

You are right. The only thing we can do is be careful. There are many more ways they will do to trick us and trying to get our money, but if we can avoid them, then we can feel safe from them. If someone offers free money without we need to do something, then we should be suspicious and try to research the truth. But for me, there is no free money without doing something Grin

A case that often occurs and I think the same as this case is they send a chat to our telegram account asking for help to withdraw the coins on an exchange. If we are careful and aware they should immediately realize they already understand bitcoin but can not know how to withdraw it
