Everyone stating that gambling will affect someone's image in the society so this is actually happened with you?

For me it happened once why are you gambling its a sin in our life I replied its my wish I can do what ever I wanted.

It won't affect your image if you are not going to tell it to anyone, especially to your family and friends, besides, there is no reason for you to tell it since they are just going to say bad things about you. It would be better if you will make these kind of things private, for us to have a peace of mind against the judgmental society. You don't have to boast it to everybody that you are playing gambling and you are making money in gambling.

In fact, just earn and play in gambling quietely, and let your success make the sound.

As I am an office worker there are allot of people some likes gambling so it's their ideology which can never be change but I can show them my profit so one day they will admire me.

Good to hear that you've been into something that could be appreciated, with respect on your profit from gambling. But you can't really chance those people behind you, and what's good advice to take here is that keeping your stories private might be better. Just open up your personal things about gambling to somebody who really could understand the world of gamblers, yet also they're used to do gambling in the same ways.

In our hometown, there's a known description if the person starts to become poor and he's a known gambler. People on there will start to blame his misfortune 'because he's a gambler'.

And that makes others aware that they shouldn't gamble too if they don't want to share the same fate. In my personal life, it didn't affected my personal reputation. I think it's still depending on how you handle yourself and the situation.

I don't see it as a negative thing lol. Actually, if the man indeed became poor and lost his fortunes due to his gambling habits he can be a fine example fot those who lack self-control. But obviously, the man must be supported too and helped and not left alone.

I don't see that as well as negative thing since you have read what I've said, it's on our hometown and people who are far from using technology and have been living on the tradition will think of it as something negative.

It's hard to change those kind of beliefs and I think that in some other communities and towns does have the same way of thinking about gambling.

In my country gambling doesn't truly affect the reputation of someone. It is mostly a way of entertainment here so it doesn't bother someone's reputation.
If you are a gambler you are a normal people as most of the people gamble, but if you overdo it then of course your reputation is going to be affected.

Not if you will keep it private which is very easy if you're only gambling online using cryptocurrencies. I have a friend who has a degree who gambled exessively to the point that he needed to lie to his wife that he lose that much of money. Luckily, she managed to cover it up by borrowing from another friend and now his debt is cleared and their marriage is still intact.

It's an old school judgment for me, gambling is never a sin as long as you know how to control yourself, they need to understand and be educated about gambling, but since they judge without knowing it, that means this kind of people are close minded and it's hard to explain to them and they will continue to judge you.

I would always use myself for reverence,  I was shocked when I saw my cousins account balance and I knew the only source of income he had was gambling.  I humbly asked if the money was made From gambling and he agreed.  I was left with no choice than to also join in the game. I am glad today that I saw something that inspired me and this is the reason I can happily share my story since I never can tell who I might be helping then. Gamblers are what people think. Not to break out the positivity but this is how luck works.It might worked for his cousin but doesnt work for anybody or on you.Being inspired isnt bad but we know the risk behind or lies ahead as a gamblers. Addiction is there which would result to loss of money and it do have high chances for it to happen specially you pursue to be a good gambler.
Never ever to praise up to those who make money because they are just lucky why they able to reach up that state. Differentiate anytime into yourself because luck doesnt linked up to anybody. Gambling equates to heavy drinking in my community but then lots of people drink quite heavily quite often so its hardly a great negative.    One of my best friends dad was a bookmaker for a gambling firm and I dont remember him especially regretting his job, very secure and he had that for decades.
   Some countries will ban gambling but its often in favor of a national lottery type setup (which government taxes and/or runs itself) rather any great reasoning its bad to gamble.    Gamble firms provide very regular tax revenue to governments, the reason being its so value is that its considered a recession proof industry.   A nation can suffer a great drop in tax revenue during a revenue where the books for fiscal spending now fail to balance with excess spending and problems with tax income, known as deficit spending so gambling then coming in with its regular tax take and paying government means they now value this industry as productive.   
  Thats some countries, not all but many things that might be banned are welcomed when its forming a help to the structure of fiscal budgeting.

Yes, that is what we should do in society. We cannot close ourselves from society because they are our neighbor, and we lived with them. I don't want to stay at home all day long because I want to know them too and that's why I always walk around in my neighborhood and talk with them. I feel that they can give me an idea for my online business.

And related to gambling, I guess only some of my neighbor who knows that I am playing gambling on my mobile phone and I think they know what I've played, and they can accept that. I think he didn't use the right word, not necessarily to be admired but envied. I do this sometimes with the intention of making people know that it's not always what they think about gambling.  I think the intention sometimes is to change the perspectives or mindset of certain individuals concerning gambling.

It can sometimes be interesting to take people know that their ideology about gambling is not always right.  A lot of people believe gambling is not a profitable business or gamblers are only there to waste their time with nothing to show forth, so showing people sometimes what you are worth from gambling is sometimes a very great idea.  Gamblers are rich and I am a good proof of that.

I am very thankful that there is online gambling which is I can hide while I am going to gamble. Yes, it can affect my reputation because that is against with our belief and because of our religion. My whole family had faith in our religion and including me, even though drinking liquor is not allowed. I want to transfer in religion but I can't because I respect my family. As a family man, most of time in gambling are supposed to be used for the family but, whenever I start gambling, I totally forgets to recognized the presence of my family until am done with the gambling, this has caused me a big dispute between me and my nucleus family.
