Yes bitcoin is a way to escape the manipulation of the government when it comes to our money but I cannot say that bitcoin is better than US dollars. It's not that I doubt bitcoin, but both of them have their uses. Bitcoin is bitcoin, same with US dollar. They have their pros and cons. But as of now, most people would probably chose US dollar. They would chose fiat over crypto. Since bitcoin still need to be recognized by a lot of people. It still need mass adoption

I agree with this statement, as I saw in the Mr. Sunshine Korean drama mostly the powerful state can freely control their economy in the way they're dealing with their currency.

Japanese at that time are forcing Joseon (Korean) people to use their money as a mean of paying or buying something because they are the powerful country that time they have the power to do it

I think this is the same thing with the United States as long as most people are buying those dollars, there won't be enough room for bitcoin to improve its circulation in the other country.
But thankfully as of now, most people are using it compared to last time when it first introduced by Satoshi.

We can discuss what is better or worse, but we all know that US politics are firmly behind their currency, from the president to the majority of citizens. No matter how good Bitcoin is, I think its almost impossible to expect someone will say "Bitcoin is better than $".

We live in a world where control became an obsession of governments, and if you control the money you have the power to do anything, and even to make such move as give banks $75 billion of fresh money for 24 hours so they can play with it and make a profit. Since this is a move we see last time back in 2008, it clearly shows us which direction we are headed.

Bitcoin is better just because it can not be printed when someone wants it, it can not be faked and it has limited supply, what else we need to say?

Bitcoin might still be better in some ways to any currency and real money, time will tell I suppose.
But in my country we seem to view Bitcoin's value is and has always been greatly influence by US dollar.
Bitcoin's potential is truly amazing, but as long as it is hindered with all these noise and fuss.. we might not yet
feel nor see bitcoin's quintessential capabilities like we all envisioned and hoped for. There is still hope.

People who live on US will definitely choose US dollar because it's their main currency so we are that has local currency. Upon reading that news, the thing that came to my mind is they can print whenever they want and how many they want.

Unlike bitcoin, it beats the usual cycle of the gov't that prints money because there's a supply limit of 21 million. But with the comparison of it, we need to see bitcoin be accepted first by most countries and most people.

AFAIK it's only US dollar can print the paper money as they wish (I know this is sounds ridiculous but that'sthe fact of a super power country) ... any other fiat currency like Japanese yen (JPY) Chinese yuan (CNY) they can't do that (they won't do that), why?
They are need a world bank permission, they will have a bigger chance to have a hyperinflation just like in Zimbabwe if they decide to print the money unlimitedly, but not with the United states they seems have something special I don't know what it is ... maybe we just get fooled all this time idk.

Bitcoin is indeed a form of financial freedom we needed right now, nobody get fooled here as nobody control it ...

Not sure about that but if other countries aren't allowed to do that and they need a permission from the world bank then the hyperinflation on Zimbabwe was stopped if their gov't was stopped or not allowed to print more money.

I don't completely know the rules about printing money but I think every country is allowed to do that even without the permission of world bank. They know that it will cause inflation and other consequences that it may bring.

comparing btc to fiat or usd is as a way to compare asset to liability which is way more better in everything, btc is an asset while usd or any fiat is liability with the inflation rate and that has make the world to crubble but btc is far better in everything as it only has a high volatility  but has a good future to be store as an asset.

One thing I learned these past few years is that never put your savings in a bank as fiat. Your 4 dollars today may buy you a Big Mac meal, but in the next 10 years, it will only pay for the softdrink. One should put their savings into hard assets like land, gold and of course, Bitcoin.

well this is part of the game. If people really knew how the economy works they would be very angry. The media does not pay much attention to bankers' crimes or their abusive practices and privileges.  Banks are major sponsors of media groups, so it's hard to change this scenario.

Right now yes US dollar better than Bitcoin. Cause just think how much people use bitcoin and how much people use US dollar for their daily life. Bitcoin ban in many countries include US. But US dollar is legal in the whole world.

But there is no doubt that bitcoin will be much better than US or any currency in near future. Bitcoin just arrived couple of years ago but money is really old currency. It just need some time to accept bitcoin world widely.

This is why BTC is better than any FIAt money, central banks are fooling us with fiat, they print, the dollar in our hands gets less valuable and we have to work more. This is a never ending story, around we go. Bitcoin offers protection from such manipulation of system .

Is that not what US has been doing to make their economy look sound, meanwhile all they do is print money which is why they are dealing with lots of inflation in the country till date, trump came out openly to deny bitcoin because he knows that if he does not do that, and bitcoin gets recognized worldwide, it will really expose US rots and people will see the United State for who they are and how they have been using cloth to cover their wound.

They fail to realized that in the long run, accepting cryptocurrency could make their inflation to disappear, and even built their economy the more, because one of the things that is making their money not feel enough is because of this same corruption by some their government top.

Even bitcoin is falling it is still possible to  have a higher value in the future. Because bitcoin is a very expensive currency, if btc will begin to  hit the price of 20k it will become the powerful  money to all over the world. Dollar Will  be no value compared to bitcoin in the future.

The US Gov had just been doing the same thing since years and making fool of people on the name of "repo" and many other reasons they put up. They are actually increasing debts on their side and this unnecessary printing of bills without any prior information shows that Bitcoin is actually the best alternative over anything considering that it is only 21 million and the number can never, ever be changed even if Satoshi shows up and interferes because that's how the protocol should work.

I always think that Bitcoin is better than USD because USD can create more, and that makes inflation happen. Bitcoin can be used to transact online around the world. We do not need through any bank. This is an advantage that I always appreciate Bitcoin, the anonymous feature also helps the transactions to fixed.

The thing is they can print out money as they wish whenever they wish and dilute and add more capital to the banks anytime they wish in any amount they wish. They are completely in control and the people have very little say in it. Only the peoples trading affects the prices and that is not nearly the same as printing out new bills. Now trade must increase to make up for that otherwise there will be inflation.

With crypto, there is no central power so no one can printout anything. If you want more then you going to have to mine it and earn it yourself.

No no, not yet the right time.
People are still glued with traditional money which is fiat.
To change is that is a lot of hard work.
Yes we are now in the world where credit cards or other plastics are the means of how we pay then we just pay the bank with our account. We dont even need to use the paper money anymore as long as banks say you do still have a balance.

Now bitcoin, the smartphone era is here. Every human being even kids can handle one of it.
We now use applications which will just scan a QR code then you can pay.
It is upgrading but it is still fiat which is being used.
How much better could bitcoin offer about this?
