I think your data service model without roaming would be a success. Using blockchain technology makes it possible to realize the transparency users deserves while using a mobile service network.
But first, you’ll have to meet the requirements of the regulatory organization in your country and also cross the hurdles of approval as a mobile network operator. Wishing you success.

Yea, you have a point, like how do they intend to provide such services without getting approved by the laws of most countries, especially if its a case where they will have like physical offices or something, i understand no one owns blockchain technology since the concept behind it is decentralized but then again, laws are coming up to checkmate brands from the industry

I visited the website and had to go through the Elynet team. I have to admit Elynet has got a outstanding team when you talk about having a good name and experience in public adoption and  development of new technology. Might not take so long to get the government support, but that’s a very important and needed factor for Elynet.

I have not been to their website yet to ascertain the validity of the whole thing but i'm pretty much interested on the aspect of worldwide adoption and how they intend to overcome the issue of people coming to terms that the project is not a conventional one that they are used not but its coming out from a strange industry to many which is the blockchain industry

I’ll say on first check this would be a brilliant project, but I’ll like a link to your github page. It would be great to see how much work has been done on your project.
I see ElyNet is a South Korean Project (most team members are from South Korea) and seem to have a good link with LG Inc, does this mean your services would be limited to people in South Korea? And investors would be South Korean too?

I don't think the project would be limited to South Korean since its utilising blockchain technology and secondly, I read that the sim less network can be used anywhere in the world. Am personally thrilled by the details of the project, but am not surprised by the workability and potential of blockchain technology.

On going through the blog, I was not surprised by the accomplishments of the team members so far and its a clear indication that the project would be offering so much more to benefit the users. Telecom is a multi billion dollar industry and am glad that blockchain technology is also utilized in the industry.

At this moment I can't imagine SiM-less mobile communication. But with blockchain technology anything is possible. I am curious to see the progress of this project.

SIM-less mobile network? Will it work if I use any existing mobile phone? Or I need to buy new specific hardware?
Will it operate over existing telecom infrastructure? I mean fiber cables, towers etc?

Seriously it will be very interesting to see the mobile Network without sim. But yes without sim what kind of technology or hardware it is going to use?

I believe sim less mobile network is not a new invention in the world, because I know a couple of mobile network providers in my country who offers such to their customers, but there's always a restriction as to the location where the service could be enjoyed. I suppose they utilize the fibre optic technology to reach their clients.
ELYNET is proposing a higher version of the sim less technology which is expected to be without borders and utilizing the blockchain technology. I am thrilled by this prospect and can't wait to see as the project unfolds.

Based on the information provided at the blog, top team members including CEO has worked for LG. So they seems to have all the experience and knowledge and understanding of business.

I checked out your telegram, and it’s was quite what I expected. Interesting and updated with announcements about your project, quite disappointed that few of those announcements are shared here on bitcointalk, which has a broader reach than telegram.
Here’s one about Elynet proposed launch date; https://www.coincurb.com/news/elynet-first-global-blockchain-telecom-company-announces-launch/

being experienced of one of the major requirement for building blockchain based solution and from the look of things elynet have what it takes to build what they are proposing, i will advise them to carry out intensive publicity to get as much audience as they can.

I just checked elynet's telegram and I find it interesting that they have their own mobile application CRUDE  and users can buy data by using elynet  tokens ElyX, and can also gift unused data to others and many more features like free international calls. That's really gonna make a great impression on telecommunication Industry.

You're actually right and it will be best if they seek those countries that spend a lot on data, that should give them like a major yardstick for countries to go after and a good signal for business because the competition will be less once they issue out cheaper data services than what the specific country or countries are used to, i won't encourage them to go for anything outside that

I just checked the video at ELYNET.io site, and what they mentioned that Elynet users can use the data or mobile services anywhere in the world that too at almost 50% low cost. No roaming charges and many other benefits.
Not sure how easy or difficult it's to actually implement this solution.

I don't really know how they intend to do this but most times it involves the brand selling like their hardware to the public before one can use their services since it will be a sim-less thing but i'm looking forward to seeing this come to life, data in some regions is still quite expensive and if they can tap into the market and make available cheap data, then they got themselves a market

I thought they want to service just wireless communication via cellular calls. Is there a data service inclusion? Would be really nice to see that happen

Of course the service can't be limited to only south Korea. I am actually interested in the link to LG. Is LG company already confirming this claims? Do they have Elynet as a partner or product on their website?

Asking for the link to the github page in weird considering they might not be an open source company and will not want their code public. Maybe they can release a prototype.

I must say I am not really sure how this will work, yet. Are they planning to build their own mobile operating system? It will be hard to compete against Android, iOS and the Huawei OS.

from the information i have gathered so far i don't think they are planning to build an os i believe they are trying to create a network layer that will operate without the need for sim hence the sim-less nature what i don't get is how will it happen. i have not gone through their whitepaper for technical information

I don't think it will be that hard if they intend to provide cheap data services like they intend to and they probably may use the iOS or android operating system to make this happen, i may be wrong though, its a lot of questions that needs to be answered, especially the hardware aspect, like do they intend to have like a collaboration with a major brand to develop this or what?

Couple with the fact that there are already number of blockchain based projects running with similar ideas and not being successful with implementation. However let's see how it all turns out to be. When we can get a hang of it and they can get a fair share of the market then I think the project will be profitable for business in the long term.

According to their telegram page I guess yes data means mobile data which we buy to connect with Internet. And for more information you may follow this link.

With this. Where are they going to launch their product first. Because I know most countries have a way they access their own data for internet usage.

Yes this is right the team is  going to face a lot of problems while launching this new tech, but where they gonna launch it first that info I think is not provided but guessing the team is from South Korea so they gonna start it from there.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
