Mass adoption growing or decreasing?

Following 10 years of presence, the subject of whether the mass reception of digital currency has been begun is still bantered in the space. I would like to ask specialists in the crypto and blockchain businesses is there or have there be any huge crypto mass adoption compare to 10years ago?

It all depends on what we mean by words mass adoption. If this is a payment for goods or services, then this is still a long way off. If we mean the spread of cryptocurrencies among people, then over the past 10 years, the number of people owning cryptocurrencies has increased.

it can be considered as a very fast adoption consider about it takes 10 years and tens countries have already tried to adopt crypto as a new method in the payment, speculation or transaction system. But the real adoption is not yet started by the way. But the development of crypto still continue and more crypto will be used to pay the goods or service as bitcoin has already used to paid employers.

Still increasing until now. we gather a alot before 2017 ends and we are still counting more now.

It seems to me that the more the crypto industry develops, the less is the chance of the rapid growth of bitcoin and other coins. Whales will practically have their hands tied if heads of state try to take control of bitcoin.

Compared to what it was 10 years ago, of course there is, since 10 years ago there was only cryptocurrency and the introduction was not right, now there are at least terminals for paying with bitcoin for goods in stores and a few more opportunities, this is certainly not enough in comparison with what will happen in the future.

Considering the number of people in the entire crypto ecosystem to the number of people in the world, I will say mass adoption of the use of cryptocurrency is growing at a very slow rate.  Although the numbers from the day Bitcoin was launched till now has increased massively, there is no way to classified that as massive adoption growth. The crypto space is still at its young stage of mass adoption.

Bitcoin mass adoption is growing, that is a sure thing. When you compare year 2017 and 2019, you will find many new ways how to buy Bitcoin, where to store Bitcoin, where to pay with Bitcoin and where to sell Bitcoins. The complete ecosystem is growing, just look how many Bitcoin ATMs we have for example or how many retailers started accepting Bitcoin.

The adoption of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies is increasing gradually. I have seen blockchain solutions which have been successfully developed to conduct voting and this was very successful. There are now quite a substantial number of online marketplaces that accept cryptocurrencies as payment.

I'd say the adoption is getting better and better, and compared to 4-5 years ago when I first heard about crypto these days people know much more about cryptocurrencies (specially BTC and ETH). But it's the beginning and this space can get bigger and bigger for a long time.

Cryptocurrency adoption is increasing day by day because the bitcoin keeps getting popular around the world. If you look at the entire cryptocurrency existence you can see that it has only 10 years as you said it yourself. Imagine what another 10 years will bring to cryptocurrency. The estimated cryptocurrency user around the world is roughly 100 million and I think in the next 10 years shall see more than 2 billion people using cryptocurrency.

basically now all these exchanges are used not by people who use cryptocurrency in real life but by miners / traders and investors

I think its growing. And you have to see the whole map in 2-3 years scale not 1 -2 months then you can understand. And when almost every big tech faint is thinking about it and want to adopt it thats more an the whole thing is growing. And people are showing their interest in blocckchain and crypto.

The adoption rate of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is massively increasing daily, but I think this is not reflecting on the prices because of the inconsistencies the market is having this minute. I  believe that this mass adoption will begin to reflect on the prices, and cause them to grow as soon as the market is stable again.

Yes mass adoption is increasing gradually, the only issue is, it is not growing at a fast pace. I came across a post where Samsung is already working on Implementing blockchain to their upcoming phones also I came across a News where LG is already making plans to follow suit. The reason why this mass adoption of a thing is taking time is that, most developers nowadays only care for themselves thus not caring about the project they are developing while already existing platforms outside this space are getting involved so sooner than later the mass adoption we are glamouring for will happen.

In general, I agree with you. However, there are many platforms that have nothing, but idea. And some repeat others and so on. So of course, great to see not only new technology, but also innovation on an industry

Yeah, sure. Existing blockchains work well for value transfer, especially in an anonymous way. But the decisions about those transfers are made in a social context, that's not recorded on the public ledger, and that's what the guys are bringing in with UOS and DPoI. And if we are talking about decision-making in a decentralized network, a reputation system is required to make that process fast and cost-effective, and the system should also de a decentarlized one.
