Most of the project that I know is that  they are looking for VC's, and that they are putting their own money. If a certain project really believe in his project, for sure he will devote his time and money for this, with this way, IEO/ICO investors will find their project interesting as the owners are not just relying for their investors.

So, if I will have to look for IEO project, will consider this as an option before investing.

Basicly the project to keep legit is profitable.
Not only for investor also for customer. We don't need talk about scam project, that is already known the reason of scam project, they want run with investor money.

What makes you say a project is good? By definition if it was actually good, then it would probably not fail. Most likely, it is failing probably because the project doesn't have real world purpose or has been abandoned by profiteering developers.

Aside from this, i don't think altcoins that have ICOs are good projects at all because an ICO seems like such a scammy way to get funding. If it had a real purpose and value in this world then VC capitalists would easily pick it up and fund it as a startup.

Absolutely! Investors are now skeptical in new projects because they already got a mindset that projects nowadays are scam, and as a result, most of ICOs got lesser investors. Less investors means poor future for the project and then the ones who invested on such project thought it was a scam. After that, the FUD and bad news will spread so fast across the community which makes other prospective investors back out and the cycle repeats over again.

Lots of good projects that die because of Dev's own mistakes, such as the thing that discounts for ICOS, projects do not have innovative from other projects, listings on exchanges that do not have good supply and demand.
