in my opinion the biggest problem in cryptocurrency now is scammers. they always have ways to commit fraud and we cannot avoid this because there are no institutions that can punish these scammers. and this is one of the risks we must face when entering the crypto market. but lately there is good news about IEO hopefully this will be a good solution. IEO provides a sense of security for investors.

I like your last line, "IEO provides a sense of security for investors". This is true, but scammers still take advantage of IEOs on exchanges without reputation, to scam gullible investors. We all just have to be very careful, don't get excited with IEO without doing proper due diligence to avoid regrets. Regulations can only reduce scammers but definitely can't eradicate them completely from crypto space.

It is the main reason why most ICOs failed after numbers of ICO scammed a lot of investors, crypto had been tainted with a bad image as a scam. A lot of scam developers created a scam project since conducting an ICO is not that strict and they don't have to comply with any requirement, just a good team, a plagiarized white paper and good marketing strategy.

Really if there is any way to erase scammers off crypto space it would have been better, 2019 would have bring better results for altcoins if not for scam projects everywhere scamming new investors, now scammers are scaring off new crypto investors wannabe since there is no trust or whatsoever and investors don't want to lose money either, whatever the next altcoin results is going to be will not be huge as many expected due to investors not trusting new altcoins anymore, no wonder why binance launchpads are selling out in seconds.

We cannot actually clear those people off easily. There are lots of scammers here, we can recognize them by the steps they do and we can also eliminate them by reporting them into the administrator/manager. But in terms of wiping them out, I don't really think we can do that. I believe that they are to blame for making the community worst, they are taking advantage of other people just to earn money. That is not fair. We are here to earn and to support crypto but I think the only way we should do is be careful of every step we take. And we should not trust anyone. Campaigns who are turning into scams will really come out of nowhere no matter what year we're at, regardless if it's an ICO, STO, or IEO generation. It's either they'll end up as an exit scam or a dead coin not meeting any of their promises even though they had successful token offering. We can no longer trust word of mouth from famous personalities too, John mcafee endorsed an ICO scam last 2018 which is now awaiting court decision. That will tell you that you should still do your own research and not rely on news.

Sentiments and news drives a lot of what's happening in crypto and we have to play it smart and minimize our losses as much as we can.

Investors believe in IEO like Binance because it already has the legality and a real team. Different from the lively ico there is a good one and some are deceiving. Scams can occur because there is an intention from the developer team and investor ignorance. Investors should be more observant and careful in choosing a project and I think this is a common mistake because there is no clear regulation on ICO or fundraising for new projects.

Scammers took cryptocurrency as another way to earn on their own illegal actions. The fact is, we can't eliminate them because, in every industry, where there is money involved, there will always be scammers. Since we can't erase them in the crypto world, we just have to avoid and get rid of them. We should do a series of research first upon joining or investing. We should be observant and if there's something to doubt about, we have to check their legitimacy.
