That's why they are in top of the food chain, reason being that they have a strong fundamentals from behind. Those coins that die or nearly dying are coins that is being used for P&D schemes.

But can Some coins just disapere?  Or Go to Zero?

If devs are not that active for a long time and they got delisted then they can consider be as dead coins already.

Altcoin investors panic because the altcoin market is not recovering. And they just move to bitcoin today because there is where the money right now.

Of course altcoins disappear. They go to zero. And many that are not zero and have not disappeared are only there because some holder makes a fake order, and then takes it himself,,, do not buy altcoins indiscriminately, you will surely regret it when you see the value go to zero. This is not a joke!

They maybe bleeding but they aren't dead yet, there are still a lot of altcoisn that has a potential to rise again, I believe on that as I am still holding an altcoins in my MEW wallet. I don't want to negatively judge the current market situation because based on my experience here, I'm confident that this drought of altcoins will soon be over.

Altcoins bleeding is not something to fear for me, but it's something to celebrate because this could provide a buying opportunity for us.
Believe me, this will be over soon as new surprises are about to come, #HODL.

any altcoin that is useless can "disappear" easily.
it has happened many times in the past. you can check the snapshots of the market over the past ~8-9 years to see which coins were considered "top" and are not even around anymore.

That Altcoin has a good trading volume, I think it will be hard to return zero. The market is now bleeding, but we also see that Bitcoin does not suffer a sharp decline. The average altcoin already on the Exchange list will slowly grow. I would argue that the Altcoin season will arrive and I will not be selling altcoins.

Perhaps this is a new prediction that by the end of the year and enters the year 2020 the season of Altcoin will return.

I do not expect the altseason earlier than in a year. As we can see, interest in altcoins is declining. After BTC shows a long uptrend, investors will begin to return to altcoins. But it will not be soon. Bitcoin is just getting ready for growth, after about halving.

I agree with you on this.  Whenever an altcoin crash, it is always a good idea to buy them but we must consider some things. If ever we are planning to buy an altcoin we must do a thorough research about them, check their development, community,  project team member, the volume, and the demand.

There are lots of altcoin that have gone to zero or worthless.  They maybe once active but eventually several altcoins are delisted from exchanges and since there is no way to trade it, this altcoin die naturally.

Take a breath mate...I know you are in trouble by now, take time to relax sometimes in order to refresh your mind.

Bitcoin still dominating the market and we can't certainly deny it ever since and ain't no wonder that altcoins remain the underdog.
Countless numbers of altcoins are dead by now or we could say no market value. I don't say this is an unusual thing but it becomes usual this time. This is the common result from the greediness of some developers, they only look for their own benefits but not looking for the benefits of the entire crypto space.

Yeah that is true altcoins are bleeding this current days but is doesn't mean the top altcoins possible to become zero value, but noting doubt there have altcoins possible to become zero value for that coins came from the lower list in the coin market cap.

All depends on the quality of the coin. And if the coin is already in the top rankings, I think it will be safe and not return to zero.

Which I have experienced so far that many coins to zero because it has poor quality. These coins are hard to find buyers. If the Altcoin season comes back, all the coins have the potential to grow bigger. So with the dominance of Bitcoin is now better focused on Bitcoin, and hold your Altcoin.

Most of the coins are completely empty, without use, without a sound economic model. In my opinion, many projects are still overestimated. Do you remember who and how much promised during the ICO, and where are their promises, what have they achieved? I think the alt market will explode, but this is pure speculation.
Too few worthwhile projects.
And about the bottom. Often I hear that now it’s exactly the bottom. I heard this in the summer and the spring and the winter and now. The funny thing is that often these are the same people.
Maybe now is a good time to buy, maybe not. I do not know. A lot depends on bitcoin. I am waiting for the alt hype after bitcoin beats ATH.

No, it won't disappear as long as development is still ongoing
I mean if we were to look at a coin without looking at it's $$(Fiat Value), it doesn't change anything
For example for Ethereum, regardless if Ethereum is $1 or $1,000
As long as you were to run a smart contract function or transfer from wallet to wallet, you would need Ethereum as Gas to perform transaction

Hence, it won't disappear imo
Price might go down lower and lower but it won't disappear

Altcoin is bleeding heavily now because most BTC related instruments like ETFs, Futures are the first to be implemented
Thus, more trust and more confident for people to start investing into BTC than Alts

Altcoin will be staying at the market no matter bitcoin moves because of the altcoin are helping bitcoin to increase and attract more people to come into cryptocurrency. If the altcoin disappears from the market, then I don't think bitcoin will be staying for a long time. Perhaps, some of the weak altcoins will disappear because they can not survive, and they lose their support from the community and the people.

The red candle in the market will be a good time to buy, and I agree that. But you don't have to panic to see the altcoin down because the altcoin will survive from the red candle and it will change to the green candle.

If the majority is following bitcoin, I would be willing to go against that. Because the volatility of Bitcoin is increasingly unpredictable, signal data is no longer available in the past few days.
Therefore, the risk of bitcoin transactions is increasing. I would choose to buy altcoins when its price drops instead of trying to follow the trend.

What makes those coins you see at the top is not because of the position they occupy but because of the solid team that are behind them and it is because they are very active in promoting their products and making sure that it is useful to the public, that is why you could see them there, but there is possibility of them really dropping down if the team become less active.

Aside those ones that are faking volume and probably tipping those who are listing them for the position, other projects can drop, but some of them are also being sustained right now because their investors has already lost parts of their investment to bear market, so they would wait till the market probably recovers, that is why they might not drop to zero now.

What is your basis? It seems like altcoins is still not moving or showing signs of bull run and I hope I'm wrong and it will surprise us.
I agree with buying currently since the value is really cheap but I am not seeing what you are seeing that the bull run is already around the corner.

My basis for my analysis is when BTC will have its ATH, that way, the market will be lively and possibly there might be another FOMO again.
We like that to happen so majority of our altcoins will again live and prosper, for now, it still not moving well, some even worth very cheap already, like my holdings which I hold only 10% to 20% from the original value I bought them.

I agree with your point that the Altcoins market are really crowded now that this altcoin market bleeding will identify those shitcoins that need to disappear in the market so that the remaining will be the stable coins for the few Altcoins investors who are really divided because of so many Altcoins to choose in the market.
