The problem of fraud exists at all times and in all areas of life. The field of cryptocurrencies is a completely new area that does not yet have strict regulation by the states, and this gives more freedom for fraudulent activity. The good news is that this year the number of such unscrupulous projects has greatly decreased and there is hope that investors will return to the crypto sphere.

You are definitely right. Cryptocurrency has no regulation at all that makes it open for abuse. That is why scammers can easily scammed people without worrying for a penalty. Eventhough some were against that Crytocurrency will be regulated, we need to think about it.

Yea, the IEO market was good for a while but it has slowed down considerably lately, you have to consider the fact that the Cryptocurrency market is very volatile and anything could happen in a red market, for example recently, one of the Binance IEOs called MATIC dipped over -60% suddenly and it had nothing to do with the scammers, infact Binance investigated it and said it had nothing to do with the team, it was just a scared big trader who dumped and it started a domino effect, scammers has done a lot of damage no doubt, but sometimes the bear market is even more dangerous to the growth of Cryptocurrencies.

You might find there are less scams now as investors turn their attention away from the scammy ICO space to the more trustworthy IEO crowdfunding model, but if you're going to invest into these ensure you choose ones from the best performing launchpads only and don't bother with any of the smaller exchange launches as these usually won't involve quality startups with long term viability and an innovative product

Everyone in crypto already taste scammed. I think we should thank to scammer because of them we can be more careful. They are in every where even in real life. But i hope there is a regulation that can protect us.

That's just ridiculous to thank scammer for scamming us and it doesn't matter how much scammer around there'll always some people that got trapped into that kind of scam and to actually thank scammer for that is simply selfish and unjustified.
These scammers usually just taking advantage of old people or people who are tech illiterate and such thing won't make them become careful because they have no idea about tech to begin with.

Not everyone. I have been scammed before and agree most people have been at some point or other. But not everyone. I know one guy who only did Bitcoin,,, he never join a single ICO in his life and just never even buy altcoins. The only alts he has were given to him,,, but he did not ever spend a single cent because he believes alts are all scams once they passed 2016. He is probably right!

It is included in the risk that you are taking when you first entered the crypto world, indeed being secured in the crypto world isn't 100% job of the security system that you can found on the internet  because it is all on you, so exerting time and effort on doing research about the projects you are interested can lessen the chance of you being scammed and losing money. Our place isn't a secure place, scammers and hackers lurks the internet so having a skill of being able to analyze things in the internet is a must.

Crypto is new so i expected lots of scammers especially since 2017 shows how much one can make from crypto and the tech became a target, the only thing left that can change

Crypto is new??? It's not even new when it has been exist since more than a decade.

If that would happen in the future than there is no point of decentralization of crypto because that is the main point of crypto for being decentralize. No one can actually regulate this.

we really have to prepare ourselves because there is no guarantee in crypto. fraud is free here so we really have to be able to distinguish which is the original project and a scammer, if we can't distinguish then our funds will be threatened

Really if there is anyway to erase scammers off crypto space it would have been better, 2019 would have bring better results for altcoins if not for scam projects everywhere scamming new investors, now scammers are scaring off new crypto investors wannabe since there is no trust or whatsoever and investors don't want to lose money either, whatever the next altcoin results is going to be will not be huge as many expected due to investors not trusting new altcoins anymore, no wonder why binance launchpads are selling out in seconds.

If crypto space is just like how binance managed IEO project in return for their own reputation altcoins will be skyrocketing right now because much more money will flow in, exchanges like binance is giving out trust investment that i really hope the entire altcoin space can do the same but its a shame scammers are robbing off the trust

Cryptocurrency is building on our trust and security because we saw it secure so we trust and invest. We invested our money in cryptocurrency when we didn't think about scam project. This could be done by one day because now we worried about scam projects.

Scammers, investors, just everyone involved in cryptocurrency is to be blamed for anything happening now. If there was some sort of individual regulations, scammers so to say won't have gained ground but everyone gave in to quick profit which placed us where we are today.
