Yes, the really bad ones will do one or the other eventually, as people lose interest in them and figure out that there's nobody mining them and isn't a market for them.  It's already happened to a lot of coins that yobit gives away for free.

That's a good idea but only if you pick the right coins.  Any of them worth 15 sat or less (and that's only my estimation) are doomed.  It's funny because dogecoin has always had a low valuation in terms of satoshis but it still retains a very strong, supportive community.  But dogecoin is an exception to the rule.  Very cheap coins are usually priced that way for a dam good reason, meaning that they hold little value.  Either stick to bitcoin or to the top coins on coinmarketcap.

Obviously that's what you should do if you see some value on the altcoins that are dropping.

And it's hard to see that value sometimes, because there are so many coins in existence and nobody knows which ones are even going to survive.  It's a great idea to buy low and sell high, but you have to pick the right coins.  That's the really hard part for any trader/investor.

If we look at the movement of bitcoin prices that continue to rise lately, it is only natural altcoins bleeding. I think that's very normal,
because if the price of bitcoin rises then automatically bitcoin is very dominant compared to altcoins. With so many investors whose
funds are in altcoins were moved to bitcoin, this is what caused altcoins bleeding. But after bitcoin prices are stable / side away then
investors this will move the funds to altcoins for trading, now the price of altcoins will gradually rise. It's like crypto market conditions,
so no need to panic to see altcoins bleeding.

I think the last 3 days altcoins good movement, bitcoin is currently stable at 9,1 - 9,2 and altcoins looks agile. I've made profits from many alts lately from daytrading but not much. 2-3% each trade is still viable on this current market condition. I'm sure it will still last for this week before the next bitcoin movement and we have to take advantage of this condition

This discussion thread is the mirror of the market volatility. Reading it from the very beginning to the end (although it is short enough), we will see that altcoins can fall and go up several times a month. In reality, 2019 is a positive and good year for all cryptocurrencies (in comparison with 2018, for sure).

But the altcoin market continues to show some sign of bleeding, most of them are -90% from their previous high, so there's no improvement because we are still in the bear market. Altcoin right now is being carried by Bitcoin, because it was obviously that when Bitcoin price goes up, the price of major altcoins followed just like what we've seen recently. And with that said, this bleeding will stop unless Bitcoin goes to another pump up to the end of the year and then we will see what happen after the block halvening and hope that when Bitcoin goes to another all time high, it will also trickle down to altcoin market.

maybe in general the performance of price developments in investments with such cryptocurrency and the development of crypto or altcoin currencies depends on the investors themselves if indeed bitcoin goes up but investors remain on the belief with altcoin maybe the value of altcoin will not decrease and all that may have become a trait and investment risks with crypto or altcoin

We absorbed this type of situation previously, but with the recent bitcoin recovery, it is impossible for the altcoin to rise because Bitcoin fluctuation is kept increasing and it is effecting on the altcoins. Yes, your prediction is right when the price of Bitcoin is becoming stable then the altcoin will start increasing their prices.

If some altcoins will not have trade volume people will not have interest and they will dissappear, i mean will not be used anymore by anyone, even they are holders, traders, but most of us complain because the altcoins price drop and not grow so we recover investments, and bitcoin recover but altcoins still no.

Yeah I admit your future thinking prediction for altcoins , same with mate I still believe altcoins specially came from the top laitung into coin market cap will give better profits before end of this year. We saw altcoins today is have a good sign for the bullrun which possible if bitcoin continue to increasing.
