When I attempt to log in "Sorry Indamuck, you are banned from posting or sending personal messages on this forum.
You have been permanently banned by a forum moderator, probably due to spam or plagiarism. You may appeal here, but your chances are not good

I only have this account   I have been here since 2013, spent a lot of my life here., never stole money from anyone or committed plagiarism.

I know this is just a forum to some people but my heart sank when I logged in to that message.

I'm not denying that I know some of those people, (some I'm related to) , myself though I only have 1 forum account.    All you can really do is believe what I'm saying, I'm not guilty of ban evasion or any other ban worthy offence.

Could be related: Question for DTs ad red tag on all addresses in a single Bitcoin wallet.

If I have found a wallet with 30 addresses and I have the proof that the owner of the wallet cheated with 10 or more accounts, do you will tag all accounts on the wallet?

My investigation is ongoing but this person has around 30 accounts on the same wallet, maybe a lot more looking on the merit suspicious history.

Basically, he used the low ranked accounts to abuse this survey from @hampuz https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5050824.0

And skipped it with the good accounts.

I tend to believe the blockchain more than the "friends and family" excuse but it's really not up to me. You can appeal via e-mail to the address shown in your ban message.

That is what I'm saying, I'm not dumb and I know with linked addresses people are going to automatically assume wrongdoing rather than innocence.

You know that and you still share a wallet with 15+ other users?

Only with immediate family , Bitbustah is my brother ( he is ok with my revealing this info), he was also using different addresses on the wallet for his runescape clan. ( he just told them what addresses to use for pooled funds, those people didn't have access to the wallet.) now looks like this has gotten me into hot water.

I know I should of avoided this headache in the first place but didn't think it would really matter, it was only small amounts of money anyways.

I don't know what the truth is here, but obviously a mod agrees with the blockchain-linkage evidence and I think you're going to have a hard time appealing their decision.

I never understood why people would share a wallet, even with family members--especially with a relative like a sibling.  Where I'm from, even spouses generally keep separate bank accounts and I've never even heard of brothers sharing a banking account or otherwise mingling their finances in any way.  It just seems very unlikely, especially with crypto where it's so easy to create your own wallet.  That's one of the reasons I tend to disbelieve people when they say they're sharing a wallet with someone else.

What was your purpose in doing that, OP?

I suppose I am from a different upbringing.  My family has always been very sharing with each other, we trust each other with everything.  Spouses having separate bank accounts sounds messed up to me.

Since the amounts we are talking about were not significant ,I didn't think much of it.

It would be slightly more believable if you hadn't removed the btc addresses from your alts' profile pages after the accusations against you:

I looked at all those accounts and some of them haven't even logged on after the accusation thread was made.

Also I have moved over to segwit awhile ago now, it is what I've been using on the forum recently.

Accusations aside, I feel like this user has been an overall constructive addition to the forum and may be worth a second chance. Perhaps Hhampuz can weigh in on this since he effectively represents the damaged party.

One thing bugs me here, it is this scam accusation https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2867070.0 (I didn't check other scam accusations). Also, user left positive feedback here but seems they also scammed someone. I am not sure what conclusion to make yet, correct me if I am wrong but it looks like fake positive feedback.

Anyway, there is plenty of threads to read before just saying that someone is "overall good", and, no one can just ignore wallet shared with scammer but I have feeling that whole story is going around ban and scam accusation is ignored, here, and in the other thread. Makes me wonder...

Another thing which bugs me here is this:

BitBustah's post history: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=610371;sa=showPosts
Indamuck's post history: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=89794;sa=showPosts
33bitcoin's post history: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=945378;sa=showPosts
angel55's post history: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1192695;sa=showPosts
(i'll stop here)

Bitbustah isn't my only relative that has used this forum,  2 spaces after sentences, guess that isn't the standard for most people.

Interestingly enough my brothers's video game addiction is the cause of this, his association with runescape members who probably aren't that ethical.

Okay, we may not be a full 100% sure of the truth, but in reality we all know that it's 99.9% certain that he just created multiple accounts to take advantage of that measly $3 reward.
Sharing an address with one person, okay, but with 12 other people? No way...

I share an address with my spouse, but I would also never use that to double dip on some reward.

Yeah, I think I'm 99.9% sure that you will not get unbanned, better start greasing up that Reddit account if I were you.
And don't doxx yourself, do you really want your supposed IRL identity tied to this unsavory behavior?

Would like to get a response on what exactly the ban was for because isn't trust tagging someone the usual action if they want to deem guilty by association, also would just like to get a definite response on whether I will remain permanently banned or if it will be overturned.

I only have this account

It always starts off with "this is my only account", but then as we quickly see the oh, every member of my extended family has an account here and half the village. We just share the same wallet but we're not alts.

I'm not denying that I know some of those people, (some I'm related to) , myself though I only have 1 forum account.    All you can really do is believe what I'm saying, I'm not guilty of ban evasion or any other ban worthy offence.

Ahh, the classic they're not my alts but my friends/family/cousin/dog's accounts. Care to list all the accounts of your friends and family here so we can avoid confusion?

I know I should of avoided this headache in the first place but didn't think it would really matter, it was only small amounts of money anyways.

They usually don't. It's just pretty much the only possible excuse they can use here when they get caught. What else can they claim to explain away the fact that they're all sharing wallets amongst other things?

Bitbustah isn't my only relative that has used this forum,  2 spaces after sentences, guess that isn't the standard for most people.

Oh, video game addiction is the cause. That's a new one to the list of excuses. How is a video game addiction the cause of this and why is it your brothers fault? Is he the one that's been getting up to all the mischief and shenanigans here or is it the unethical runescape friends?

Maybe I'll post my personal information ,id, family and stuff if that will help but not sure I wanna go down that route.

Yes, that will help. Send theymos your KYC details and I'm sure he'll get right on it.

Would like to get a response on what exactly the ban was for

Ban evasion.
