No, the scammers have nothing to do with it. It's just that a lot of new projects have started to appear recently and the competition has grown. Therefore, good projects were lost in the background of many other projects. Investors understand this and they are now less willing to invest their money.
Wait, what? Do you understand what you have said? Of course, scammers and scam project made a big impact on the current deterring of cryptocurrency. Investors are doubting crypto because of scam accusations which is the result of these scheme.

The difficult truth is we are losing all the more new crypto investors to new ventures that winds up been a scam project , new activities are the greatest danger to crypto space totally on the grounds that disappointment has turned into their propensities, too many scam undertakings will make crypto need behind

There were many shit projects from 2017-now shit projects make people affraid of investing in crypto. from most shit projects, then, people think that all project is scam we can't blame investor who do generalize. they have right to invest/not in anything dev must change, regulation is needed, at least for reducing scammer in this space

That is what ultimately made the price of cryptocurrency be destroyed and many of them deflected the name of cryptocurrency because there were so many scam projects that made the cryptocurrency name worse, what had happened had been difficult to recover again.

I think, rugulations will solve the topic to great extent
Regulation-will be a "double-edged sword" as the bodies exercising control will represent and defend the interests of a particular "player" whether it is a country or a global Corporation. And from such regulation, there will be no benefit for the crypto community.

I am someone who lost my hard earned money to some of these scams. But rather than complaining or whining about it, I used that experience as a lesson in life. It is not right to put 100% of the blame on the scammers. A part of the blame should be shared by the victims themselves. Because their own greed and carelessness enabled the scammers to carry out the operation.

That's right. Imagine that you will have a superb idea for crypto and use of its blockchain (totally not a scam) - but the new legislation will not allow you to come to the public with it unless you meet requirements which simply cannot be met by a group of developers not backed by a multi-million companies. Many projects with a huge potential would not come to existence, or some of their solutions will not come from what users really need - but what corporation accountants dictate. This could ruin the industry. We already see that in the gaming industries. Smaller studios known for some genres and legendary titles are purchased by the big corporations and after couple of years these titles and genres are abandoned as not giving as much revenue as expected (even if they generate profits!).

Not everyone has left the market but the majority of those that came to this market at the end of 2017 thinking they were going to get rich quickly and that did not cared about this market have without a doubt left the market already and most likely they are never going to comeback.
But there are still many people like us that are still invested in bitcoin and that are never going to leave the market but in order to protect our funds we have left the market of icos forever.
Perhaps the bearish phase during 2018-19 helped the market to get rid of non-serious investors and those who wanted to become a millionaire in two days. Even here in Bitcointalk, I am seeing fewer spammy posts (a part of the credit should be given to the merit system though). Those who were serious about cryptocurrency invested their money in genuine coins such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. Those who were not serious, invested in the numerous shitcoins and lost all of their money when the market went down. That is what all markets do, many people came to this market thinking about becoming rich really quickly because they saw all the profits that people that were invested in this market were having and they wanted the same for themselves. But they did not really cared about bitcoin or the market of cryptocurrencies in general, they only wanted to get money and that is not really a healthy attitude when it comes to this market because as we know those that have gotten the most profits are those that really believe that bitcoin and the blockchain will change the world.

from every side, fraudulent projects almost killed the entire cryptoqurrency space including project investor confidence. actually not only now, but fraud projects have existed since then and still continue today. we can't eliminate it completely but we can still avoid it by not participating in suspicious projects.

There's a lots of scammers and more to come since they are seeing the big benefits once they've able to execute their projects and reached investors to invest with them. It's really killing everything and sending away most of the potential from people who experienced scammed results. It's hard nowadays to entrust your money only those who have strong faith and still optimistic are the one who able to continue to invest in.

I am hoping that sooner or later the projects will be more filtered so that investors would learn how to trust a project again. Some other project are affected to those scam project. They lost all of their investors because investors are afraid that the money that they invested might get lost or become a part of a scam.

This is one of the reasons on why some investors doesn't prepare to invest in cryptocurrency because of those scam projects and i believe that this might take while for this scam project to be fully removed in crypto world.
That's why they need to learn and have knowledge in which is the best way to avoid this projects and because some of the developer are taking advantage of those new people in cryptocurrency which is really bad and that is affecting and stop the bull to happen.

It is no news that scammers are killing crypto space. Crypto space has lost it value as a result of so many scam activities that have spread all over the crypto space from Dev to managers and also to hunters. The only way to reduce scam is not to fall victim of it.

yes. The fraud project has killed the entire cryptoqurrency space and reflects a bad image on the ICO project. investors have now lost confidence again and not many are taking part in the ico project anymore. Today's investors prefer to invest with crypto rather than with the ico project.

All are wasted because of scam projects. Money, Time, Effort, Resources, Skills, Talents and More!
Also there are destroying the following: Reputation, Trust, Confidence, Hope and Future.
We must stand against those people who are really intend to scam people. If we stand together, I think there will be hope and a future.

scam project is indirectly very killing because it can have a bad effect on crypto, especially if the victim comes from an enthusiastic investor who wants to study investment, there clearly it will give a high distrust effect especially if the scammer manages to take millions of dollars from investor money.

Scam projects really affect the entire crypto space, say the majority of these projects since most turn out to be not profitable and fraud. But not all projects are a scam, there projects that really stand out, the example is the major top coins. Though there are more bad eggs from the o good ones, still there are investors willing to support a good project.

There are more and more scammers and greedy people in the crypto space, and there are fewer gullible investors. There are fewer completely new ideas with a real program. The investor needs to work hard that to find a strong and honest team.
Yes, and the very difficult thing is to find a strong and honest team in crypto, because everyone involved in crypto is looking to make the most profit.

Scam projects have indeed damaged and nearly killed many legitimate cryptocurrencies. The entire crypto space has been affected even though it will never be “killed” by these. There are many well-informed and powerful persons and well-established companies that have committed themselves to the blockchain. However, 2019 saw the least amount of money that went to ICOs. Nevertheless, a lot of big companies have already begun investing heavily in blockchain. Crypto will never be dead as long as there will be people who are well aware of the schemes of scammers. we found this ADN blog very helpful in verifying the legitimacy of any ICO.
