As time goes by it increases. There are more and more people are getting involved in crypto. Not to mention companies, establishments, financial institutions and countries that are starting to adopt crypto. It will naturally spread as time goes by, crypto will be massively used and some companies might be establishing their own coins using blockchain tech in their business.

Not yet indeed, but it's still in the process. Adoptions will take place as many people around the world are already being exposed with this new system.
With more to come and start to do business using crypto it will bring more awareness, it will create new interest and establishments and businesses will also acknowledge how process being done using the blockchain.
End users will dictate the state of this industry, but so far it's doing good to attract more potential supporters to learn and adopt the system.

    We have a good direction, we are going to be crypto-society one day, it means full adoption will happen. When, how,
we can only speculate about that, but with time we are closer to that.
   Popularity of crypto-currencies is higher every year. With time, everything needs time for developing, crytrpto-currencies
will be suitable for mass usage, for now many of them are facing with problems. Scalability, transaction delays, fake projects,
price manipulations.
   In future everyone will use crypto-currencies, I`m sure in that part. I`m not sure which crypto-currencies will be the on
top!

Leaving the house you will not be able to buy coffee in the nearest store for crypto, but in all major cities there are places where it can be done. Many countries support and also many still prohibit. that's why it can happen and in my opinion it is quite natural to happen if we see that cryptocurrency is slow but surely many things can change the lives of everyone

The paradox is that Russia also bans cryptocurrency (as I understand it), but at the same time holds elections to the local Duma on the basis of the blockchain. And since blockchain technologies began to be tested at such a level, then payment in supermarkets with the help of crypto did not remain long.

It is obvious that worldwide adoption is definitely happening although it's happening at a seemingly snail's pace, but the recent development in China and other world governments giving Cryptocurrency the attention it deserves has proven that crypto us gradually going mainstream, another fact worth noting is that more and more businesses worldwide are accepting Cryptocurrency payments, if this isn't progress, I don't know what is.

What is now being adopted is not a cryptocurrency, but the blockchain system contained in cryptocurrency. I see a lot of companies trying to emulate the blockchain system, with the main goal being to develop their own currency.

Only very few develop their own currency though and it's overhyped in the media. Most of companies are trying to implement blockchain into their system to achieve certain point of efficiency and not for releasing a cryptocurrency. You must know that cryptos is only one product of what blockchain could do and blockchain can solve the problem on many sector of companies including documents verification and many more. That's why so many companies are interested on developing the blockchain into the next level for the sake of efficiency.

We also saw the expansion of cryptocurrency in many other industries but not all cryptocurrencies are welcome to the world market. At most cases and aside from btc, eth and other top ranking coins are the only ones that are being integrated and adopted. It will still be a long road before people can enjoy the full functionality of block chain technology but it is just also a matter of time.

Definitely mass adoption is increasing and yes, 10 years ago the situation was much worse. But if we compare this year with 2017 - I am not sure the result will be the same

Mass adoption ? We're barely of adoption so we will have to wait a few more years until mass-adoption can slowly begin on altcoins. Even with Bitcoin we're not at a mass-adoption era and it goes on that percentage whenever a bull run occur as people get impatient and panic buy starts to install. For altcoins, most of them won't even reach the adoption phase so making a bold statement like mass-adoption for altcoins must be covered with some real factors and I personally cannot see even 1.

We're on a positive trend when it comes to adoption. Those that can see the positivity on that don't want to look at the current state of cryptocurrencies. The progress is continuous and there will be more adoptions to come in the future.
Think of this, the retail investors are starting to come in and we're all expecting them to come.

If we compare with ten years ago, in my opinion cryptocurrency is growing because we can see that many people are getting to know and know about cryptocurrency and the increasing number of people participating in cryptocurrency, even though cryptocurrency is very volatile. But, many people can benefit from cryptocurrency.

Back then the number of people who knew about it was very minute, using bitcoin as a case study, so many never heard of Bitcoin not to talk of it's uses but now so many know about it even though they ate are yet to accept it. not at all. it has not even started adoption, let alone mass adoption because none of them have yet focused on utilities and usability so far.

i wouldn't call it "mass" adoption but there is a lot of hype going on specially with Facebook creating its own shitcoin soon. there certainly is a lot of other companies, banks and even countries government trying to adopt the technology.

I agree with your opinion, every year the number of countries that adopt bitcoin continues to increase. and for blockchain technology is also highly developed, many banks, governments, companies and industries are replacing their systems with blockchain technology. blockchain technology makes data or money transactions faster, safer and cheaper. that's why every year the number of countries adopting bitcoin is increasing.

Mass adoption of Bitcoin is so far growing as it has been recognized now by some popular companies and establishments. Mass adoption of it on my country is so far stuck, there were plenty of establishments accepting it when it reached ATH last 2017 but since its value went down so those who used it also went down. If I were to count who uses BTC as payment, it'll probably won't reach 10 in my area. BTC is stable nowadays so I guess it is still good. As for altcoins, no sign of adoption at all.

There's been growing attention to bitcoin, but I'm not so sure adoption has been steadily increasing.  I still don't see a lot of physical stores that take it, and even online adoption for purchases has stagnated.  There have been a number of businesses that have even stopped taking it.  Things are much better when compared to 8 to 10 years ago, but adoption has leveled off in my opinion.

not at all. it has not even started adoption, let alone mass adoption because none of them have yet focused on utilities and usability so far.

You're right about that, except that alts make good trading tools but that's about it.  There are *very* few businesses that accept altcoins, and percentage wise you could probably round the number down to 0%.  And I doubt that's going to change in the near future.  It'll probably never change.

The bitcoin price still getting stuck at 9k rate right now and that stabilization can be considered as adoption for bitcoin. ETF and BAKKT market has already proven if the adoption is still continue. Mass adoption needs the time and it will not come instantly. People must understood about that. dotcom has not adopted by people instantly too in the past.
as long as the progress is still continue and it will keep growing.

I think price volatility is one of the main obstacles that prevent mass adoption of cryptocurrencies for those stores, not lower rate. So we need to come up with a more stable asset, and they could use Tether. the dollar seems like the most stable option right now, which does not live with the underlying principles this type of technology was founded upon. Seems like one of the only solutions would be for a cryptocurrency’s value to be proportional to an underlying asset, like Tether with USD.

However I think centralized entities cannot help stabilize decentralized things, maybe just ruin them. But adoption is the only thing that will make crypto less volatile, and governments can help by passing regulations against scammers and force exchanges to have solid teams and keep liquidity and so on, as major price fluctuation comes from major scams or major exchanges and whales.

I didn't know of a big adoption 10 years before, because I wasn't there yet. I only know that in 2017 it was also news from my friend. he said mass adoption happened in 2017 when the price of bitcoin surged so many newcomers joined it.
