What are we really investing in bitcoin?

People are investing in bitcoin because the saw bitcoin as an investment opportunity. Bitcoin was invented only 10 years ago and yet the most profitable investment for the last 10 years. Bitcoin has a huge potential and a room to grow in the future.

I think investors more often use bitcoin as a place for investment because they think that bitcoin has a very good price movement and has very high demand so investors use it to get lots of profits and the many platforms that can receive payments using bitcoin are also one of the reasons of investors.

Yes, because bitcoin is an asset, an asset where we can make a profit that is also good for long term investment.
It is an asset where we value, not only because it's valuable but also because of its use. It is a type of asset which is worth investing in.

Bitcoin investors realize the bitcoin potential for the future that is why they are investing in bitcoin. If you look at the bitcoin price history you can see the bitcoin price has grown from a few cents to almost $20,000 in less than 10 years. Imagine, how much the bitcoin price would be in the next 10 years. People are investing in bitcoin because they believe in bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the most adopted and most recognized cryptocurrency and therefore it is essentially a measurement of the health of this economy. If someone is going to invest in a cryptocurrency, they will most likely start with Bitcoin and hold more of their portfolio in Bitcoin.

Buying and accumulating of bitcoin is more of investing in it at least I wouldn't worry about any savings in my bank I feel secured with my bitcoin in my wallet and I am having access to it at any time. More so investing in bitcoin will secure our future financially I believed a time will come when the price of bitcoin will stand at $50K+ thus early adopters and the present ones will have the cause of recouping a lot of profits.

We are investing on bitcoin because we think it will gain massive adoption in the future, and since it has its fix supply that are slowly reducing, that would give great opportunity for the price to rise as the demand increases. We are not investing because it's profitable, we are investing because we believe on its potential to grow, think that you are investing in google or amazon at its early stage, and therefore you will get great reward in the future.

how about the other financial assets in the market that they can utilize freely? It is in the matter of characteristics and capabilities that determines why people is still intact to bitcoin despite of its huge market transaction fee. Let's take for example is the market price and volatility, but other than these, it is the name 'bitcoin' is one of the factors that makes it even more popular. In terms of computers and digital technology, we can always associate bits to data and in real life, coin to money. In this case, bitcoin takes the majority of currency in terms of being digital.

In my opinion this is because of the huge profit that we will make here in the long term hold. So many people are still trying to invest in bitcoin because they believe that they will be as rich as the ones who invested earlier.
At present bitcoin has no clear destination, as the government insists it will control for the better.

I think bitcoin has many benefits, and I'm sure bitcoin has a bright future. I wonder for sure that someday bitcoin will become a global transaction tool that is recognized by the whole world. isn't it very natural if people want to invest with bitcoin when someone has such beliefs. and people who believe that bitcoin is the future, they surely imagine that prices will definitely be high due to growing demand, while the amount of bitcoin is limited. I think that is one of the reasons for investors to invest with bitcoin.

Same with your analysis, Bitcoin is promising since the potential to rise in terms of getting higher value is always possible, it's been proven for that past 10years of it's existence. The volatility and all those up and down movements gave investors the reason to invest inside this industry. there are many reason, most people use bitcoin for trading and get profit, some people use for transaction (buy and pay using BTC).
some people buy and hold it for longterm, but i think it not worth it if you just hold in little amount, say it if you buy with 100$ -500$, and hold it for 2 or 3 years and lets say you got 3x profit with investing 100$ and make 300$ for 3 years it not worth.

However, no one seems to open up something like that in this thread. Majority of investment in bitcoin is to make a profit, not only for short term but most is for long term.
As for me, I am investing for my own security. Securing my future to assure that I have enough savings as long as I am still young and able to work while having bitcoin in our sight.

We've seen it a year of 2017 on how the crypto increase the price rapidly.
Thats the time of bitcoin we saw it in a first time reach to $17k.

I do not know if this will be a beginning for us to invest, Maybe it is true cause one of us in here are started to invest bitcoin because they heard about bitcoin trying to touch again a price of $20k or more than that in the coming year.
