Mass adoption growing or decreasing?

As cryptocurrencies goin mainstream I have no doubt that adoption is increasing. There are a lot of factors that contribute to its growth not to mention with the help of social media too spreading awareness or simply talking to your neighbors and friends about crypto will made small impacts. 10 years from now it will different maybe half of the global population might be talking about it.

I think mass adoption of cryptocurrency is gradually increasing because big companies, businesses as well as government are being interested and exploring block chain technologies. We can see Facebook is currently introducing their own coin and others will follow for sure.

This is an undeniable fact. Cryptocurrency adoption is increasing and this can be seen from the fact that big companies like Samsung has integrated cryptocurrency wallet into the S10 phone. This is a great milestone achievement in the crypto space. Facebook has also considered going crypto and there is no doubts about the huge number of users facebook can introduce to crypto.

To be honest, there is no increase in Mass adoption especially in this environment. It's more or less like a decrease. 2017 bull market brought in massive number of crypto adopters and in the same manner 2018 bear market took all back leaving the space with the same figure as it was before 2017. 2018 was brutal and only the diehard crypto enthusiasts are left trying to stay afloat. People are not ready to get back in and people already in are not willing to bring in people for the fear of what damage the uncertainty in the market can cause to new adopters.

There might not be any increase in Mass adoption anytime soon because of how badly the coins are doing this year.

I wouldn’t say the mass adoption is over. It is still going on, and people are coming to know more and more about crypto. Let’s hope that the crypto world will dominate the future market in every possible way.

Yeah market will be good once again. I know some coins had dump but it really did not affect the value and the importance of crypto. Even I disagree with you massively crypto is being adopted now which increases the price higher. We should keep on buying more it is best time for it as after only few years we will see the price of Bitcoin at top, still people trust crypto market.

It might not be that good. There is not that much demand for the coins out nowadays.

I read somewhere 6 in 10 Americans had heard of Bitcoin in 2018 but 5% of Americans have used it, thereby I think at least 60%-70% of world population heard about Cryptocurrency in 2019 and 90% of them thinks Crypto is useless and a bubble. People know about it but nobody owns any. fortunately, mass adoption is more than hearing about something and it's mostly a slow process. General population should have a correct understanding of what Crypto actually is and the very basics of how it works. They should know about Blockchain technology and ledger that would serve as the basis for better calculating balance of payments and fast transactions. After that fiat currencies become less and less attractive due to their significant problems, and Crypto becomes more attractive through the advancement of it's technology. it will make "mass adoption" growing and builds a trillion of USD at Crypto's marketcap.

Compare to past 10 years there is great adoption of crypto. You will find news that many country around the globe are accepting digital coins. Big companies like Facebook are lunching their own coins that's a one sign of crypto adoption.

Of course, before only bitcoin and other famous coins or tokens have been seen to grow massively. But now, mass adoption is improving on some altcoins, but what Ive been disappointed is the copy paste concept of most new projects. I wish regulations are set or patent should be strongly implemented since we are just increasing the same concept project. It is possible and vice versa that many companies will accept 100 different cryptocurrencies. And Bitcoin will be so expensive that companies will choose another alternative to the cryptocurrency market.

Of course, it's increasing. Last time, I checked  Energi Whitepaper and i saw a news like "mass adaption rate is %0.05 for now" but that article was written last year. I bet mass adaption rates are much more than at this moment. I never saw a bitcoin our other cryptocurrencies ATMs but I can clearly say that you can buy many services with cryptocurrencies. Like VPN services, travel tickets, gift boxes, food and many more.

Obviously mass adoption has grown.

There are now bitcoin ATMs in malls, bitcoin accepted here signs everywhere, and even simply more wallets and transactions (enough to cause transaction fees to rise!). It continues to grow and we can only imagine how much larger it will be in the near future. Bitcoin is still a pretty solid investment if you ask me.

This has been growing steadfastly but sometimes declined for some reasons, just like what had happened to bearish market trend that took so long for years. Typical it decreased adoption and then recover back, because traders including holders will be buying back once there's a sign of price increase so it could trigger demand to rise. Using bitcoin as mode of payment on some goods had a great impact to our community, how much more if more countries around the world will patronized cryptocurrency.

Ten years ago, only a few hundred or even dozens of cryptographers knew about Bitcoins. Now millions of people own and use Bitcoin, and hundreds of millions have heard about Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies at least once in their lives. Is it not possible to call the introduction of cryptocurrencies to the masses?

Tell me, how many services accepted cryptocurrency for payment at least 5 years ago? Very little. What time is it now? Not all but many, and the trend is inexorably moving towards the fact that everyone will accept cryptocurrency in the future. Large giants are now creating their own digital currencies, you are entering the era of digital money, which means that mass adaptation is already hanging in the air and knocking on our windows.

Forbes released an article last year that highlighted 100 major companies exploring blockchain. They recently dove a bit deeper and figured out 50 companies that are valued at over $1 billion that are spending millions on research and development of blockchain, cryptocurrencies and their use cases. If anyone says mass adoption is slowing down, they are crazy. This begs the question, though,,,, Is this the kind of mass adoption we want?

Going by the presence of blockchain for 10 years now, I think I will say adoption is growing gradually. With time people will get to accept the technology. Atleast bitcoin is gradually being used as a means of payment  gradually altcoins will follow.

As from my own perspective point of view mass adoption is increasing. There are lots of bitcoin Atm machine out there right now as compared to before.

The increase in adoption also led to the increase in bitcoin atm machine,  more people are now aware of bitcoin, also lots of banks are now adopting the blockchain technology
